"Nice of you to join us today Ms. Walters" the Economics teacher, Mrs. Drake said
"Mmm" I rolled my eyes and sat at my seat. I noticed that it was two desks pushed together which means we're more than likely working on a partnered assignment.
"This Diana Drake class?" I heard at the door to see that Melly boy.
"You must be Jamell?" She asked and he nodded. "Sit by Taniyah in the back. Taniyah raise your hand"
Got me eternally fucked up. He can't sit back here.
"She's the last seat on the right side of the class" she said. "Alright class we're working on projects today's so whoever's beside you is your partner"
"Oh fuck nah" I said and she stopped talking.
"Excuse me?"
"Nothing"
I can't afford to be in trouble
"So take the rest of this class period to talk over your plans with your partner. When the bell rings grab a packet on the way out this assignment is due Wednesday so that gives you two days to complete this simple assignment"
"We working at yo house" I said
"Hell nah. We working at yours" he said
"Rock, paper, scissors on who house."
We did 3 rounds since we tied then he lost the last one.
"Be there by 7:30 or you working on your own" he said mad and shit

It was already 7 so I went and got dressed
"Where you going?" My dad asked and stopped
"Mrs. Drake dusty ass gave us a group project" I said
"Where you going?" He repeated
"I don't even know I'm waiting on my partner to send the address" I said and he nodded
"Girl or boy?"
"It's a bitch" I said
Technically I was telling the truth the nigga is a bitch.
"Watch yo fuckin mouth stop all that damn cussing and be back before 12 or you sleeping outside damn mutt." He said and walked off
I got in my car and drove to the address he sent.
"Oh lord this the ghetto" I said to myself and locked up my car and walked to the house knocking on the door
"Upstairs" he said as he opened the door. We walked to the attic and all I saw was album covers drawings and sound equipment.
"You sing?"
"Rap and poetry" he said simply pushing his papers to the side.
"Can you rap?"
"Which one you wanna do?" He asked and changed the subject
"We gone do this one" I said pointing to topic 3
"Nah we doin this one" he said and pointed at the last one.
"The fuck why you asked then"
"So you can feel like you had a choice" he shrugged
"But the third one is easier and simple" I said
"But the fifth one worth more points so even if we miss two we still get a good grade on it" he said
To be honest it was actually a good plan that way if we didn't know two or three we could skip it and still get a 80 or above on it.
"Fine we doing the last one" I said and we started working on it by the time we finished it was 1:30 in the morning and I was smoking weed since he said his parole wouldn't allow it.
Weed helps the mind so why not?
And the more I look at him the more this nigga look a lil fine but not fine you feel me? Like he cute as hell but his actions make him ugly
"If you wanna suck a lil dick just say that" he said and put the pencil down
"Get over yourself nigga" I said
"I'll smack the shit outta you" he mugged

"Erik need to go to the damn vet" I said causing him to laugh harder
"You can sleep on the bed I got the floor go back in the morning he normally leave around 5" he said and grabbed a pillow.
At like 3 in the morning his mom came in the room.
"JAMELL WHAT I SAID ABOUT BRING HOES IN MY HOUSE" she yelled from his room door
"Ma it's-"
He was cut off by her slapping him.
What type of shit is this lady on?
"You been shootin up?" He asked
"No" she said simply with her eyes halfway closed
"WHAT THE FUCK I TOLD YOU BOUT THAT DUMB SHIT" he yelled at her
"I told you I don't shoot no more" she said obviously lying
"Get the fuck out before Money come in here and see you lookin stupid" he said pushing her downstairs
"Where imma go?" She said and a tear fell
"I don't give a damn where you go but yo ass gotta step" he said and slammed the door. "Get yo shit and go home" he said and walked back up stairs
