March 15th
Today is my first day at Riverdale High as a Junior. A blonde hair, ponytail, pretty, smart and stunning girl comes over to me.
Girl - Hi, I'm Betty. You must be the new girl, Laura? Right?
Laura - Yeah, that's me. Nice to meet you Betty.
Betty - Same to you Laura. Now, I'll show you around.
Laura - Thank you.
We walk and she talks. I like her, she seems sweet. Then we walk past a ginger, sexy, athlete. He winks at me and all I can do is blush.
Laura - Who's number 9?
Betty - Oh, my sister's boyfriend Jason Blossom. Don't think about it.
Laura - Oh ok...
Little does she know...
We continue our walk and she introduces me to her friends.
Betty - Guys this is Laura.
Everyone waves.
Betty - Laura this is Veronica
Veronica - You can call me Vee
She smiles and I smile back.
Betty - This is her boyfriend Archie
Archie - Nice to meet you.
He shakes my hand and I smile.
Betty - And finally, my boyfriend Jughead.
Jughead - I hope your into nerdy mysteries
Laura - Please, I am a nerdy mystery
Jughead - I like this one.
Everyone laughs
Girl - And who may this new girl be...
Betty - Cheryl, this is Laura.
Laura - Great, you're both here. My dad told me, you, Betty and Cheryl. Are cousins. Meaning from what you told me Betty, Jason and your sister are cousins. Might wanna break them up before an accident happens.
Cheryl - What the devil. No.
Laura - Don't believe me, Ask your daddy's best worker, my father.
Cheryl screams and Betty goes looking for her sister.
Jughead - Why are you starting stuff now?
Laura - I didn't know they hated each other. I was told by my father who was told by Mr Blossom and Mr Cooper to tell them.
Veronica - Why you though?
Laura - As always, I'm the bearer of bad news or news no one wants to hear. I'm the secret keeper, because I don't crack.
Jughead - That's a talent.
Laura - So does this mean Jason will be on the market?
Archie - Um, I guess, just go easy.
Laura - Sure thing. Now, where can I get a good feast after school?
Jughead - POP'S.... I mean Pop's has good burgers and milkshakes.
Laura - Great. I'm going to call my brother to come join... If that's ok?
Archie - Sure.
Veronica - I don't see a problem
Jughead - I mean, more the merrier I guess.
Laura - Thank you. You guys are nice, for a bunch of people I just met.
Jughead - Thank you, you're too kind.
