It was a gloomy Thursday afternoon, around 4:55 pm. I reached for my father's arms, wanting someone to hold while I cried for a man. My mother sat in a corner, watching me with a breaking heart knowing how much love hurt. My brothers all stared at me with wide, innocent eyes- wondering why I was crumbling for a stranger.
I looked back at them, and my heart ached even more.
It was an inevitability.
One day, different girls would be in my place and they would be the reasons why.
