Chapter 18: Awakening

Arash grunted as he slowly woke up still dizzy from what happened on his birthday ball, he looked around realizing he wasn't in the royal building and that he was in what it looked like a dungeon or something, he was also shirtless and just wearing some metallic boots and black pants with some kind of red fabric around his waist.
The King tried to move but he felt something in his arms and realized that his arms were surrounded with a chain with little blades placed in different ways that could cut his arms if he tried to move, he also noticed that he was kneeling over water.
"What the hell?" – Said Arash
"I wouldn't move if I were you" – said guy in the corner of the room he looked like one of the Hassansins but different, he had tattoos all over his body that made him look like a skeleton or a zombie instead of using war paint like the others
"I wouldn't need to move" – said Arash trying to activate his powers only to get a burning pain going through him as the water around him glowed making the guy that was watching him laugh at his attempt
"I wouldn't do that either" – added the guy
"Who the fuck are you anyway?" – Asked Arash mad
"Just call me Zal" – said the guy with a smirk – "you know you are kinda hot, if you weren't on the other side of the field..." – he trailed
"Come closer I can show you how hot I am" – teased Arash
"You think I'm that dumb?" – Asked Zal laughing at the King – "I'm not one of the Hassansins and I'm not dumb like them" – he said with a smirk
"Whatever you guys want you will not get it" – said Arash
"I think we already did, we have you after all" – teased Zal
"You can't keep me too long" – said Arash
"To me it seems like you are trapped pretty good here False King" – said Zal
"Why everyone keeps calling me like that?" – Asked Arash mad
"Because that is what you are" – said Aunty Zahra entering the room – "you are not the real King we all should serve" – she explained while walking slowly until the was in front of Arash – "you can go" – she ordered to Zal who walked away from the room
"Then who do you want to serve? Yourself? Your husband? You two are not worthy to rule and never will" – taunted Arash
"We serve only one King and he is call The Dahaka" – said Zahra
"Who the fuck is that?" – Asked Arash confused
"You know him" – said Zahra walking around Arash
"I don't know what are you talking about" – said Arash
"You know exactly what I am talking about" – said Zahra – "you have seen it..." – she trailed – "...there is painting, it was done by someone who saw it centuries ago, there is a rumor it was maybe one of its hosts, that is why the name actual name is scratched just like who painted" – she explained
"What are you talking about?" – Asked Arash sounding irritated but he was actually curious about where this was going
"The Dahaka is also referred as the Guardian of Time" – stated Zahra making the teen look at her surprised realizing about what she was talking about – "ah...there it is" – she said followed by a condescending giggle – "so you know what I am talking about" – she added
"No wonder a witch like you knows something about that disturbing painting, but you are meant to tell me that thing is real?" – Said Arash
"Very real, you should know better than anybody how real it is" – said Zahra
"Why?" – Asked Arash
"Because you are its current host" – said Zahra
"What?" – Asked Arash surprised – "wait no...that is...that is not real...is impossible" – he stuttered nervously while Zahra laughed at him
"How do you think I know so much about how to stop you and your ring?" – Asked Farah – "is because all your powers come from him" – she answered
"No...my powers come from my family ring, that is how....is impossible" – said Arash
"Your energy control and healing abilities comes from your family, but the time control comes from The Dahaka and you are very powerful because of him" – explained Zahra – "if it wasn't for him you only would be half as powerful as you are" – she added
"That's impossible" – said Arash
"But it is possible my dear" – said Zahra – "and you woke him up, you did something that bring him back and not only that you made him even more powerful than he already was" – she explained
"I..." – trailed Arash thinking about what could have he done remembered fighting Thanos and how the Infinity Stones made his ring act up, then the Time Heist and then him using the Infinity Gauntlet created by Tony, Bruce and Rocket, The Dahaka felt the powers of the stones which made him act up and try to take over, the increment of his powers, the premotions ability and the rewind power, it might have been The Dahaka...then he remembered something else... – "The voice..." – he whispered
"The Dahaka have communicate with you?" – Asked Zahra as she could hear what the boy tried to whisper – "that's good, it means that he is more in the surface" – she added without waiting for an answer as she already knew it seeing the look on the King's face
"But...how...how he became part of my-" – trailed Arash
"That is not important" – interrupted Zarah – "the important thing is that we need to set him free so he can rule as the rightful King" – she explained
"No, you can't free him and I will not let you do it" – said Arash
"You can't do anything to avoid it dear, it's meant to happened" – said Zahra
"And what are you going to do? Kill me to let him out?" – Asked Arash
"You are not very smart aren't you?" – Asked Zahra – "you are the host dear and therefore you can't die because you are gonna be his body" – she explained – "we just need to summon him with someone of your royal lineage saying the words that will bring him to us" – she added making Arash laugh in a condescending way now to her
"If you even think I will do that you are very mistaken" – stated Arash – "you can torture me all you want but I will not do such thing" – he added with a smirk
"Oh, I'm sorry, did you think I meant you when I told you that?" – Asked Zahra in a mocking way – "that someone of the royal lineage it doesn't have to be you" – she said smirking at the King
"Well you will not get help from anybody of my family and if you try anything to any of them, I will end you" – treated Arash
"I don't need to treat anybody of your family for that" – said Zahra before turning at the door where General Klompa walked inside followed by Nizam right behind him
"Of course is you, fuck you Nizam!" – Yelled Arash but then he grunted when he hurt himself as he moved suddenly as if trying to get away to get his great uncle without not use
"You should have died when that thing got to you and when you "save us all" or whatever, but here you are still on the throne and still not worthy of it" – said Nizam – "and if you don't listen to me, that thing will, I will get what should have been mine a long time ago" – he added
"Of course you want the throne you envious asshole" – said Arash spitting his way
"There is a way to shut him up?" – Asked Nizam
"While we do the ritual he will be quiet in pain so I doubt he have the energy to even speak" – said Zahra
"How did you manage to do all of this and work with them?" – Asked Arash
"Oh well let's just say that you shouldn't trust everybody that works for you" – said Nizam with a smirk – "with the right aim they could turn to the other side quickly" – he added
"Enough of this, let's do it" – said Klompa
Aunty Zahra took out the necklace with the golden stone she used before and took the same stance to balance it over one hand like a pendulum closing her eyes and chanting something in another language awakening Arash's powers hurting him as well with the water glowing under him, but that was quickly taken care by General Klompa who turned a switch and the water was drained through the ground under him, then Arash powers were surrounding him but making him grunt in pain.
"No...stop...please" – complained Arash between grunts
"Now?" – asked Nizam to Zahra who couldn't answer as she was doing her own chant
"Now old man, move it" – ordered Klompa
"Just for the record I don't take orders from you or anyone" – said Nizam before he moved to stand in front of the King
"Don't...do...it...please..." – pleaded Arash still between grunts
"Didn't you just heard? I don't take orders" – said Nizam with a smirk before he took a piece of old looking paper from his pocked and unfold it

Legendary kings, gods of time, creatures of energy and power, you who control all this, I release your soul ... dahaka
When the man finished his words Arash screamed but it sounded like a more ethereal scream than just his voice, his body was surrounded with golden energy but it didn't expand like before it just go through his body shinning bright making him float from the floor until it stopped and his body turned all black, he was then back on the ground where he was kneeling.
The blades chains disintegrated from his right arm and just half of it disintegrated from his left arm setting him free from the wall but the other part remained attached to his arm, then his ring shinned and disintegrate merging inside his skin making the scar on his arm move going through his chest, neck and face and even extending to brush some on his right arm and waist, his black hair was moving like it was flames, the creature slowly stood from the floor and opened its glowing golden eyes staring at the people in front of him.
