I was going to do ena_joy's cover first but I need to get further into their book because I haven't really generated a proper idea yet (sorry! I hope you don't mind! I promise I'm getting to it, I just want to make sure I do your book justice).
About this cover: The request was pretty detailed and the pictures were a big help in figuring out what was desired :) I didn't use the actual ones because the angles didn't work. But I found a similar crown (after much searching) which I think is just as good if not better. Yay! I added a dagger that screams "siren" to me and looks like it could have been made of pearl (ish). After that, I spent waayyyy too much time layering the water, cutting the crown out from the background (that was a headache and it's actually two crowns pasted together), and adding all the coral shadows (that was fun!). Oh and if you look closely, I layered scales into the water behind the crown and dagger as another nod to the sirens ;)
With all the details and that (wretched but I love it) crown, the cover took me two hours so you need to read four chapters of my book and leave at least three comments per chapter.
