Traveller's Pov
"Enemies attacking!" yelled Jean as she readied her sword.
"Brace yourselves." Ordered Venti as he readied his bow.
I watched as hilichurl guards and mitachurls jumped from the surrounding cliffs.
"We should be making our way in after defeating the minions." Replied Diluc.
Hilichurls charged at us, I readied my sword.
"Windblade!" I yelled as the attack sent the hilichurls in the air.
"Be Gone!" I screamed as I let the wind swirl the group of hilichurls in the air.
We ran towards the strong winds.
I saw a tower in the distance among the windy grass.
"Look over there!" I pointed at the structure.
"Aha! That is Dvalin's nest! Also his temple that was built for him." Replied Venti.
"Such stong winds up here." I commented as the cold, freezing icy gust of wind hitted our backs.
"We need to clear the stormy winds around that tower." Realized Venti.
"How?" I asked, shivering.
"Look." Pointed Venti as I followed where he's pointing.
Ther were strange floating, triangular prisms.
"The scattered energy light, can disperse the stormy winds around the temple." Explained Venti.
"Shouldn't we come up with a plan?" I asked.
"There is no going back now, we'll just have to handle them one by one." Replied Diluc.
"Yeah, we should split up and meet at the temple after the winds have dispersed, and then free Dvalin." Replied Venti.
"Sounds like a plan." Nodded Jean.
I followed Venti, and watched as Jean followed Diluc.
"Looks like you have something else on your mind." Noticed Venti, glancing at me.
"Oh, it's nothing." I shrugged.
"You can tell me anything." Smiled Venti.
"Well, it's just so hard to explain that one feeling where you think you like someone but you're not sure." I replied honestly.
"Oooh. Whose that special someone?!" Asked Venti.
I didn't reply.
"Can't wait to continue this discussion after we free Dvalin." Smirked Venti.
"I hope we make it out alive." I replied worriedly as I glanced at the stormy skies.
"Don't worry, we will." Replied Venti, giving me a reassuring pat on the back.
That afternoon
I fought the tenth hilichurl, and sent it flying into the wall.
Suddenly a loud crash echoed from the other side.
"What the?" I asked.
Gear twisting sounds, and a mechanical growl sounded beside me.
I turned around to find a huge, wooden robot standing there, about to attack me.
"That's a ruin guard! Watch out!" Yelled Diluc as he raced ahead and drove his claymore into the Ruin guard.
"Dissappear!" I yelled at the ruin guard as I sent a cycling twister at it.
The wind destroyed some of its gears but it still remained standing.
"Its gonna spin its arms soon!" Yelled Venti.
"Duck!" Yelled Jean as the ruin guard began twisting its arms.
I bolted away from the incoming, twisting long wooden hands.
"Where did that thing come from?" I asked.
"From the Abyss Order." Replied Diluc as he wielded his pyro vision and striked Ruin guard.
"Aim for the orange core!" Ordered Jean.
"Got it!" I yelled in reply as I sent another wind, channeling towards the glowing core.
"That must be its eye and brain!" I realized.
"You got that right!" Called Venti as he aimed his bow at the ruin guard at a distance.
After several strikes, the Ruin guard made a deafening growl, and collapsed into a pile of gears and something round rolled out.
"What is that?" I asked, pointing at that object with my sword.
"Chaos device." Answered Diluc.
"Does anyone wanna take it?" I asked.
"You can take it," Replied Diluc.
"Same. Just take it Y/N." Shrugged Jean.
"Yeah, might come handy later on for crafts." Agreed Venti.
"Thanks guys." I replied.
I took the two golden triangular crystals and placed them at the center, the blue crystal.
"Hey look, the strong currents around the temple are dissappearing!" Pointed Venti.
"Once remove all three wind currents around the temple, we can confront Stormterror." Replied Diluc.
"I'll go look for the crystals." I decided.
"We'll help you clear the monsters." Nodded Diluc.
"Good luck Y/N!" Winked Venti.

Diluc grabbed my hand to help hoist me up right as I was about to slip on the last step.
"Thank you." I breathed.
"Anytime." He replied and led me towards the blue crystal.
"Do we summon him now?" I asked.

"Yes." Replied Venti.
We closed our eyes and placed our hands on the blue crystal inside the temple.
Suddenly the wind below and above us sped up.
As if the wind currents have appeared in one place, it sent us flying into the air.
I looked at the portal-like floor below us that faded into empty space.
Before I can grasp onto something, I was already free falling into the empty space.
"Dvalin!" Yelled Venti.
"You again!" Growled the dragon.
"Look! The purple crystal blood clots on his back!" Pointd Venti as he aimed his bow on one of the crystals, to try to remove them.
Dvalin snarled and flew into the air.
"Dvalin come back!" Yelled Venti.
"We have to follow him!" Ordered Diluc.
Without thinking, I went after the dragon.
"Y/N!" They all yelled.
"Be careful!" Called Venti.
"Dodge the attacks!" Yelled Diluc.
