~Third Person's POV~

Previously

"The production won't be held in New York."

"Where will it be held?"

"In London in England."

"What. . ."

After hearing the news Vanessa hadn't known what to do and it seemed as Michelle understood that so there was an option to be decided later on. Vanessa quickly called over her parents needing to talk to them considering they were obviously a big part of the decision but since some of her family is still at her place they went to Topanga's.

"Alright we're gathered here because. . .?" Shawn raised his eyebrows towards his daughter considering Vanessa had gathered all of them very early. "Yeah your grandmother was making pancakes and heating up some of the food from the party." Enrique agreed with Shawn thinking back to the food which Shawn looked back at as well while both their wives shared an annoyed look at their husband's actions.

"What's happening Reina?" Melissa asked her daughter with a small smile after her and Katy slapped their husbands behind their heads. "Something happened this morning when I went to the Matthews' place." Vanessa started off as she played with her fingers not sure on what to do since she never had to decide on anything like that.

"Are you okay?" Melissa quickly went to her daughter as the adults began to worry not knowing what may have happened. "Did you feel off?" Katy felt her forehead trying to see if she had a fever as Melissa sat Vanessa down.

"Are your headaches back?" Shawn moved over to his daughter wondering if that was what happened to her though he really hoped it was not. "Do we need to go to the hospital?" Enrique went to everyone taking out his phone as all of them surrounded the young teenager making sure if she was okay.

"No guys that's not it. I'm fine. It's something else." Vanessa shook her head sending them a small assuring smile knowing they still worry very much about that topic but after a while that situation got better and they didn't have to worry about it much. "Oh, then what happened?" Melissa furrowed her eyebrows after sharing a look with the others as they sat down.

"Well one thanks for the audience seating." Vanessa joked, gesturing how they were sitting as if there was a ceremony happening. "She gets that from you." Shawn commented to Melissa knowing Vanessa was covering a serious talk with a joke. "Yeah I didn't disagree with you the first time I'm not now." Melissa nodded agreeing with her daughter's father considering any time there would be a serious conversation she tried to crack a joke.

"Okay back to the topic at hand. I got a phone call." Vanessa shook her head going back to the point of them meeting up though she just grew nervous. "What was it about?" Enrique asked her seeing her a bit hesitant on telling them and it seemed that the others saw that too.

"It was about the series that I auditioned for a while back." Vanessa responded as she reminded them considering Maya informed all of them of the audition when Vanessa went. "You didn't get it?" Katy furrowed her eyebrows wondering how that would happen considering Vanessa was very good at her job.

"No actually the producer of the show called me saying I got the part." Vanessa answered her having her parents grow grins on their faces congratulating her. "That is what you wanted right?" Shawn asked her seeing the look that was painted on her face as did all of them which brought confusion.

"Yes. Absolutely and I still do. . .but there's a problem." Vanessa nodded since that role is very important to her ever since she read through her audition. "What's the problem?" Melissa asked her daughter wondering what could be the issue when Vanessa had gotten the role she wanted and seemed very passionate about.

"She told me the production is being held in England." Vanessa responded thinking back to the phone call as her parents stared at her in shock at the news. "You mean England like the United Kingdom England?" Shawn questioned in shock as he didn't know what to say on the topic and neither did the others.

"No. I mean the England in Arkansas. Sorry. Sarcasm is my only way to mask this. But yes the one in the United Kingdom." Vanessa raised her eyebrow throwing a sarcastic comment before apologizing to her father still being confused on what she should do. "Oh that's fine being best friends with your mother got me used to this." Shawn waved it off nodding over to Melissa after their daughter apologized.

"Would argue but you're right. But back to what you were saying." Melissa was about to argue with Shawn but she saw it useless so they turned back to their daughter. "Well, honey, what did you tell her?" Katy asked Vanessa seeing there had to be a choice to back or otherwise she wouldn't have gathered all of them together.

"I need more time to decide." Vanessa sighed as she remembered how quietly she responded back to Michelle over the phone. "Do you know what you want to do?" Enrique looked over to Vanessa who was playing with her fingers nervously and worryingly after he processed everything.

"I know I don't want to leave everyone.   .   . I know I want to do this series. But I don't want to change your guys' lives either." Vanessa shrugged as she thought what she wanted but she also had to be honest and mention what she thought that meant for the four of them. "Hey don't worry there's a Minkus-Santiago Industry office in England and I can easily transfer over there. I am one of the CEOs of the company of course." Enrique assured her as he sent her a small smile knowing a little weight could be lifted.

"And I can expand my company over to England too. I am the owner of the company.   .   . of course." Melissa held her daughter's hand with a smile after sending a smirk over to Enrique having Vanessa chuckle a bit along with Katy and Shawn. "I'm a photographer so I of course can always go over there and take pictures to send back to my boss." Shawn smiled over to his daughter after laughing over to Enrique.

"And I don't have any 'of course' but hey Maya and I can always go visit when we can." Katy patted Vanessa's hand assuring her with a small smile. "I haven't even told anyone else yet." Vanessa sighed covering her face with her hands, not being able to think of what to say to her friends and how they would take it.

"Star, you have to tell them." Shawn looked over to her knowing it was for the best and it was clear the other three adults agreed nodding along. "I know. I know. I just need to figure out a way to tell them and how to deal with this." Vanessa agreed seeing it was for the best but so many thoughts travelled her mind as Melissa's phone rang having her answer.

"Hey Panga. . . wow really? That's great! . . . Oh. . . I get it. . . Sure we'll see you then. . . Bye. Well it looks like you're not the only one with a decision to make." Melissa sighed after the phone call with one of her best friends before looking up to her daughter. "What do you mean?" Vanessa furrowed her eyebrows as she asked her mother looking towards her in confusion as did the other adults.

"Topanga got a job offer to run the office in London."

"Uh-oh. . ."

°°°°°°

The following day everyone was in class with not much excitement on their faces as they had heard the news about the Matthews family thought not having much happiness of the thought of them leaving Vanessa was glad that at the moment no one knew about her news.

Though no one knew Vanessa could tell her friends were getting suspicious of what she was hiding as they had pointed out her silence and lost in her thoughts.

"Hey Essa we're going to the ice cream shop later you want to come with us?" Sam looked over to her best friend after sharing a look with the boys, Smackle, and Grace seeing the girl just staring into space. "Hm?. . . not today. I have something to do, sorry but you guys have fun." Vanessa shook her head after feeling her cousin poking her with a pencil but she made sure to send them a small smile trying to assure them.

"I smell a fib." Jason commented looking over to his best friend knowing her very well and he knew if he didn't Vanessa wouldn't say it herself. "And I smell you dinner from last night. Take this you need it more." Vanessa turned to him, scrunching her nose as she passed him some gum, having him take it after smelling his own breath while the girls walked in.

"Wow, so much emotion. Why is everybody so emotional when nothing's happening?" Riley tried to deny what was happening seeing everyone stare at her with frowns before she went over to her seat. "Because it is happening, Riley." Farkle looked over to the Matthews girl admitting what was happening as their friends agreed.

"Why are you so sure?" Riley asked the genius as she looked over to him with confusion forming on her face. "Look at the board." Farkle responded to her seeing what he always wanted to learn but now the moment has turned bitter for the lesson as everyone had a feeling on what it meant.

"Belgium 1831. . . The Netherlands was a group of friendly states who thought they'd stay together forever. . ." Cory began the lesson having everyone's expressions to darken even more which no one thought was possible. "I don't think they thought that I think they'd hope it'd be true." Vanessa played with her pencil as she commented before looking over to Cory who nodded seeing what she meant.

"Belgium 1831 is us." Farkle took note of the board as he realized what that lesson really meant and now he wished they never really got to learning it. ". . .until Belgium made the decision it was time to go." Cory continued has the worry rise through every single one of them though they wished it wasn't so.

"Uh-oh! Smackle, do something!" Maya freaked out, turning to the genius girl as she did not wish to hear more of the subject. "What do I do?" Smackle turned to the blonde in confusion as she did not understand why she had to call over her.

"Ask important questions!" Maya exclaimed knowing how Cory does it while Vanessa and Riley just looked over to their best friend exclaiming. "He'd probably erase it if you ask an important question." Grace shrugged as she had taken observation of how Cory went on with the class and she thought that may be a way to help.

"Gotcha. Why are we here? What is the meaning of love? Is there a destiny that shapes our ends? What's the deal with artificial intelligence? If it's artificial, can it be intelligent? Yes." Smackle stood up quickly asking multiple questions before they all heard tons of noises outside the window. "The boys brought cows to the city!" Veronica and the other girls shouted over to Vanessa and Grace before rushing out the school.

"They're not intelligent." Vanessa and Grace shook their heads at the guys' actions as the rest of the students and their friends shared a confused look with each other. "It was decided that Belgium would no longer be part of the United Kingdom of the Netherlands, but its own independent country. Belgium was free." Cory shook his head trying to wave off what just happened though it seemed easy after everything they've gone through.

"Did people visit it?" Riley questioned her father with a frown trying to find a silver lining to the situation occurring in her life. "People like who?" Cory looked over to his daughter with a small smile.

"Belgium's friends. Did they visit it or did they forget her like Kerri Abelson?" Riley tried to find something to give her hope in the move her family would have to do. "What are you talkin' about? Kerri is- you know what I'm not telling you." Vanessa turned to her godsister in confusion as she was going to tell her but she stopped wanting to see where it was heading.

"What ever happened to Kerri?" Farkle nodded furrowing his eyebrows as he looked over to the girls considering Riley, Maya, and Vanessa were the only ones that knew who he was speaking about. "She moved across-" Riley tried to respond to Farkle who she was talking about though she wasn't given a chance.

"I don't care. She's gone." Farkle cut Riley off not really thinking much of the girl they used to know before when they were younger. "I-" Vanessa tried to say something but she really didn't know what to say though her worries did grow so she quickly looked back to the front of the class but Farkle and Jason realized her expression before they shared a look with each other.

"At that point, Belgium was no longer part of a group, but its own sovereign nation. . . ready to meet the world on its own terms." Cory went on after shaking his head as he looked over to everyone trying to show them what's to come. "What if it wasn't ready yet?" Riley asked her father not being able to help herself as her worries still showed.

"What if none of us are ready for this? I'm not ready for this, Riley." Lucas confessed having Riley turn to him realizing it would affect him too. "So, Belgium 1831 was gonna be about our own freedom when we left this place?" Farkle questioned Cory seeing what the meaning of the subject worked for their lives.

"That was my plan. But sometimes, things happen in life earlier than they're supposed to." Cory smiled sadly over to the genius before turning over to his desk. "So, what do we do?" Zay asked their teacher wanting to know how it'll play out for them.

"We do our best. Like we've always done. We leave our good mark and we hope that people remember us fondly." Cory answered him as he looked over to everyone hoping they took in his words. "What if you do your best and you don't think it made a difference?" Vanessa turned to him as she played with her hands trying to distract her from every decision she had to make.

"You just are going to have to trust that you're doing the best you can do." Cory responded to her with a small smile not knowing what more could be said be he knew they all had their challenges to go through. "Well that's terrifying." Sam commented not wanting to have to choose and it seemed Vanessa agreed with her best friend as well.

"I did my best. I hope that you remember me fondly." Riley turned to her friends trying to give them positivity but it was difficult for her. "I'll remember you fondly." Kerri raised her hand looking over to Riley who turned to her.

"Thank you. Who are you?" Riley grinned over to her before she asked her, having Vanessa shake her head waiting for Kerri to tell her. "Kerri Ableson." Kerri furrowed her eyebrows looking at her with full offense as Riley and Maya turned to one another along with their best friends.

"Oh no."

"How is a decision like this made? Is it tougher to leave something you love or stay when you could be missing an opportunity?" Cory asked everyone wanting them to see a chance to include their lives. "Well, that depends." Zay responded looking towards the teacher as he thought about what the possibility could be.

"On what, Mr. Babineaux?"

"What you're leaving behind."

"Anybody else?" Cory looked over to the class as they were all thinking of what could happen to all of them if there were to be a change. "To be fair, I think it's important to know what's waiting for you wherever you're going." Lucas responded as he thought about how his life changed once he moved to New York.

"Right. Lucas and Zay both left someplace that they loved. . . And so did Vee." Cory nodded over to the teenagers as both Lucas and Zay smiled thinking about what they found when they moved before he gestured over to Vanessa. "I moved from New York to Texas and from Texas to back to New York. I wouldn't have been who I am without that move. I wouldn't have my brothers without it." Vanessa saw what Cory was doing as she thought back to her memories.

As she mentioned her brothers Vanessa, Lucas, and Zay couldn't help but share a grin with one another as they looked back to their childhood memories.

"They were right to love Texas. We had the best time there." Riley looked over to them with a smile of her own remembering the memories they had that weekend. "Ah yes both Lucas and I were thrown off the bulls and me having to get stitches. . . best time." Vanessa nodded sarcastically as she looked over to her godsister and even though she had a great time going over there she had to make a joke though everyone seemed to get it as they shared a chuckle.

"And we've had the best time here." Lucas looked over to Riley as he gestured to Zay and himself having Zay to agree as well. "So Belgium left the United Kingdom of the Netherlands, then what happened?" Farkle summarized what Cory was explaining to them but he wanted to know himself what would happen.

"Everybody was happy forever. The end." Riley quickly answered as she was afraid of what could really be happening. "That's a fairytale ending, Riley." Grace shook her head as she looked over to the Matthews girl who sighed silently knowing she was right though she didn't want to believe it.

"Anybody else want to try?" Cory nodded over to Grace before he asked everyone though it was more specifically to the best friends. "The United Kingdom of the Netherlands fell completely apart." Maya responded to Cory as she saw what was happening to their world just as the thought of the Matthews leaving.

"Maya, you look something up?" Cory turned to the blonde in shock though he did see what she meant and so did everyone. "No. I didn't have to. You don't really have to be smart to know what's coming. It's Farkle who's been smart. It's Farkle who's wanted to know what Belgium 1831 was ever since it went up on the board. It's Farkle who's always loved us and tried to protect us." Maya shook her head to the adult before she looked over to the genius going over to kiss him on the cheek.

"Sorry, Vee." Maya looked over to her sister apologizing to her after Farkle froze fainting to the ground which wasn't something new. "It's fine." Vanessa chuckled over to her with a small wave as she knew neither meant nothing to it but as it happen about ten guys were outside the classroom looking over to Vanessa with grins.

"Yeah she said it was fine." Farkle stood up by the door as he slammed the door in their faces, having everyone laugh at his actions before he and Vanessa shared a quick kiss. "Riley, I know your mother. I know she'll seek out the advice of everyone close to her. I know she'll listen to what we have to say. And I know her decision will be the right one." Cory turned to his daughter explaining to her as he knew his wife.

"No matter what it is?" Riley asked her father with a small frown as she hoped they didn't have to leave everyone. "No matter what it is, we go with her." Cory shook his head knowing that whatever happens they would always stick together.

"Um, I have to go." Vanessa played with her hands trying to keep herself together as the class was only making her decision harder. "Are you okay? Where to?" Jason questioned his best friend seeing her nervously pick up her items going over to the front door class and luckily for her the guys were all gone.

"Yeah fine. I just have to go. I'll see you guys later."

Vanessa tried to assure them as she sent them small smiles but as she left her grin left with everyone sharing a look with one another.

°°°°°°

"Okay so why did you guys call me for. . . wow you really meant everyone." Vanessa questioned her sister as she walked in the Matthews' house before she noticed everyone, including her parents, Stuart and Harley, were there. "Big decision, and I wanted some advice. Who better to give us advice than. . . these people who've all loved each other forever?" Topanga nodded over to Vanessa as she explained to everyone but as she went to go sit down Eric took that as his que moonwalking over to Feeny.

"Fa-ha-fo. . . Fa-ha-hay. . . Fa-fa-fa. . . I'm not talking to you!" Eric tried to do the Feeny call to his old teacher but he really couldn't until he finally cracked while everyone enjoyed the show. "And I'm not talking to you." Feeny shook his head responding to Eric who he's known for a very long time.

"Fine."

"Double fine."

"I taught you that!" Eric pointed to Feeny as he reminded him with the two bickering with one another though it didn't shock anybody. "And I taught you everything else." Feeny crossed his arms glaring over to the oldest Matthews brother as he too reminded him of everything he ever learned.

"Then why don't I know anything?" Eric shouted over to his teacher wondering why he couldn't recall anything ever really. "Why did anyone allow him to be our Mayor?" Melissa questioned her best friends and husband as she pointed over to the older adult of them but all they could do was shrug not knowing how to answer that.

"Hey, Morgan. Hey, Morgan." Eric walked back to his place after Feeny shrugged and as he walked back he high five both Morgans. "My brothers! My sister! Joshua smiled over to his older siblings as it was the first time in a long time they were all together but Vanessa wasn't stopping as something came to her mind.

"So one Morgan became two Morgans and we're just going along with that without question? . . . Okay." Vanessa furrowed her eyebrows looking over to everyone but more towards the adults who shrugged with nods so she waved it off. "Yeah, you know, we haven't all been in the same place together for a long time." Cory nodded looking over to everyone that has impacted their lives.

"I don't think we've ever been in the same place together." Brunette Morgan looked over to her older brother as she pointed in out looking over to Morgan. "No." Blonde Morgan shook her head agreeing with Brunette Morgan as she looked over to everyone.

"Okay, we're gonna do this one at a time."

Topanga pointed over to everyone who agreed seeing what she meant so everyone went to the back of the apartment while Shawn, Katy, Melissa, and Enrique were up first.

"Alright, look, as much as I'd hate it if you guys went anywhere, when we left Philadelphia to come to New York, that worked. Especially cause we solved what we had." Shawn started looking over to Cory and Topanga before he gestured to Melissa, Enrique and himself. "I love being the solution to people's problems. Really don't know how I always get that pleasure." Vanessa smiled sarcastically looking over to her parents as she knew when it was solved she was born.

After her comment was out she sighed tiredly as Maya began to laugh seeing her annoyance but stopped once Vanessa sent her a look.

"You need a nap." Enrique patted Vanessa's shoulders as her parents agreed even so did she herself. "If we didn't do any of that, I never would have met Katy. We wouldn't have Maya." Shawn continued on as he looked over to his wife holding her hand with the two sharing a grin with one another before looking over to Maya.

"Oh, guys, I'm not actually your daughter though-" Maya tried to remind them as she sent Vanessa a confused expression though neither of the adults listened. "I'll never forget when we first saw you in the hospital delivery room." Katy went along with what Shawn was doing though this only brought confusion to the girls.

"If they're dreaming this reality then they're making it as if you're older than me." Maya furrowed her eyebrows as she turned to Vanessa seeing as the two weren't given in. "I'm okay with that!" Vanessa's confusion turned to an excited expression considering she would finally have an upper edge considering Maya always played the older card.

"No! I'm older." Maya quickly shook her head towards Vanessa knowing what she meant by it while everyone chuckled looking at the two. "Rewrite history in them then. I'm enjoying the seconds of me being older in their minds a bit." Vanessa shrugged with a small smirk but she knew she wouldn't be older soon.

"I'd really love to rewrite history but-" Maya turned to Shawn and her mother with a smile considering she didn't want to be younger. "History is history. First thing you have to know to teach History." Cory cut Maya off as he had an idea of what Shawn was planning to do but he really couldn't stop without a lesson.

"You know what I love? That history was one of your least favorite class and now you're a history teacher." Melissa looked over to her childhood best friend with a smirk playing on her lips thinking back to their middle school years. "You gotta love irony sometimes." Enrique chuckled a bit as Topanga and Shawn agreed with a laugh of their own.

"Matthews, as your former English teacher, I say let 'em write what they want to." John stood up from his spot as he went over to Cory with a head shake. "Hey, John." Shawn walked up to the man who was like a father figure to him ever since he was a young teenager. "Hey, Shawn." John smiled going over to him and the two have brought themselves in an embrace as everyone smiled towards the two.

"Hey, Shawn's wife. Boy, that makes me happy saying that. Hey, Shawn's wife!" John looked over to Katy with a large grin finally seeing who he's seen as a son with someone who makes him happy. "Hey. Thank you for everything you've done to help make Shawn who he is." Katy smiled over to John as she hugged Shawn's arm.

"Yeah. . . I'll never forget the time I saw him in that hospital delivery room. You want to know what else makes me happy? Saying you're Shawn's kid." John nodded over to Katy as he looked into the air before he looked over to Vanessa. "Aw. I may have not done anything in a year but that doesn't mean you're off the hook. The longer the time the bigger the crime." Vanessa looked over to him with a joyful expression but she reminded him.

"You mean prank right? 'Cause you still haven't gotten a lot of us." Cory questioned her with a nervous chuckle knowing the girl pretty well. "Well my godmother is a lawyer and my mom was a lawyer before. I know what I could do and it's limits." Vanessa turned to her godfather with a shrug as she had a small smirk.

"You're five one how are you this terrifying?" John turned to the young girl as he furrowed his eyebrows towards her. "Scary actions from my mother Melissa. Sneaky prankster brain from my father Shawn. Peacefulness comes from my father Enrique. And calmness comes from my mother Katy." Vanessa gestured to her parents as an explanation as to why she is the way she is.

"Makes sense." Melissa and Shawn shrugged to each other seeing what their daughter meant while their spouses laughed at their expressions. "Okay, crazy people. You can't just make life how you want it." Riley got them back to the topic in hand considering they went somewhere else but they still needed help.

"Yeah. Things happen. Like our decision that you guys are going to help us with. Us now!" Topanga agreed with her daughter, smiling over to Shawn and Katy before screaming to them, getting them to focus. "She's right. This has- this has nothing to do with us. Just gonna. . . leave that here." Shawn nodded over to her as he set an envelope in Maya's hand having both Maya and Vanessa see it.

"What- Hey! You want to adopt me?-Yay!- I don't know how I feel about this." Maya questioned before she saw what the files were but she stopped Riley from screaming. "Yay!" Vanessa and Maya turned to each other before looking back at the papers Shawn handed Maya while everyone smiled at the girls.

"You know, Maya, I talked with Shawn and your mom about this. I always regretted that I never adopted Shawn." John added in talking to the blonde gesturing Shawn who had grown a smile for John. "Well, you know, my parents tried to adopt Shawn, but he preferred to stay a street urchin." Cory stood up showing up beside John looking over to his best friend with a small joking smile.

"And look who was the one who got invited to all the parties?" Vanessa raised her eyebrows toward the older Matthews man who pouted going back to sit with his wife. "I know this is a difficult decision to make." Shawn looked back to Maya after holding in his laughter towards his best friend.

"I'll tell you what's a difficult decision: ours." Topanga smiled over to her Hunter friend trying to get back onto the topic. "Yeah, can you hold your little Topanga horses? Take all the time you need." Shawn looked over to Topanga trying to see what Maya would decide while Maya turned to Vanessa.

"Hey, you're my sister either way." Vanessa smiled with a small shrug as she explained that having the same or different surname wouldn't change the fact for her. "I'm Maya Hunter." Maya nodded over to her before looking back at the papers in front of her which she handed Vanessa while she went giving Shawn a hug bringing Katy in as well.

"Da- Dad- Daddy- Dad. . . Daddy. . . Hey, Dad?" Maya stuttered as she tried to speak before she smiled looking over to Shawn. "Yeah?" Shawn questioned not sure what she was going to say.

"I'm sorry."

"For what?"

"For everything I'm gonna do. Oh, and I'm going to London with them." Maya explained before she added in which Shawn nodded to seeing what she did while Vanessa handed Maya her files. "Well you guys aren't making it easy, are you?" Vanessa questioned her parents with a smile while Topanga shook her head as Vanessa's parents shrugged with smiles.

"I have to go somewhere. See you guys later." Vanessa sighed softly before going over to the door as she needed to make her decision. "Wait you're supposed to help us with our decision!" Topanga called out trying to remind the girl who was already out the door closing it as she leaned back.

"Yeah well you guys aren't helping mine."

°°°°°°

"Hey where were you?" Sam asked her best friend as Vanessa entered Topanga where everyone was. "Somewhere. What did I miss?" Vanessa smiled vaguely answering as she sat beside Farkle looking over to everyone grabbing some of the snacks in front of them.

"Well Smackle is getting great on hugging." Riley informed Vanessa as she nodded over to Smackle after her and Smackle hugged one another. "And I know how to tell emotions now." Smackle grinned so proud of herself considering those two things were something she struggled with so much since she was young.

"That's incredible, Isa, I'm proud of you." Vanessa looked over to the genius girl with a small smile knowing how important it was for her to improve her skills. "You are happy but tired!" Smackle pointed towards Vanessa as she tried to read her and she made sure to be keeping her score at one hundred percent.

"Yeah. One hundred percent right." Vanessa nodded towards her as she thought about all the trouble she was putting herself while Smackle cheered to herself. "What's going on? You've been kind of off today." Farkle furrowed his eyebrows seeing the stress Vanessa was in the entire day but she wasn't telling them.

"It's nothing." Vanessa shook her head with a small smile trying to push away anymore worries considering Riley's family still had to make a decision. "Yeah none of us believe that at all. Might as well tell us what's happening." Jason raised his eyebrow towards his best friend knowing her pretty well and so did they all.

"I- I have to take this." Vanessa tried to find something to say but she really couldn't and luckily she received a phone call which she took the chance to go to the other side of the café for. "Hello, Miss Vanessa. We wanted to know if you have a decision yet." Michelle greeted her before she asked her considering they needed her answer very soon.

"Um. . . not yet. I still have some things to sort out." Vanessa mumbled before she responded to the older lady considering she hasn't even involved everyone in what is happening. "I understand it's a difficult decision to make but we need to know if you'll be in for it." Michelle nodded as she could understand what Vanessa was going through but she also had to move along with her production.

"I understand. I'll make sure to get that answer for you soon." Vanessa sighed as she knew where she was coming from so after they settled something she hung up. "Answer for what?" Her friends questioned as they stood behind her making her jump a bit back considering she didn't hear them which was surprising considering they weren't the sneakiest people out there.

"Um. . . how about we sit down?" Vanessa trailed off before sitting them down in the seating area because as much as she didn't want to have them worry she had to tell them. "Why am I getting worried?" Grace questioned her cousin with everyone agreeing considering they don't often see that look on her face.

"I hope you don't." Vanessa mumbled as she looked over to all of them and saw their nervous expressions only making it harder for them. "Just tell us Vee we promise we won't overreact." Riley looked over to her best friend with a small smile not thinking anything worse than her moving could happen.

"There's a chance I may move to England." Vanessa quickly let out as she didn't know what she could say but she knew just blurting it out wasn't the best thing to do. "What?" They all shouted standing up in an instant staring at Vanessa in shock not being able to believe what she just told them.

"Well thanks for not overreacting." Vanessa sarcastically responded to them as she raised her eyebrows. "Wait, this is a joke right? This is because we lied to you about not sticking together in the first week of school." Maya questioned as she chuckled trying to make sense of what was happening and she thought back on what Vanessa told John earlier.

"We won't do it again just tell us it's a joke." Zay promised Vanessa as he quickly shook his head hoping what she was telling them a joke. "Guys sit down." Vanessa sighed, gesturing their seats having them slowly sit back down yet their nerves didn't settle whatsoever.

"No this isn't a joke. . . The audition I went to a while back went very well and they think I'm perfect for the part. It seems like a perfect role. . . But then the producer informed me they were having the production in England."

"What'd you tell them?" Lucas asked Vanessa after she was done explaining what she meant though this seemed to bring more worry to them. "I need time to decide whether I'll take the role or not." Vanessa answered with a soft expression seeing how they were processing everything but she also took notice how Farkle and Jason were barely moving.

"There's a decision on this too?" Maya questioned her sister with teary eyes seeing as there may be a chance she may lose her best friends and sister. "Yeah." Vanessa nodded answering her as she understood what she was feeling considering just a moment ago they began to share the same name with one another.

". . .I have to go." Farkle finally spoke after he was trying to say something helpful but he couldn't and he had to leave before he said something that probably wouldn't help Vanessa's decision. "Farkle." Vanessa frowned seeing him leave the café but she understood him too and knew he needed some time for himself.

"I hope you choose what you want." Jason responded before he too left the café having a hard time to accept he would lose his best friend who's always been by his side. "Jay." Vanessa sighed trying to call out for him but it was useless as he was already out of sight.

"Why are my eyes sweating?" Smackle questioned as she tried to bat her eyelids to get rid of the 'sweat'. "That's called crying." Zay turned to his girlfriend explaining to her what was happening.

"I don't like it!" Smackle quickly stood going over to the counter where she tried to grab some napkins and not show her tears. "I don't like it either!" Zay followed Smackle as he felt tears build up in his eyes but he didn't want to let them drop.

"If you move that means I have to move in with Thor and his parents. He's annoying enough to be sharing a school with let alone a house." Grace sighed moving over to the other table trying to avoid herself from feeling sadness towards her cousin moving. "Great not only am I saying goodbye to my best friend but my sister too." Maya frowned looking between Riley and Vanessa before going to the book section feeling herself starting to cry.

"Guys?" Vanessa asked the only three that were left trying to see if there was anything they would have to say. "Hey if you have to move we'll still have each other." Riley softly smiled trying to help Vanessa out as she doesn't have much hope on her family staying in New York.

"Whatever you decide we'll be behind you." Lucas assured her seeing that she didn't know what she was doing but just needed to hear something encouraging. "Thanks, Riles, Bubs." Vanessa smiled towards the two thanking them as she hugged the two before going over to sit beside Sam.

"Scream or cry?" Vanessa asked her best friend seeing as she had done or said nothing after she shoved them with the news. "I kind of want to do both. But Essa I'm telling you this as your best friend. Do what you want to do and wherever you go I know you can make it but just remember to as your best friend I'm not going to stop spamming your phone." Sam explained to her as she admitted she wanted to cry but she knew it wouldn't help at all.

"If I do leave and you don't spam me I swear I'll come back and take you with me." Vanessa shook her head with a small chuckle trying to hold in any tear that wanted to leave. "You better be promising that." Sam playfully glared towards Vanessa before the two brought each other into a hug as they didn't know what the future upholds.

"I'll go talk to Grace and make sure she doesn't plan to overtake Thor's room." Sam patted Vanessa's shoulder as they shared a smile before Sam went to Grace seeing her plan something while Vanessa looked over to her sister. "M?" Vanessa called out her sister as she sat beside her in one of the empty seats.

"You know I bet if I ask mom and dad they'll easily move us to England with you. I mean Shawn wouldn't want to be away from you." Maya looked over to Vanessa with a smile as her eyes turned red and puffy from the tears. "M, I don't think it'll be that easy." Vanessa shook her head though she really wasn't opposed to the idea the blonde came up with.

"It's a lot easier than losing you and Riley." Maya sighed as she knew her life would be completely different without either of them and she didn't want to see her life without them. "I know how you feel. I don't want to lose any of you but you have to remember I still have a choice to make. Nothing is decided." Vanessa tried to assure her seeing the worry all over on her face.

"And that's the terrifying thing, Vee. Not being sure of what you want is a terrifying thing. You're the only that has been by my side even when no one, even Riley, was there." Maya shook her head as she looked back to her life seeing how Vanessa was there for her when she needed her. "M, where I live will never change that. I'll still be there for you no matter what." Vanessa held her hand as she promised her knowing nothing would change between them.

Vanessa and Maya shared a smile with one another having tears slip down their faces as they hugged each other appreciating each other.

"You're my sister."

"And you're my sister."

°°°°°°

After speaking with everyone Vanessa walked into Farkle's place waiting a bit to give him some space but she knew they had to talk about it. As she went into his room Vanessa saw Farkle sitting on his bed just staring down on the ground holding a frame in his hands.

Sighing Vanessa gently closed the door before going over to Farkle's side sitting beside him.

The two made no sudden move or said anything just sitting there in silence in their own thoughts. It wasn't because they did not know what to say it was because the couple had feared if they began to speak they would never stop.

"This is one of my favorite pictures of us." Farkle sat up looking at the frame that had the picture of the two when they were at such a young age with Vanessa wearing a cape putting up a show having Farkle sit in front of her with a large grin. "Why so?" Vanessa turned to him as she asked him seeing the picture he meant wanting to know.

"Because you were doing something you love doing. I could practically see you glowing. And I was there supporting you." Farkle explained with a small smile looking over to Vanessa as he knew what he had to do. "And I'll support you." Vanessa nodded with the same grin playing on her lips as gave him her promise.

"I'll support you through everything you do anywhere you are." Farkle promised her as he set down the frame on his bed putting his full attention in their conversation. "Farkle I still haven't made my decision." Vanessa placed her hand on his as she shook her head as she still did not know what she would be doing.

"But have you put yourself and what you want first on this?" Farkle raised his eyebrow as he asked her knowing what Vanessa did when it came to decisions. "Farkle. . ." Vanessa sighed as she tried to look off seeing what Farkle was doing but she also knew she probably was not making the right choice.

"Vanessa this is something you love doing. You always encourage us to do what we love doing so that's what I'm going to do." Farkle held her hand as he lightly pinched her chin, turning her gaze to his face so they were eye to eye. "Being with you guys is something I love. Being with you. . ." Vanessa responded with a small voice knowing this was real, making the decision was something that would change her life.

"We're always here for you no matter what. And I've been in love with you since we were little. . . I know that the feeling will never leave. We've made it through so much I doubt either of us would give up that easy." Farkle shook his head as he reminded her how everyone was and always will be there. "I know we won't give up that easy. We're too stubborn." Vanessa softly smiled as she felt tears starting to sting her eyes which she tried to keep in.

"Absolutely. But you have to think of what you want first on this." Farkle agreed with a small grin playing on his lips trying to hold in his tears but it seemed so difficult. "I'll try to." Vanessa nodded promising him as she wiped some tears that slipped down her cheek before she glanced by the foot of Farkle's bed.

"Well the decision is still not a confirmed one but there is something I do have that you may like." Vanessa took a small breath as she tried to have a smile on her lips turning back to Farkle hoping to break the heavy moment for a while. "What do you mean?" Farkle furrowed his eyebrows looking towards Vanessa in confusion seeing her grabbing his guitar but he didn't really understand what she was planning to do.

"You aren't the only one to have a couple songs up their sleeves."

Vanessa smiled over to him as she fixed the guitar while Farkle may have had a joyful expression on his face but he still had confusion filling his mind before anything.

"Cuándo te vi, pensando que el amor no era para mí. Y terminé creyendo en lo que sentí. Y si quieres la verdad diré. Nunca te he podido olvidar," Vanessa began to sing looking over to Farkle who began to grow a smile of his own once again with the confusion being wiped away. "Truth is I hate how I feel when I watch you go. Pushing you away hopin' you're pulling me close. Drop a subtle hint that I wish that you'd let me know (Oh)"

"Tell me if you want it (Yeah, yeah, yeah). 'Cause if I'm being honest (Yeah, yeah, yeah). I don't want to waste my time. If you're not the lovin' kind (Yeah)" Vanessa sang, reminding them of the difficulties they had with love in general but having both see how much they have achieved. "Tell me if you want it (Yeah, yeah, yeah). 'Cause if I'm being honest (Yeah, yeah, yeah). I don't want to waste my time. If you're not the lovin' kind, yeah, yeah,"

"Porque para amar se necesitan dos y aquí solo estamos tú y yo. Aquí solo estamos tú y yo, eh. Porque para amar se necesitan dos y aquí solo estamos tú y yo. Aquí solo estamos tú y yo,"

"Now, don't cut your teeth, don't cut your teeth on me. If you ever leave (If you ever leave). Leave the better half right here with me, yeah. And if you keep on tellin' me I deserve better, I'll believe you,"

"Truth is I hate how I feel when I watch you go. Pushing you away hopin' you're pulling me close. Drop a subtle hint I wish that you'd let me know (Oh)."

"Tell me if you want it (Yeah, yeah, yeah). 'Cause if I'm being honest (Yeah, yeah, yeah). I don't want to waste my time. If you're not the lovin' kind (Yeah)"

Aquí solo estamos tú y yo. . ."

"Whoa, oh-oh. . . No, no, no, no, no. . . Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. . .No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. . ."

"Yeah" Vanessa finished with a small smile looking into his eyes trying to hold back any tears she could feel forming. "Well you are the better singer between the two of us." Farkle joked as Vanessa set the guitar yet the couple couldn't help but share a small laughter together.

The couple turned to one another just having a moment with one another before bringing each other in an embrace not certain of what the future may uphold for them.

"No matter what you choose to do I'll always love you." Farkle whispered to Vanessa as she laid her head on his shoulders just feeling some comfort in his embrace. "I'll always love you too." Vanessa kissed his cheek promising him as they leaned back on the bed just thinking about what's to come for them and that's how they were for some time.

"You know he hasn't shown up since we've left Topanga's."

"I know. Don't worry I know where he is."

After spending some time with Farkle Vanessa was walking through the streets in New York before walking down a similar street her and her best friend knew very well. Their friends didn't know about the park considering it was a little bit out of their usual spots but that's what made it special to the duo.

As she walked in the pretty vacant park Vanessa looked around before looking over to the bench seeing a figure knowing who exactly that was so with no second thought she went over to him.

Sitting beside him Vanessa sat beside Jason in silence looking over to the playground that they played on when they were younger. It was their favorite that was where the two felt at peace when they were younger.

"So I've done this already today, am I going to have to wait for you to talk first?" Vanessa questioned with a small smile trying to break the silence but she didn't know what else she could say. "Well it would be kind to let me talk first." Jason responded with a small nod as he glanced over to her knowing what she was doing but he couldn't bring himself to laugh.

"You want to know why this is my favorite park?" Jason looked over to his best friend as he raised his eyebrows hoping to move along as he didn't know what could happen. "'Cause this is the park Sam kissed you?" Vanessa suggested to him considering she remembered back to when they were little kids.

"Well yes and no. I will always remember that day but the reason this is my favorite park is because we always came here when we were little." Jason shook his head with a small smile as he could name every moment the two had gone to that exact park. "That's why it's my favorite too." Vanessa agreed as she looked over to the playground they always had amazing times in that place.

"But the other reason is because even when you lived in Texas and visited back here you always made time to hang out with me. It makes me realize that no matter where either of us are we are still going to be there for each other." Jason continued to explain as he looked back how their friendship never got lost when they were apart. "Jay, wherever either of us are won't change the fact that you'll always be my best friend no one and no place can change that." Vanessa turned back to him assuring how nothing between them will become different.

"And you'll always be mine. It's just the fear of losing you terrified me. All my life the only one that has always been by my side when I thought no one was you were there." Jason nodded as he knew she was right but he couldn't help but admit what worried him. "I get it but Jay I still don't know what I'm going to decide." Vanessa saw what he was talking about but she herself wasn't sure what would happen.

"What you're going to do is choose what you want to do. Put yourself first this time Wolfy and no matter what you choose we're going to be by your side through it all." Jason turned to her seriously as he placed his hand on her shoulder hoping she would listen. "Thanks, Jay." Vanessa smiled over to her best friend before bringing him in a hug which he gladly accepted.

"Hey you'll always be my Lydia." Jason assured her as he held up his pinky reminding her that their friendship would always be there. "And you'll always be my Scott." Vanessa locked her pinky with his pinky as the two shared a smile with one another before they heard a couple of shrieks come from across the street having the two realize what was going to happen.

"Ready to run?"

"Oh, been ready."

"Let's go!"

"Belgium 1831. What have you learned? Farkle?" The next day Cory gathered the friend group after Topanga had told them they were staying but he had one more lesson for them. "There comes a time when the right thing to do is to leave the friends you know, see what's out there, and face a new world." Farkle explained what had happened right in front of their eyes and he knew what the lesson for them was now.

"Yeah? What do you have to say about that?" Cory smiled, raising his eyebrows at the young genius knowing this was something he wanted to learn for a while. "Not yet." Farkle shook his head as he erased the lesson himself, having everyone smile seeing what has happen.

"I guess we're not making this any easier on you." Cory turned to Vanessa who was sitting on the desk beside her sister and best friend. "Oh only making it more difficult actually." Vanessa smiled with a head shake while everyone chuckled at her response but soon the front door was opened wide.

"You are leaving us!" Thor, Veronica and their whole friend group shouted at Vanessa in shock having everyone turn to them. "How does my decision concern either of you?" Vanessa furrowed her eyebrows as she didn't see why they would worry much on what she decided to do.

"You're going to make it so Grace and I have to live in the same house. I don't want that." Thor shook his head pointing over to Grace who crossed her arms at his comment. "Hey, I don't want to live with you either. If I had it my way I'd move with her or with Jessie." Grace glared at the older teenager as she wasn't really happy with the idea either.

"You can't leave us either, there are so many things we need you to do." Maddie pointed over to Vanessa as she still had some things to do. "Yeah and you're supposed to be helping us with the games coming up." Cole nodded as he agreed with the girl considering Vanessa was someone that was able to out scream the coach.

"Yeah. . . they are making the decision a bit easier."

"Hey!"

Later that night everyone was in the café meaning the group, their parents, Joshua, and Ava celebrating each other.

"There are lots of places you'll go. I remember another time we were all going someplace. And what I said to. . . you. . . seems like yesterday. You're gonna learn from it everyday." Cory smiled over to everyone before pointing over to his younger brother. "Gonna make mistakes. You're gonna make good friends, too." Shawn nodded in agreement smiling as well as he stood beside his best friend.

"And even though it'll seem like the world goes out of its way to teach you hard lessons. . ." Katy looked over to everyone as she understood herself what life had to offer. "It's the same world that gave you your friends and your family." Topanga grinned over to the teenagers who have gone through an emotion wave that week.

"You just have to remember that you all are stronger than you think." Melissa stood beside her daughter as she reminded them something she learned growing up. "Nothing will cross you when you realize your strengths." Enrique nodded over to the teenagers seeing how strong they were together.

"You'll come to believe the world is gonna protect you, too." Cory smiled to everyone as he recalled what he told his younger brother. ""Girl Meets World."" Riley looked into the air thinking of what her life had gone to. "Now I get it." Maya nodded over to her best friend as Vanessa chuckled at the two.

""Topanga's."" A random customer walked in the café looking over to Topanga with a happy expression. "Yeah. "Topanga's." That's me." Topanga smiled over to him as she was happy to hear her cafe's name.

"You still open?"

"Yeah. We're not going anywhere."

"So, after you've met the world for a while, the best thing that happens is to find out just where it is you belong. We did. Now's your turn." Cory continued looking over to the teenagers as the mothers went to have their time. "I have to take this." Vanessa's phone rang having everyone turn to her not knowing the outcome before she walked out.

"So do we have a decision?" Michelle asked Vanessa after they greeted one another considering now was the time for the decision. "Yeah, I do have one. . . " Vanessa nodded as she looked back to the café for a second before talking to Michelle.

"Let's see what happens." Jason looked over to his brother as they all waited for the news Vanessa may bring them. "The wait is annoying." Farkle sighed with everyone agreeing but they understood this was a big decision so they gathered around speaking to one another.

"What happened?" Maya asked her sister as soon as she walked in having everyone gather around them to see what would happen. "Well. . . I made my decision." Vanessa shook her head as she looked down at her phone trying to figure out her words.

"Does that change anything?" Riley questioned her as they were all nervous to hear what the choice was. "With all of us? No. . . it changes nothing." Vanessa raised her eyebrows with a smile as she shook her head having her friends and family share a cheer with one another.

"We're sticking together for quite some time. Time and distance has no effect on us. We still have to discover more of this world."

"All of us?"

"Always. Can't Discover this world alone."
