Milo Thatch took a deep breath of the afternoon air as he made his way to Environmental Science class, last class of the day. He always felt so refreshed after a quiz or test, especially one that was as easy as that one he just took in AP Geometry. He looked up again and saw his friend, Kristoff, also heading in. Kristoff was tall for someone his age and it made him a bit shy like Milo, but he was the nicest friend you could ever ask for.
When Milo came in, their teacher was already telling everyone to go to their tables with their lab partners. Milo picked up the lab sheets for him and Kristoff and started towards their table. Milo always made a note of doing that since Kristoff was a slow unpacker. By the time Kristoff came over to their table, Milo always had everything set up. Kristoff grinned sheepishly, "You know Milo, you don't always have to do this." Milo grinned, "I know, but I do it anyway so you don't get written up for not being prepared." Kristoff smirked, several teachers had threatened to do that before. In a few seconds, the bell rang and everyone got ready to work.
