Cardi Takes Miami

A|N: Okay, I tried to come back and write more for this book because it's so funny and I don't want to end it, so I had to do another time skip because lol in my head, life goes on quickly asf but enjoy and let me know what you would like to see happen.
"The girls are working in Miami," Axel said.
"Cardi sent me the floor plans for the new barbershop," Zhan said.
Maddox sighed; running an empire was challenging as he shifted his attention to the floor plans of Cardi's barbershop that Zhan placed on his desk.
"What do you think?" Maddox asked Zhan.
"She picked a great location based on the report of the revenue income of the area, but the building codes are not up to date and will need an inspection before we can do anything," Zhan explained.
"How much will it cost?" Maddox asked.
"We're looking at least three hundred thousand dollars or more," Zhan answered.
Maddox nodded.
"Okay. Do what you need to do, and I'll pay it," Maddox said.
"And what about the third Nalora Boutique?" Rocco asked Zhan.
While Nettie was in Miami, Rocco was secretly building her third location in Atlanta at Lenox Square. Nettie had expressed her desire to have a third location for Nalora for almost a year now. Still, after making her second location, she gave up on the idea of having a third location, so about eight months ago, Rocco reached out to Zhan about it.
"Two more weeks until the grand opening, the staff you hired are working on setting up the floorset for the store to reflect Nettie's new collection," Zhan answered.
Brock walked in; he looked worried about something.
"What's wrong, Brock?" Maddox asked his brother.
"She's back," Brock answered.
Maddox frowned, knowing who she was.
"Are you going to tell Cardi?" Zhan asked Maddox.
"Of course, I just don't know when," Maddox answered.
Axel shook his head.
"Just do it before anything pops off," Rocco said.
"Nothing good happens when she's around," Brock said.
"Let's just hope she stays away," Axel said.
Zhan scoffed.
"That's not going to happen," Zhan said.

"I'm so glad you ladies are in Miami; I don't have married female friends; it is so hard to do things and talk about family stuff with my single friends because they feel like I'm boring," Neri said.
"You don't have any friends that are married?" Cardi asked Neri.
Neri shook her head no.
"No, I don't," Neri answered.
"That's tough," Cardi said.
"It must be hard to get advice from friends," Princess said.
The girls were currently jewelry shopping. Princess invited Neri to join the girls because Neri didn't have that many friends, especially married ones, so Princess wanted her to get used to being around the girls.
Princess prayed that the girls accept Neri into the group because she liked her.
"Well, you have us now; everyone is married," Nettie said.
"And boss bitches," Janay added.
Neri smiled.
"So, what do you have going on?" Princess asked Neri.
"I've been swamped as I told you before; I'm opening a juice bar," Neri answered.
"Yes. So, when do you think you plan on opening?" Princess asked.
"Well, initially, it was supposed to be at the end of July, but now it's at the end of January," Neri explained. "There's so—many permits. I'm waiting on fire, zoning, and structural," Neri added.
"Oh my God. I just went through that," Princess said.
"Really?" Neri asked.
"Yeah. I was building my fourth nail salon. Right on, Melrose, my situation was unfortunate because I was building it from the ground up, and I was building it for two years," Princess explained.
"Two years. I would die if my juice bar is not open," Neri said.
"Yeah, I probably spent about a hundred thousand dollars. When I ended up not opening, you know, it's heartbreaking," Princess said.
"Yeah," Neri said.
"That's why you should have used Zhan's construction company," Cardi said.
Princess rolled her eyes, but she knew Cardi was right. Princess didn't want to mix her business with her personal life, so she hired a different construction company who stole her money and did a terrible job building the nail salon.
She couldn't do much about it as she was pregnant and didn't want to stress out about the situation, so she sold the building, sued the construction company, and got her money and more back.
"I mean, imagine paying five thousand dollars a month for something that's not even open," Princess said.
"But it wasn't your fault, that construction company played you," Nettie said.
Neri paused as she started thinking about her situation.
"I'm doing that right now," Neri said.
Princess looked at her in disbelief.
"Let me call my husband for you," Princess told Neri as she pulled out her phone to call Zhan.
