Two weeks have passed since Reyna moved into 12 Grimmauld Place. Regulus noticed lately that his wife ── wife. He still couldn't believe that they got married.
It was easy to tell the sickness symptoms and Reyna insisted it was probably a stomach bug. The Black was too busy to realize it until now.
Now there was a reason to destroy this Horcrux so his child wouldn't have a condemned fate like he and Reyna's.
"Master please consider this!" Kreacher cried out pleadingly, "Master shouldn't leave Mistress Reyna along with her unborn child!"
"Kreacher you must tell Dumbledore I died, nobody can know...I have to do this and you have to understand why."
Kreacher helped his Master out of the rowboat. "You need to help me Kreacher."
Regulus grabbed the cup filled with the green potion from the basin. "If anything happens you need to protect Reyna and the baby...tell her all about me will you?"
"O-Of course Master." Kreacher blinked back the tears and let out a large sniff to hide his emotions.
The Elf kept helping him drink the potion despite his screams echoing the cave. "SIRIUS NO I'M SORRY -- P--PLEASE DON'T BE MAD!"
The man cried for this big brother. He just wanted to be noble like him. That's all he ever wanted.
"Kreacher is sorry master," Kreacher whispered, "Is it worth it all?"
"For them, yes." Regulus choked out, by now he opened his eye, a hazy vision of his wife smiling sadly at him with glassy tears.
The boy could've sworn she looked like an Angel like she would be the reason that he'll make it."
"Promise you'll meet me on the other side?"
"I promise Reg, wait for me."
Regulus choked back a sob at the elf's words. "Goodbye, Kreacher."
"Goodbye Master."
He prayed that his plan would work.
Just when Regulus could no longer feel his limbs, he could feel himself about to be sunk to the deep ends of the lake when hands grabbed onto his hands.
"Honestly mate you are so stupid."
Regulus couldn't believe who it was.
Perhaps Reyna knew deep down their love was doomed from the start. The moment he became a Death Eater, their perfect life crumbled.
Reyna didn't know he was leaving that night.
She had to wake up to an empty bed the next morning to find a letter on the nightstand.
"There is no other way, I have to do this."
When he didn't return Reyna knew that there was something wrong. Both of them were caught up in a war that they wish to have no part of.
They were supposed to run away to the muggle world and forget about magic until one day, they decide to go back if they ever had children.
Grimmauld 12 became darker if that was even possible. Reyna spent her days taking care of her mother in law.
That's what kept her going so she wouldn't break down.
Everywhere in the mansion reminded her of him — her person died, and so did a fraction of her heart.
The week after she began to feel sick that she'd constantly go to the bathroom and throw up as she would lay on the cold tiles, wondering if the grief was catching up to her.
But then Walburga made a suggestion.
"Go to St. Mungo's sweetheart," Walburga Black held her hand gently. There was a feeling inside the old woman that maybe there was a possibility that there was hope to have a piece of her son and the girl she considers a daughter in this world.
However, she wasn't going alone, instead, she went to the Potter residence to where Sirius was there.
"What are you doing here — look if this is about Reg — "
"Sirius, he's been dead for a month now... You didn't know?"
Sirius was never the one to be broken over the littlest milestones but his head was processing the fact that his baby brother is no longer here.
"He wanted to back out from Voldemort. Leave it all behind by destroying something. He failed to mention what." Reyna partially lied about it. She knew that Regulus was trying destroy the locket. But she knew that he wouldn't want anyone to know about it either.
The last living brother felt a swell of pride and overwhelming guilt. "Oh god...I—holy shit he was a good person wasn't he?"
"He was always good, but sometimes you have failed to realize that." Reyna smiled sadly and that's when Sirius finally broke down.
The two embraced each other as Remus, Lily, and James stared sadly at the pair.
She pulled away and grabbed Sirius' hand, the man frowned, "What are you doing?"
Reyna placed a hand to her abdomen area. "I found out something a week later..."
Once again his mouth dropped and Lily squealed in shock.
"You got knocked up at Hogwarts?!"
"Mate you owe me some gold!"
"I'm three weeks pregnant when I visited St. Mungos. I'm keeping my pregnancy hidden for now using a concealing spell when I'm at the meetings."
"He knew didn't he?" Sirius asked in a heartbeat.
Reyna closed her eyes and sniffled, "Yeah...he did know. I just know he does."
Immediately Remus shook his head, "No way. You are not going to those meetings anymore."
"Remus is right, you're pregnant! Oh my heavens we're both pregnant!" Lily shouted gleefully and came over to hug the blonde.
There was no way that Sirius was going to let his sister go through this alone. He failed Regulus but he cannot fail his brother's wife and child. Reyna moved into the Potter mansion.
Sirius went to every appointment for every step of the pregnancy.
Time passed and Lily and Reyna gave birth. The babies were delivered one day apart. Harry James Potter and Celeste Andromeda Regula Black came into the world.
Celeste was the spitting image of both of her parents. She had her father's curls and eyes but her Reyna's nose.
Everything was once again perfect, but suddenly it all came crashing down once more when Voldemort arrived at Godric's Hollow.
On the night of Halloween, Reyna Black, James, and Lily Potter were murdered by Voldemort.
Reyna and Lily used blood magic to cast a protective shield to their children to repel away from the darkness, so their two miracles would live to see another day.
And they did.
Celeste Black and Harry Potter survived.
The Girl and Boy who lived.
