Ten POV two days later:
I woke up and then got out of me and Johnny's shared bed.
I looked to the side to see johnny left already. I sighed and then
fixed the bed. I changed into a silk shirt with white baggy jeans then made myself lunch.
I called up Kun-
Kun: hello?
Ten: Ge can you come and pick me up?
Kun: yeah about that I've been outside your house for 23 minutes.
Ten: ...why?
Kun: don't ask just...just I'd recommend getting into the car..
Ten: ..o-ok ge.. I'm coming..
I left the house while locking the doors and got into the passenger seat.
Ten: Kun whats going on?
Kun: I was told not to say anything until we get to the building, sir
Ten: sir? SIR? Kun Ge, I told you not to call me that it doesn't make me comfortable.
He handed me a note saying
"Shush, stop talking they can hear us"
I panicked while looking at Kun. His eyes were fixed on the road.
I looked at my hand and starting fiddling with my engagement ring.
I started inhaling and exhaling slowly quietly. My beat was beating so fast
I had absolutely no clue what was happening.
We arrived at the building and as I was about to enter the
building Kun grabbed my hand and looked at me.
Ten: ...y-yes ge?
Kun: Ten... just don't argue with them..
Ten: them?
Kun: ..I'm not allowed to say their gender...
Ten: ..Kun ge I'll trust you... I know you wouldn't hurt me and I'll trust that this isn't a set up...
I hugged him and then walked inside. I looked
back and realized he wasn't following me.
I went up to the front desk and called up YangYang.
Ten: YangYang!!
I looked around but he wasn't in his seat.
"If he had today off he'd tell me..."
I sighed and then saw Hendery coming out of the elevator.
Ten: Hendery! Can you hand me a keycard!
Hendery walked over to me and handed me one.
Hendery: I don't see why you just have one?
Ten: because I'm to afraid of loosing it. Ah! Also by the way do you-
Hendery widened his eyes and then he smiled awkwardly towards me.
Hendery: ge... I think you should head upstairs now!
Ten: ...you're acting weird as well... whats going on?
Hendery: nothing!
I sighed and then entered the elevator. I pressed on the top floor
and lightly tapped my foot on the floor waiting to arrive to my office.
I all of a sudden smiled. "What if Johnny got Xanchai early!" I hope he did...
usually he'd leave early but would always leave a note. No note today so maybe...?
I got my hopes up way to high.
The door opened and the floor was filled with people wearing
suits all facing different directions talking to each other.
I was confused. What the hell was going on? Who the hell
are these people who invited them?
I walked out and started walking to my office trying to
look neutral while glancing at all these people.
I inserted the keycard into my doorknob and it made a small
Beep sound. I opened the door to YangYang yelling at two women.
I stood there for a sec but then heard him yell.
"Get the fuck out! You have no right to be in here without Ten's permission!"
"I can do whatever the fuck I want you bitch he's my son!"
I opened my mouth and said.
Ten: ...mom? Auntie?
Everyone faced me and my mother smiled with her arms wide open.
Ms.Lee: Hello son~
I made a disgusted face and made
a fist digging my nails into my skin slowly.
Ten: don't son me..
Ms.Lee: oh Ten I've missed-
Ten: don't tell me that shit ,mom.
Ms.Lee: oh but its true!
I walked fully into the room and closed the door behind me.
Ten: no it isn't, if you really missed me.. where have you been?
Ms.Lee: I've been tra-
Ten: stop... is it more important than your son? Is it more important
than your own husbands funeral? Is it more important than my birthdays?
Is it more important than me becoming CEO? Mom you haven't texted me in
years or bothered to call me.
I glared at her and said.
Ten: Where.have.you.been.
Auntie Lee: shes been with me traveling-
Ten: ah really? Without phones?
Auntie Lee: No?
Ten: really.. you've been off for years.. no surprise you're still the same.
Ms.Lee: Ten Lee apologize this instant!
Ten: why should I apologize for something you did? That makes no sense.
I walked over to my desk shooing away my mother and auntie.
The door opened and I looked up to see Johnny.
I smiled and his smile dropped when he looked around.
Johnny: ah hi Ten... Mrs.Lee and Ms.Lee.
The two ugly ashy ass ladies eye's widened and then said.
Ms.Lee: Suh?
Mrs.Lee: Johnny?
Johnny: No? Shit?
He approached me and then stood on the left side of my desk. He
leaned on the desk with his hand supporting him and he asked
while raising an eyebrow.
Johnny: why are you two here?
Ms.Lee: I don't see how it's your business? What are you doing here?
Johnny: I'm visiting my fiancé?
Sadly we haven't publicly announced we're dating to the world
since we're still known as rivals. or stuff like that? It could get us fired.
Mrs.Lee: your what?
I froze and wanted to slap the handsomeness
off of my tall fiancé, which is impossible to do.
I sighed and smiled.
Ten: m-my fiancé.. we're engaged mom...
Mrs.Lee: .. to a Suh?
Ten: yes to a Suh...
Ms.Lee: unacceptable
YangYang: who are you to say your opinion, nobody asked?
Ms.Lee: nobody had to, I'm his mother, he's my son.
YangYang: ....ok and? Who the fuck cares?
Ms.Lee: Tennie is this how you're letting your friends talk to me?
I sat there silently and nodding at YangYang, giving him permission to continue.
YangYang: uhm clearly he dont give one fuck, I'm asking you to leave before I call security.
Ms.Lee: you can't call security on me!
YangYang: wanna bet BOOMER?
Mrs.Lee: ....s-sis what does that mean-
YangYang: exactly my point-
Ten: OK you know what YangYang and Johnny, out please I'll call you both in later.
The two left and the two wrinkly ass ladies sat down.
Ten: why are you here?
Ms.Lee: you're too young to be running this company.
Ten: and you're BOTH too old to run this company, and I'm 27, that isn't young?
Mrs.Lee: your father started running the company when he was 35!
Ten: 8 year difference, shouldn't matter?
Ms.Lee: what we're trying to say is that we're going to be taking over the company!
Ten: EXCUSE ME?!
Mrs.Lee: isn't that great! You get the rest of your life to yourself for the next 8 years!
I slammed my hands on the table.
Ten: UNACCEPTABLE! GET OUT!
Ms.Lee: oh no I think you should...
Ten: why's that?! I'm the CEO, SECUR-
Mrs. Not sure you'd like us spreading the fact you're gay and you're engaged to Suh Johnny plus adopting a 7 month old child name Xanchai, now would you?
I glared at them.
Ten: where did you get the last piece of information?
I looked down to the left of my desk and saw one of the drawers open.
Ten: YOU LOOKED THROUGH MY FILES!
Ms.Lee: we were clearing your stuff out and stumbled on that... now are you going to leave or not?
I got up and walked out the door and slamming it once I was completely outside.
I angrily walked outside to the car and called up Kun.
Ten: Kun what the fuck?
Kun: Ten I couldn't say anything!
Ten: why not?!
Kun: They told me if I didn't they'd take away your building!
Ten: what do you mean, they JUST DID?
Kun: No like they'd cut you off from becoming CEO, like forever.
Ten: Kun come pick me up in the parking garage please?
Kun: I'll be over soon...
I hung up the phone and then sighed.
??: Hon, whats going on?
I turned around and sighed again. I ran into his arms and buried
my head into his chest while tightly holding his hand.
Johnny: darling whats wrong?
Ten: ...you have work!
I broke the hug and patted his shirt.
Ten: get to work...
Johnny: no nicknames today?
Ten: just not now... I'll tell you why when we get home tonight and eating dinner.
Johnny: you're scaring me.. If you want to break up just say it now don't have me wait!
Ten: john shush... I'm not breaking up with you, I love you a lot... I promise I'm not, just go
to work and we'll talk about this at the house ok?
He nodded and kissed my head then walked away to his car.
Kun's car pulled his shortly after he left and I got inside.
I wonder how long this will last...
