A/N : Let her sleep. I know this title isn't my best. But I couldn't help but find this funny after how I ended this chapter. It was funny.

Remus looked at his friend disappear from infront of him angrily. He knew Sirius was rash and could do something that would harm him in return. He looked around and saw Molly fussing over the new kid. Harry looked angry and stormed off from infront of him. His eyes followed to where Hermione was watching him go. She must have felt his gaze on her as she turned to look at him. Their eyes locked and she gave him a nod.

He knew what she was trying to say to him. You take care of Sirius and I will take care of Harry.
But how did he know that? He didn't have that connection with Hermione. They didn't know each other that well to talk with a gaze.

He nodded in response and apparated away. He had a fair idea where Sirius would be.

He stood outside of the Shrieking Shack and could hear noises from within.
He casted a shield over himself and stepped in. Sirius look a mess. His eyes were red and his long black locks scattered all over his face. He had broken the entire furniture that was inside the Shack and was kicking a broken piano at the moment.

Remus could remember the day, they all placed the piano in the Shack. It was only Sirius who knew how to play and he would play for him before the transformation to take his mind off the pain. Remus liked listening to the piano. Bit there was another memory about this piano that he wanted to remember but couldn't. It was there behind a curtain.
For a second, there was the same lady who was haunting him day and night standing infront of the piano playing a tune that he couldn't hear. Her face was covered by fog and he knew no matter how hard he tried he would not be able to see her. He had tried many times in the past two years to see how the woman in her head looked like but couldn't see her no matter how much he tried.

"Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!" Sirius' cursing sound pulled him back from his stance. He tore his gaze away from the woman to look at his friend. He had hit his hand on a nail and now it was bleeding.

"Let me." Remus said, pulling his wand out, "Episkey."

Sirius didn't say anything, not even looked at him and sat down on the floor holding his head between his legs. Remus sat down beside him quietly , knowing that he needed time to arrange his thoughts.

"Are you okay now?" He asked after what seemed like a long while.

"Do I look okay?" Sirius asked his eyes bloodshot.

"No." Remus said honestly. "What happened? Did that kid say something?" He asked.

"No. He didn't have to. I know he is evil." Sirius spat.

"How do you know that?"

"I- I… I just know that okay!" Sirius seemed to be holding back. "I can't tell you but trust me Remus. He is evil. He should be sent to Azkaban. We should keep everyone away from him. Harry should stay away from him." Sirius begged.

"How can someone listen to you Padfoot when you won't even tell your reasons?"

"You will think it is just my imagination."
Remus sighed in defeat. He knew Sirius won't back down. He decided to change the topic.

"Lets go home Siri. You should apologise to Harry."

"Why should I?" Sirius said haughtily. "He was the one who decided he wanted to be against me. I just want what is better for him. And he is not safe with that kid."

Remus pinched the bridge of his nose. The full moon was tomorrow and he was feeling very tired. He already had a headache.

Sirius must have seen his constipated expression as he cooled down.

"You go rest Moony." He said putting a hand on his shoulder.

"I will not leave you alone."

"I will be fine."

"Why don't you come home with me?"

"No. I need time to think. Just let me have some time. I will come back by night." Sirius bargained. "You need to rest."

"If you aren't home by midnight. I will come looking for you. No matter how exhausted I am."

"Done." Sirius flashed him a grin but it was fake and Remus could tell this easily. He knew his friend best. He also knew that Sirius really needed some time to think on his own. Now that he was sure that Sirius won't do something foolish, he could give him the space he needed.

Harry waltzed up to the room he earlier used to share with Ron. He was angry. Sirius had not only tried to hurt Mike but he also proved him a lier. Harry had promised Mike that he would be there for him. It had taken a lot of convincing to make Mike open up to him and agree to join for this dinner but Sirius ruined it all. Just because he had some pathetic problem with Slytherin. But how come he even know that the boy was a Slytherin?

The bedroom door opened to a very familiar sight. His two best friends standing there with a concerned expression. He couldn't help but feel some of his anger evaporate. After everything he had seen in his life and face, he was glad that his friends were still there for him.

"Are you fine, mate?" Ron asked as he sat down on the old bed. It creaked under his weight. If he weren't in a sour mood, he would have joked about Ron gaining weight and to eat less.

"Fine. Where's Mike?" He asked.

"He is with Molly." Hermione said.

"Mom seems to want to adopt him." Ron joked.

"Molly is a mother to everyone , isn't she?" Harry chuckled sadly.

No one said anything to this. The three of them had just her as their mother figure. There was no denying her motherly nature. She practically adopted every kid she saw without a mother.

After a long silence, which his friends gave him so that he would tell them what he was thinking, Harry spoke.

"He is so much like me. He is an orphan and lives with his grandmother who hates him." His grandmother called him Satan since he was magic. But Harry didn't say this. He respected Mike's privacy.

"Sirius should not have behaved like that." Ron said understanding what Harry must be feeling seeing that.

"He must have had his reasons." Hermione said.

"He bullied him, Mione" Ron countered.

"He shouldn't have used force on him. But he couldn't just do that because. He must have had something to be angry about."

"He didn't even know him." Harry argued angry at Hermione. He had always known that she always sided with the elders. But now was not the time.

"He must have known his parents or something." Hermione said. "You know how Sirius can hold grudges. We have seen that with Severus." Harry glared at her and she added, "Give him a chance to explain Harry. You are all he has. Don't be harsh on him."

Harry huffed and Hermione smiled internally. She knew she had got to him. She just wished that Sirius had a good reason because what he did was really bad.

It was half past eleven and Hermione was pacing in the living room. She had a whimpering Liv in her arm as she sung a lullaby to her trying to get her to sleep. Harry and Remus had gone to sleeo in their room and she had silenced their door before coming downstairs. Harry was exhausted and Remus must be ill with the approaching full moon. She didn't want to disturb them. Also if they wake up, they would worry about Sirius who hadn't come back yet. She was rocking Liv who had finally managed to sleep, when she heard the main door open. It was followed with a loud thud and she rushed towards the door. There lying in a heap infront of the door was one and only Sirius Orion Black.

"Sirius?" She whispered shaking him.
He didn't reply.

"Sirius!" She shook him hardly and whispered yelled at him.

"YES. OH HELLO HERMIONE." He said loudly and Liv woke up again. Hermione flinched. She was really tired and wanted to be able to go to sleep and not deal with this drama right now.

"Shush!" Hermione said gently rocking Liv . Sirius placed a finger on his lip and tried to stand up but only manage to stagger and fall again.

"Lean on me." Hermione offered.

Finally , he managed to stand up with half his weight on her shoulder.

"Give me my princess." He slurred reaching for Liv.

"No, you will drop her."

"Like my mom dropped me." He sighed pouting. "She dropped me on my head."
Hermione couldn't help chuckling at this.

"Why are you both awake?" He asked as she helped him down on the couch.

"Liv has fever and wouldn't sleep." She shrugged as she rocked her daughter. Her hands had started to ache now.

Sirius was soon out and it took another hour for Liv to finally manage to sleep. She usually got cranky when she had fever and wouldn't sleep at night.
It was one thirty when she leviated Sirius to his room after placing Liv in bed. She fell on her soft welcoming bed and closed her eyes to finally catch a few hours of sleep.

A loud creak on the floor board outside her room told her that a werewolf suffering from insomania was out on his way to get hot chocolate.

"Fucking Great." She cursed under her breath and got up to help him. It was because she must be hurting at this time of month, she told herself.

I hope you guys like it. Tell me in comment.
