The next day , Jay was waiting for Hae Jin to come for the first day of her job . He literally woke up early just to open the cafe early incase the girl will come earlier than expected .
Jay's POV
"Do I look good ? I mean , does the color of my polo suits me or not ? Do I have to style my hair upward?" I asked the two young men in front of me as I anxiously looked at my reflection in the glass window .
"yahh Jay ! Let me remind you .. you ain't going on a date . You are just waiting for your EMPLOYEE to come , to pass her resume for her to start to work " Sunghoon said emphasizing the word employee
He already knew about Hae Jin . I told him on the phone when I called him earlier and he rushed here to see it himself .
Heeseung hyung came here after Sunghoon arrived . He went home after he ate his breakfast at my place .. He's quite a regular at my house that our maids treats him as my family also .
" yeah Sunghoon's right Jay .. Why are you so anxious when she'll just coming here for work .. Nothing more , nothing less " Heeseung hyung told me then I sat beside Sunghoon weakly
" oh , it slipped in my mind hyung .. she's just coming here for work , of course " I sadly said .. well , they're right in the first place .. Hae Jin will be here to work and not to flirt .. I'm just the one thinking about her differently because I like her
By the way , Jake's not here .. but he'll come back in two days .. He's been so busy attending some conferences abroad and he couldn't hang out with us sometimes .. While our adorable Ni-ki was as usual , making himself busy working since it's saturday and he's working all day .. He even refused to have a day off . As if he really needed a lot of money .. well if he'll told me he needs money , I would give him any amount he needs without paying me back . But this boy had his pride higher than him and he doesn't want to take money without working for it .
" Just remember to act normal Jay .. She doesn't even know that you like her . Even you , didn't know if you really like her because you're confused right now .. if your feelings won't change in the next few weeks , then we could conclude that you had completely lose your mind hahaha" Sunghoon said to me then laughed .. why is he making fun of me T^T
"Is this some sort of social experiment ?" I asked him back then I heard the sound of the door chimes indicating that there's someone entered the cafe .
I fixed myself unconsciously as I see her looking around when she entered .
"She's here .." I informed them "Gosh do you see his eyes forming hearts hyung ?" Sunghoon asked Heeseung hyung
"Idiot .. how can his eyes form a heart ?! " He was so serious that he didn't even get Sunghoon's joke
"it's not literal hearts hyung .. I mean his eyes were full of adoration look!" Sunghoon again said but I didn't mind them ..
Hae Jin approached Ni-ki at the counter maybe to ask where am I when I called her . She immediately come to me after .
"Good morning sir .. I came here to pass my resume " she then bowed to me
" hi Hae Jin~ah good morning to you too ! How's your day ? oh let me have your resume " I enthusiastically greeted her back then I felt Sunghoon lightly hit me at my butt ..I looked back at him but he just grinned at me and gave me a teasing look
"I'm feeling great today sir " she replied then gave me her resume
"sit here for a moment .." I moved a chair next to Heeseung hyung for her to sit
"no, it's okay sir .. I'll just stand here , I don't want to be a bother to your guests" she said but I grabbed her hand and let her sit beside Heeseung hyung but she's just lowering her head and avoiding eye contact with us
"oh by the way Hae Jin , this is Heeseung hyung then this one on your front was Sunghoon .. they're my friends .. bros , this is Hae Jin " I formally introduce them to each other
"it's really true .. that you're pretty Hae Jin~ah .. Jay can't stop telling us everything about y-" I stopped Sunghoon from talking by putting a hand on his mouth
" ahh hehe .. don't mind him Hae Jin " I nervously said to her .. but I noticed Heeseung hyung remained quiet on his seat .. as if he's observing Hae Jin
" it's okay sir .. so , when will I start ?" oh right I forgot .. she came here to work
" Ni-ki !! come here for a moment" I called Ni-ki which instantly came after
" please guide Hae Jin to the staff's room to change in her uniform then teach her all the things she needed to learn .. she will be your shift partner from now on " I told him .. he just weakly nods at me like he has no force
" hello Ni-ki , how are you my adorable brother ?" Heeseung hyung asked Ni-ki but he just raised his hand and gestured 'OK'
" aww Jay , you should buy this baby , vitamins he looks pale and weak " Sunghoon hugged him and petted Ni-ki's head .. Heeseung hyung stands up to hug Ni-ki also
" It's okay Ni-ki, you'll soon get over with this .. trust me . We'll always be here for you angel " Ni-ki just nodded at him and my heart just breaks as I watch Ni-ki . He's so vulnerable
"thanks hyungs , I'm okay .. I'll guide my new co-worker now "he just said .. both of them released their hug from Ni-ki and let him go

Hae Jin stayed working here for the past few months and the longer she stays here , the deeper I am falling for her . I just can't help it .
Today , I'll tell Ni-ki about how I felt for Hae Jin .. he has to know because he's my dear friend and also he has to be aware of it because they work in the same place .
I walked closer to him then tapped his shoulder .. We are now at the staff's room
" Ni-ki .. I'll tell you something " He looked back at me
" What is it hyung ? Should I be nervous ?" he's now joking .. he's getting better
" umm .. well, I don't know where to start .." he looked at me confused but I continued to talk
" I had someone who I like .. and you know her " I could see that he was shocked
"Do you finally getting me a mom hyung ?" He said with sparkly eyes .. this time , I'm the one who's at the state of shock
" what do you mean ?! Are you finally accepting me as your dad ? oh my god .. I'm not ready for this " I'm so happy .. he finally wants me to be his dad .. after all these years .. I need to visit my lawyer and file an adoption application
" whatever hyung .. but who is it ?" he asked excitedly
" it's Chu Hae Jin .." his eyes were so wide now
" WHAT?! Are you serious hyung ? She was like same age as me ! oh my god .. How could I call her mom ?" he jokingly said .. he must be in a good mood today
" but she still hasn't know Ni-ki so please be quiet for now .. hehe , you can call her mom the moment I'll confess to her " he just chuckled .. I'm not expecting him to react this way
" okay hyung .. when will you plan to confess ?"
" I don't know Ni-ki .. I'm afraid she doesn't like me "
" Who wouldn't like you hyung ? You're the best in all aspects and no girl would hesitate to fall for your charms " aww I'm flattered
" I hope she likes me too .. but for now , let's get back to work" He just nodded and we went outside the room ..
As I opened the door , I saw Hae Jin with Jake and I felt really jealous .. I could see in my peripheral vision that Ni-ki is looking at me
We just walked towards them to greet Jake and also to listen what they're talking about .. I'm curious .. maybe Jake likes her also but I told him that I like Hae Jin .. I just wished he's not flirting with her
Jake said he just wanted to be her friend but I could see that Hae Jin was uncomfortable .. She stutters and sweats a lot . Then Jake moved to wipe her forehead .. I felt so jealous .. that should be me
I just let her talk with Jake more even though my heart hurts . I just went to the counter to help Ni-ki .. He just gave me a concerned look but I just shrugged it off .

After Jake went out the cafe , Hae Jin rush to the bathroom then I saw Ni-ki followed her .
I just watched them talked from afar .. and took some videos and photos of them secretly .. I'mma document this as mother and child first encounter as friends hehe
Ni-ki told me everything that they've talked about and I'm happy that they're friends now ..

Since the three of us were close now , everytime Ni-ki and I would hang out after work , I'm making sure that Hae Jin was with us also .. this is just an excuse to be with her longer .
I just love being with her always .. as in ALWAYS .. my day wouldn't be complete if I won't see her . It was like I am addicted to her.
And as the days , weeks and months passed by , we've grown a bond together .. and I feel that she had feelings for me too but we don't dare to talk about it .
But one time as I drive her home , I finally ask her for a date which she gladly agreed also .
That date went smooth and romantic as I expected and I confessed to her that night . I asked her for 5 more dates for me to prove that my intentions for her was pure . I was so happy that she agreed .
It is almost everyday that I make her feel special .. I even gave her flowers and gifts while she's at work . But at some point , whenever Jake was at the cafe , I felt really jealous but she just said that she and Jake were just friends and nothing more than that .
Hae Jin is really a simple girl . She doesn't want luxurious things . He often scold me when I give her expensive gifts and take her on classy dates . She said she doesn't want that . She even complained of me always paying for the food . She said we'll split it or she must pay also . Instead of classy restaurants , she'll take me to some place where there's street foods . She even scold me when I gave her flowers because she believe it's not really necessary . She isn't like those girls who takes advantage of a man's wealth . She's not a gold digger .
Today was our last date .. And today , I'll asked her to be my girlfriend . I hope this will go like I planned . My friends also helped me with this . We even closed the cafe for just today because I decided to held our date here . Heeseung hyung , Sunghoon , Ni-ki , Sunoo and Jungwon helped me to decorate the place . Jake wasn't here and I didn't tell him . He's at Australia now to fix some things. I'll just tell him when he comes back .
I'm waiting for Hae Jin to come .. like I wait for her on her first day of work lol .
I feel so nervous , anxious and excited .. all my feelings were mixed up right now that I couldn't think properly .
" guys , is everything okay ? " I asked them for the nth time
"oh my god hyung .. I don't know if how many times you asked us that .. and I'll answer you one more time .. yes , everything's okay so don't worry and try to calm yourself" Ni-ki answered me .. how to calm down ?
"come here Ni-ki give me a hug " I opened my arms for me but he didn't even moved an inch
" nahh hyung . I'm so tired to pamper you today hyung .. " he said and I just pouted " if I'll hug you now , I'm afraid I'll ruin your suit hehe " he's just looking for excuses hmp !
" hyung she's here !" Sunoo squealed as she sees Hae Jin outside the cafe .. all of them hide and focused on recording our moment
I opened the door for her and escorted her on our table . She was so pretty tonight with her cute dress that we bought in Jake's boutique .
"You're so pretty Hae Jin~ah " I whispered into her ear as she sits on her chair .. she smiled sweetly at me
"You look stunning tonight Mr. Park " she replied
I seated in front of her and I couldn't take my eyes off from her .
"umm .. I'll melt if you'll stare at me like that Jay .. " she chuckled .. aww she's so cute
"let's eat " I said to her .. I chopped the steak on my plate then exchange it to hers so she won't do it anymore ..
" aww how sweet .. " she said ..
" just for you love " she just smiled and took a piece of it on her fork .. I was shocked when she offered it to me but I gladly took it .
We both eat for a while then I decided to ask her
" Hae Jin , it's the last date that I asked for you right?! "
" hmmm .. yes " she said and looked at me .. I reached her hand and hold it softly
" so did I ever had a chance ?" I asked her
" of course .." she answered and I was thrilled to ask her another question
" so , Chu Hae Jin .. will you be my girlfriend ?" I looked at her deeply in her eyes anticipating for her answer
It's a bit long when she finally released a deep breath and I was so nervously that she'll decline ..
She holds my hand tightly ..
" Yes Jay .. I'll be more than happy to be your girlfriend " wait did she really - .. wait oh my god
" Jay ?! " she asked when she noticed that I'm not saying anything .. I was so shocked
" oh my god .. do you really mean it love ? you're really my girlfriend ? " I asked to make it sure.. who knows she's just pranking me
"yes Jay .. I'm yours" she smiled at me .. I stand up from my seat and went to her to hug her .. I was so happy like I couldn't express how happy I am right now .
" I love you Hae Jin~ahh .." I said crying happy tears
" I love you too Jay.. and don't cry " she caress the back of my head
" so , can I kiss you ?" I asked her of course .. it's important to ask permission
" yes you can "
I caress her face as I looked at her enchanting sparkly eyes , I kissed her forehead then her nose ..
"I really love you .. love~ " I said as I kissed her lovingly in her lips .. Her lips was so sweet and it's so addicting that I can't stop tasting it
We released after a moment to gasp for air . I hug her tightly
" I'm really happy that you finally accepted me love " I honestly said
" I am too .. I was waiting for so long for you to finally say that love " oh so .. it means she already love me ?
" yes I was already inlove with you " she answered my question in my mind
" are you a mind reader ?" I asked her " nope .. it's just my instinct hehe .." she then chuckled
" by the way .. you may come out now guys .. I've been so comfortable ever since I entered because I know y'all are hiding " Hae Jin said as she looked at every corner where she suspects my friends are hiding and she was correct
" Congratulations to the both you you !" they said in chorus
" m-mom .." Ni-ki walked towards us
" mom?" Hae Jin asked confused
" oh and one thing love .. you should also accept Ni-ki as your son hehe " I said to her .. she was so confused right now and we all just laughed at her
" what do you mean love ?" she asked
" Ni-ki is my son .. and you're now his mom " I explained
" How come ? " aww she was so naive
" Haha .. I mean , I treat him as my child so , you have to also .. please ?" I gave her puppy eyes
" eww my eyes .. what am I seeing ?!" Ni-ki said and walked away from us
" haha stop that love .. alright Ni-ki is our child .." yay ! she finally agreed .. tommorow I'll really go to my lawyer to process the adoption papers

this is the longest chapter I've ever done oh my god .. If I haven't seen the number of words , I would literally add more for this chapter lmao but I'll just stop because I had given justice to Jay and Hae Jin's love story .. this will have an important part for the next next next chapters hehe ..
