Donquixote Rosinante was a kind, honest, hardworking man. He was also a clumsy idiot. Rosinanate had been walking along the shore sighing. Doflamingo had sent him to recruit a sea witch, but he already knew none of them would wanna join. The rumors about Doffy weren't wrong. As he sat on his boat motor running, he began to thought about why exactly he was with Doffy. He knew it was his mission, but part of him knew it was because it was he was family..Rosinante had wanted a simple life. Don't get him wrong, he was by no mean simple, but he had wanted a child and a wife. He had made his brother believe he hated children, so none can join and he could protect them. "Stop right there!" Rosinante gasped stopping his day dreaming seeing a woman pop up she held a spear. "Your coming near our world, we made the agreement that no one would bother us. Your motor is scaring the children." He couldn't speak he was memorized by her beauty. "What do you want?" The woman asked before screeching, "OH MY GOD YOUR ON FIRE!!" Rosinante gasped patting himself before yelping as the woman threw him overboard, "THE WATER YOU IDIOT!!" She screamed again seeing him begin to drown. "YOU CAN'T SWIM!! OH MY GOSH I'M SO SORRY!!!" The woman apologized helping him back on board. "Are you okay?" He sighed before nodding. "I'm so sorry that spear wasn't even real I didn't mean to scare you, there are no fighting sea witches here..so I'm the only one who can defend this area of land.." Rosinante kept staring as she rambled on nervously. He thought she was cute. He held up a small note to tell her it's alright, "Oh my god your a mute too! I'm a monster I hurt a mute man!!" He wanted to calm her but also wanted to laugh, but he would blow his cover if he did. His control snapped when she began to climb over and slipped because of how wet she was from the water. "You can laugh!" He stopped laughing helping her up while shaking his head, "Oh so you can laugh, but can't speak that's funny. You seem nice." This girl was naive. "So what can I help you with?" Her smile was cute though, Doffy would destroy her. He held up a sign explaining his situation. "Your a pirate...Oh." He nodded sadly, "Well I'm sorry sir but there are no fighting sea witches here, only magical ones...so you should tell your boss-" Rosinante held up the next sign, Doffy wanted a sea witch doesn't matter what kind. She sighed before shaking her head. "Tell Doflamingo the others kindly refuse and if he has a complaint then he can take it up with me..I'll speak for everyone down here." Rosinante's eyes widened realizing what she meant. She would join as long as he left all of them alone. "No." Her eyes widened hearing his voice, "You can speak!" He sighed lighting a cigarette. "Yes I can and you shall not join so the others are safe miss-" "I apologize but that decision is not up to you. I don't want him to reign terror on the people or children here so I'll take the place, but I warn I can't fight very well and I will not harm innocent people." He sighed before grasping her arms to stop her. "He doesn't know I can speak, your the first person that I've spoken too in over a year, so take my words seriously. Get everyone out of here first and I'll come back for you later, cause if you can't fight he'll want to train you harshly and use the people here as collateral. Get them away and I'll help you get away after." She slowly nodded her head understanding him. He was clearly different and had ulterior motives than his brother. "I plan on being the one to take him down and if you want to live and the people here to live you'll help me with this. I will show you to him and then I'll help you escape are we understood?" She nodded before gasping and spraying him with water, "Sorry you were on fire again.." He nodded before helping her down. "When I get back I shall flash my light three times, that's when you come okay?...What's your name?" "Man this is all happening so fast I barely met you well I'm Lena. Thank you sir I'll get everyone out of here." Rosinante nodded before explaining that she can not under no circumstance reveal that he can speak. Afterwards she headed off and he went back to shore to wait till nightfall.

That night he had gone to get her and told Doflamingo about her. He accepted her openly. It had been three months since she joined. Rosinante had grown quite fond of her, but tonight would be the night he would fake her death, so she could leave. Doflamingo was growing fond of her as well. She was a big contrast to his personality. He was in love with her. Rosinante was though as well. Currently she had been helping Doffy organize his book shelf. "Lena?" She hummed not noticing him lick his lips as he checked her rear out. "The next mission.. I don't think it requires you. Why don't you stay behind with me?" Doflamingo had planned on asking for her hand that night. He told Rosinante the day before for his brother's opinion. Rosinante not wanting to draw suspicion told him to go for it. "I really would Doflamingo, but I promised señor pink I'd go. He's going through something." She lied perfectly. Everything about her was perfect. Rosinante was deeply in love with her. Once she finished, she walked off to her room. Rosinante followed her wanting to talk to her about the plan. Once he entered he locked her door and set a bubble around her so they could talk. "I keep forgetting about your devil fruit corazon." He shrugged before telling her about the plan. "So tonight essentially I die?" He nodded, "Yes Lena, I'll take you back to your original home and you could live there once again-" "Do you promise you'll visit me?"He stopped looking in shock as she blushed slightly. "Rosi do you promise you'll visit me? You were my..well you were the only reason this whole thing was easy..and I'm not ready to let you go..so please visit me." He looked at her before laughing and showing her a genuine smile. "Yes Lena I will...you remember the signal?" She nodded excitedly, "Yes I'll wait for you!" She hugged him tightly. Well as much as she could he was very tall. Rosinante leaned down taking her scent in not wanting this moment to end.

Doflamingo had taken the 'death' of Lena hard. He had locked himself in his room for weeks. Rosinante had never been happier knowing Lena was safe and his secret of visiting her every Saturday. One night, three months after, he had gone to go for his annual visit. Shining his light exactly three times, he sat tapping his foot impatiently wanting her to appear. His plans had begun coming to an end and he wanted Lena to be with him afterwards. "Rosi!" He helped her on board laughing as she almost fell. He put a bubble around them so no one around could hear. "Lena you don't have to be so excited every Saturday I come.." She shook her head, "I will always be excited to see you Rosi...." Rosinante smiled before bending down to her height, "Well how would you feel if I took you away? If we moved to small cottage, a river nearby so you could swim...if every night it was just us and these visits would be everyday...I'd wake up with you and- Sorry I got carried away there-" "No Rosinante please keep going..please." She held his hand trying to keep her tears at bay. "Please Rosi..." He sighed tightening his grip. "I'd wake up with you everyday..I'd hold you close every night and I'd whisper my love for you everyday until our last breath and I'd make sure I'd go first before you I can't imagine a moment without you in my life-" Lena cut him off pressing her lips tightly against his sobbing, "Please Rosinante take me away with you...I don't want these late night visits every Saturday I want what you just described ..please.." He hugged her tightly shushing her as she cried. "I'm so tired of being alone..everyone here looks at me weirdly after knowing what I've done...your the only one who doesn't treat me differently Rosi..I want to be with you.." He laughed crying with her. "Lena I promise I will get you that life...I will be with you and love you until my dying breath..I'm almost done here once I am I will come signal my flashlight and take you away..we'll have to be in hiding for a while but-" "As long as I'm with you I don't care!" She hugged him tightly as he laughed. "Rosi I want you to mark me...as a sea witch it shows I don't need anyone else it ties you too me please mark me!" He grew red in the face before nodding, "Alright Lena you are mine and I am yours.." She nodded before locking their lips together. They made love that night. A month later, he had gone to visit her on their usual Saturday meeting. "Lena, my love you almost always fall." "And your always on fire Rosi...." He laughed before stopping seeing her have a nervous look. "Lena is everything alright?-" "I'm pregnant!" She covered her mouth in shock. "I had a plan to ease that onto you and everything Oh my god..." She stopped before looking up hearing him sniffle. "Lena do you promise to wait for me? I want this baby in our cottage with us..." Lena looked up throwing herself into his hold. "Rosi I want that more than anything...I can't wait to leave with you.. I love you.." He spent the night relaying his love to her begging for the heavens to give them a happy ending.

"Lena she's beautiful..." Rosinante tried not to cry but couldn't help some tears looking at the baby girl in his arms. Lena had told him her due date and brought him underwater when the time came. She gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. "I know Rosi....I'm so tired.." He nodded not even paying much attention to her. The only thing on his mind was the bundle in his arm. "Rosi I know you have to leave soon but can you stay here for a bit and watch her just so I can sleep?" He nodded quickly wanting his daughter in his arms for a while. "Yes my love I'll stay here for a bit longer. You rest." She mumbled thanks before falling into a deep slumber. Rosinante laughed seeing the baby girl grab his thumb fussing slightly. "I never thought I'd ever meet you...You are absolutely gorgeous.." He smiled as the baby yawned. "Rosi I can't exactly sleep when I hear you mumbling to our daughter." He laughed, "Lena you've made me the happiest man..." She laughed sitting up, "With your looks Rosi and my looks, boys are gonna be all over her." He shook his head scowling, "I refuse I'll kill any man or boy that comes near her.." She laughed before asking for the baby. "So how long till we can leave Rosi.." He sighed telling her about this new boy that joined who had tried to kill him. "I need to help him Lena. He doesn't think he deserves to live." Lena grabbed his hand cradling the baby in the other, "As much as this family needs you, that boy seems to need you too. Rosinante save him and after when we get our cottage bring him..I think it'd be nice for Y/N to have an older brother figure." Roseanne laughed so happy and content. "Yes I will Lena..wait did you just say Y/N?" She nodded, "It's a beautiful name isn't it?" He laughed nodding, "Yes it is..Y/N our daughter. She has a bright future with us." Lena nodded, "So what's the boy's name?" "It's Law I'll bring him by once I kidnap him." She laughed at his words, "Be careful Rosi...I'll see you soon." He nodded giving her a goodbye kiss and held his daughter one last time. "I'll come back for your mom and you, Y/N."

The next week Rosinante and Law set off. Law being dragged against his will. "Corazon I already know no one will help us! Take me back! Where are we going?" Corazon sighed before smacking his head. "Stop yelling..Law you can't say anything about where we're going." Law titled his head in confusion, "I'm gonna cure you Law and then after if you'd like I want you to join me and well my wife.." "YOU HAVE A WIFE!?" Corazon laughed before nodding, "Your gonna meet her, she knows medicine and maybe she can help you so be respectful. If not then I'll take you to a doctor. A doctor somewhere is gonna help you." Law stared in shock before shaking it off seeing Corazon shine his light three times. Lena popped out excitedly before gasping see Law, "YOU MUST BE LAW!!" She threw herself onto the boat hugging him excitedly. Corazon laughed as she passed him Y/N. "This is my daughter. That's my wife..Lena." Law's eyes widened hearing Lena's name. Baby 5 told him all about her, Doflamingo had been in love with her but she 'died'. Law gasped as she handed him the baby, "Rosi tells me you use to be a doctor's son..I think you could hold her.." "Wait if you know about me then-" "Your not contagious Law don't worry..Look she likes you.." The baby grabbed his pinky smiling. "Rosi...I see the patches but no medicine or magic I have can help...." Rosinante sighed before seeing Law look at the baby in his arms eyes wide with amazement. "Okay give me my daughter Law, you've held her long enough." "You will get her all the time once you leave, just let me hold her for a bit baka." Rosinante glared before smiling hearing Y/N laugh. "Okay Lena we have to go now..." She sighed saddened by not being able to go with them, "I know..Rosi come back to us safely okay? And Law he's a clumsy idiot so you have good luck I can't wait to see you again when your cured." He glared at her as she took Y/N back. "You'll see her again Law..Until later my love.." Rosinante sighed content giving her kiss as Law gagged.

If you've been listening to this story and going along with it, then you know how this ends.. A few weeks after leaving Lena, Rosinante was murdered by Doflamingo after getting Law, the devil fruit to cure him. He made sure to last long enough for Law to sneak away without being seen by Doflamingo and his crew. They had found out about Rosinante's plan on betraying them. Rosinante's last words to Doflamingo haunted Doffy for years to come. Lena was alive and they had a child. Rosinante dying words were of how happy he was knowing Law and Y/N were safe from him. Doflamingo stormed angrily off as Rosinante died the way he wanted Law, Lena, and his beautiful daughter Y/N to remember him, with a smile. Lena never learned what had happened and she spent every day of the remainder of her life waiting every night for those three lights to shine, once Y/N grew old enough she taught her about the lights at night as well. Once four years passed, Malice had come and wanted the sea witches extinct except for Y/N, for she had the ability to use magic and was a fighter. His henchmen killed Lena. Lena died in agony hearing her daughter's screams for her and wishing Rosinante would come. Y/N grew not knowing how loved she truly was...but that's alright, because exactly 4 years later she left and met a certain green haired boy in a forest. What had happened between Malice and her is yet to be revealed for that is for another time. For now though, Y/N is loved by the people who will always be there for her.
