[ N Y L A H]
I sigh as I wake up and practically have to drag myself out of bed
I have a photoshoot today for vogue U.K. and I'm so excited
I love doing fun photo shoots like that where I really get to dress up
The thought of it gives me a little motivation to hop in the shower and get ready for the day
Seen as I'll be having my hair and makeup done for me at the shoot I just shove my hair up with a bulldog clip and just brush out my eyebrows, I don't bother with makeup
I get dressed into a sage green tie dye joggers and sweater set before I head out of my apartment for the shoot
Of course as per the paps are outside waiting for me
Lately there have been more and more paparazzi gathering and my followers on Instagram rising more quickly than usual with Harry's follower count rising too
I also got a message last night from my manager, Elaine to say that I had been accepted on an apartment in New York
I cant wait to finally fly out there and get it feeling like my second home and spending time there when I have jobs over there for NY Fashion week etc
Especially because lately I've been getting a lot more job offers and bookings in America so I figured I need somewhere over there rather than just staying in hotel rooms all the time
That shits tiring
Before I know it I arrive at the location for the shoot
It's currently 8am and I don't know how I'm functioning after staying up so late
As I step out of the car I'm met by a worried looking Elaine, my manager
She quickly grabs my arm before dragging me inside the building
I start to feel my phone going absolutely mad with vibrations in my pocket
"Is everything okay?" I ask her as she leads me into a private room, just the two of us
"Nylah" she says looking... sorry?
"You're scaring me" I say suddenly feeling my heart pounding in my chest, it's about to burst out of my rib cage
"Have you been on your phone?" She asks me softly
"No? Why should I?" I ask feeling anxious as fuck
"I don't know how else to tell you but look" she says as she gingerly hands me her phone which is open on an article
I look down at her phone and I feel like the oxygen has just been sucked out of the room
It's Harry
And pictures of him and Katie
Cosy at a club and oh no
I scroll further and see a photo of them kissing
Elaine's phone drops out of my hands and bounces off the floor
I always knew Katie was trouble
I'm such a fucking fool for trusting him
I never trusted her being in The picture but I always thought I could trust him
"I need to go" I say running out of the building as I try to hide my tears from the paparazzi
"Nylah! What your opinions on Harry's recent antics?"
"Are you and Harry still together?"
They all shout and honestly they couldn't have chosen a worse time
I quickly climb into my SUV that was waiting for me to finish my shoot
"Quick shoot?" The driver asks laughing as he looks at me through the mirror
"Please just take me home" I sniffle through my tears before his smile turns into a serious face as he nods and puts his foot down realising I'm in distress
The drive home seems the longest ever
Too long
Too long for me to get lost in a deep dark hole of thoughts about Harry and how this has happened and more so why
Was I not enough?
What does Katie have that I don't?
Was I too boring?
I shake my head trying to wipe these thoughts from my mind before the vehicle stops outside the apartment block
I jump out of the SUV and race through the apartment building
I don't even know what I'm doing
I'm going wherever my legs are taking me
They take me past my floor and before I know it I realise I'm outside Harry's apartment door
I clench my fist and bang so hard on the door I'm scared I may dent it
"Nylah?" Freezy says opening the door looking worried
"Where is he?!Is he back from Guernsey?" I spit as I storm past him and into the apartment
"Come in then" he laughs sarcastically closing the door behind him
His sarcastic tone soon changes as he notices my facial expression
"Wait what's happened?" He asks worriedly as he rushes over to me
"Where is he?" I repeat almost yelling as I walk away from him trying to find Harry
"Well seen as its 8:30 and Harry doesn't usually wake up until 1pm then I should imagine he is still asleep plus he didn't actually get home until 1 in the morning, his flight was delayed" freezy answers me as he follows me as I storm through their apartment
"If you're wondering I suggest you look at the dailymail and the recent pictures of him" I say before I stop outside Harry's bedroom door
I see Freezy pull out his phone from his dressing gown and quickly type away before he gasps and shakes his head
I fly open Harry's bedroom door as it crashes into his wall
I see Harry jump in his bed as he is suddenly woken up by me
"Oh good morning Harry" I spit with my arms crossed as I stand at the end of his bed
"Morning?" He asks me sleepily confused as he rubs his eyes
Looking all innocent
"What the fuck did you do?" I ask almost yelling
I see Freezy in the corner of my eye leaning on the door frame watching this unfold
"Huh?" He asks me
"Dont act dumb Harry you know what I'm talking about" I say rolling my eyes
"Oh" he says as he looks down at his duvet
"Yeah oh" I scoff
"It's not what it looks like" he says trying to defend himself
"Oh really? Go on then I'm dying to know how the pictures of you kissing Katie are wrong" I remark shaking my head
I'm so close to crying but I'm trying to hold it back
I won't give him that satisfaction
"Fine I won't deny it. The pictures are real and we did kiss" he admits
"Thank you. I admire your honesty I really do" I spit before I walk out of his room quickly as I brush past Freezy
"Wait Nylah!" I hear Harry call out behind me along with the sound of his footsteps thudding after me
"Leave it mate" I hear Freezy say and Harry's footsteps stop
"But" i hear Harry sigh
"You've done enough mate" freezy says before I slam their door behind me
It's the most depressing walk back to my apartment ever
I try not to cry as I make my way to my apartment because I'm too scared the paparazzi are hidden somewhere around me ready to snap a picture of me crying
And I'm a fucking ugly crier man
I can barely see where my lock is on my door as my eyes become full of tears ready to fall down my cheeks
I eventually unlock it thank god
As soon as I enter my apartment I slam the door behind me
I let out the loudest scream I've ever done or heard before I fall to the floor on my knees almost drowning in my tears
I just want to curl up into a ball and get swallowed by a black hole
I can't believe he admitted to it
I really thought we were good
Did I read our relationship that bad?
What did I do that made him want to go back to Katie?
Fuck her man

This just came so unexpected like we were going so well I just don't understand his reasoning

I sigh in frustration as I see Nylah slam our apartment door
"You have some explaining to do" freezy says looking at me sternly pointing with his finger at me
"Ugh" I groan before I go back into my room slamming the door behind me, shutting freezy out
"Mate you're going to have to tell me at some point" he yells through my door
"No I don't freezy" I yell back as I throw myself into my bed again
"Yes you fucking do" he says opening my door roughly
I roll my eyes and try to bury myself in my duvet
"So come on then boggo. How have you fucked this up" he asks sitting on the end of my bed
"I don't want to talk about it" I say closing my eyes pretending to go back asleep
"You're being ridiculous just explain to me!" He says getting frustrated
"Fine! I didn't kiss her" I sigh in frustration
"So why didn't you just say that?" He asks furrowing his eyebrows
"She didn't give me chance. But-" I begin as I sit up in my bed
"Oh boy why is there a but" he says interrupting me as he scratches his chin
"Katie kissed me, I didn't initiate the kiss. But I didn't pull back freezy, I kissed her back" I say sighing as I now regret it
"Why the fuck did you do that?" He asks me with a slight tone of agression
"I don't know! It just kind of felt right and familiar" I explain as I slam my hand down on the duvet
"Harry I'm struggling to defend you on this one" he sighs as he places his head in his hands
"I know, I've fucked up" I admit
"Well go and fight for her then?" He says sarcastically
"I can't" I reply
"Harry! You're not making sense" he exclaims
"Don't get me wrong I love Nylah I really do but I think I still have a thing for Katie" I sigh
"You've got problems mate. You hate change, it's just Katie is familiar to you but bro, Nylah is amazing you can't debate that. At all. Katie was always low-key toxic and although you never want to admit it, she was and we all knew it. None of us have a single bad thing to say about Nylah though. I cant understand why you have this constant thing for Katie no matter how long it's been. You need to move on" he explains
"How do I know if I want to move on!" I reply
"Are you okay? Have you sniffed one too many lines? You're chatting out your arse mate. I can't be dealing with you when you're like this" he scoffs as he stands up from my bed
"All I know is if I told the old you that you were going to end up getting with Nylah Odessa but you would cheat on her by choosing Katie instead you would take me for a fool" he spits before he leaves my room closing the door behind him
I just want to crawl up into a ball and be swallowed by a black hole...
