I walk into the room confident, and gracefully just as Jeanine wants.
"Sit." Jeanine starts, gesturing to the chair.
"Hey." I greet, Jeanine and I have been on friendly terms. She's like my second mother.
Anyway, I'm turning sixteen in a few months. That's when I'll decide where to go, and i'll take the test. Of course, people expect me to stay, and I expect to stay too.
But I'm not so sure.
"We have a meeting with Dauntless, Skye." Jeanine says, getting off her chair. "I need you to be prepared to hack into a control room once you're there, and show the leaders the new weapons you've been working on." Jeanine walks over to me and rests her hand on my shoulder.
"You've been doing wonderfully Skye." Jeanine praises me. "Very wonderfully. I'm proud of you."
I smile. "Thanks, after all, I am amazing right?" Grinning, I get up and salute to Jeanine.
"Yes, ma'am. Reporting to duty. I'll get ready." I laugh, and get going.
