Now that you had Wi-Fi, you were able to actually go into the apps, rather than being forced out of it every time.
So you check Snapchat first.
The notifications said 31, but really it was 4 people spamming you a million times. They were from your friends; Cole, Hazel, Luis, and (F/n).
(F/n)'s message was from two months ago before you were sent to KnY. As for the others, the most recent ones were from today about an hour ago.
Which only made you nervous since now you wondered if you and Sekido really were caught.
You didn't want to open them since then they would get more worried or try to message you again. So instead, you log out of Snapchat and exit out.
Next, you check Instagram. Last time you checked, you only had 13 messages, now you have 18. You were more active on Instagram, so there were more people who tried to contact you there.
The most recent ones again were Luis, Cole, and Hazel. You logged out of Instagram and exited out.
You checked your missed calls next: you had 77 missed calls. They were all from your brothers, sisters, friends, and your dad. As you scrolled through the history, you noticed one thing.
Your dad has called you everyday since you've been gone. They stopped when your service plan had stopped being paid for.
You sniff and wipe at your eyes so you wouldn't start crying.
Because you're (Y/n) fucking (L/n) and you don't cry.
You went to messenger and checked out the missed messages and calls. You had one missed call from each of your siblings.
From oldest to youngest, there was: Adam, Johnny, Karina, Rachel, Alexis, David, Kika, Mark, Oscar, then finally you.
Too many kids, in your opinion, but what can you do?
You had a missed call from (F/n), and you had a missed call from your dad. You were safe to check out the messages since you had the read receipts turned off for all of them.
The old messages consisted of the same question: Where are you?
The most recent ones from today asked: Are you really back? Where did you go?
(F/n) was apologizing in most of them, the most recent one, which was from today asked: Where are you?
The messages from your dad almost made you cry.
Every morning at 8:00 (the time he leaves for work), he texted you good morning, and that he hopes you have a good day. And every night at 9:30 (the time he normally goes to bed), he texted you good night, and that he hopes you have sweet dreams.
Ugh, your dad was always the sensitive one.
You check the voicemail, it was sent today from your father. You put it on speaker and full volume then press play.
"(Y/n)? David said he saw you at the house. He said you jumped out the window again, which is fucking bonkers since I thought I got rid of all your fucking knives. Did you hide them in your toy box again?-"
(You fool. You thought bitterly. I will always have knives. You can never get rid of them.)
"-Where the hell did you go? David said you jumped out the window, but when he checked outside, you vanished. Where are you? Please, it's been two months, (Y/n). We're all worried about you."
(I'm traveling with a demon. He sent me to a fucking anime on accident and now I'm fighting for my fucking life.)
"Did you leave because I wasn't home often anymore? Is it because your brothers and sisters don't come over as much anymore? Is it because they don't talk to you a lot? I'll tell them to call you more."
(No, I didn't leave. I would never leave you guys. My brothers and sisters call me plenty, and I always enjoy the time I spend with them.)
"....is it because I don't have a lot of money? I know you talk about wanting to go to Comic-Con or a YouTuber's live show, I'm sorry I can't afford it. But I'll get another job, I'll get a hundred more jobs so we can finally go together, okay?"
(No, money was never an issue. Don't say that. Those things don't mean shit to me. I'm happy the way we are.)
"I know I'm not the best father."
(You are the coolest dad I know. It's a little weird how cool you are, but still.)
"Ever since your mother got killed, you, me, your brothers and sisters, we were so happy that life was going to be better for all of us. We still have 'I Hope She's Burning In Hell' gatherings, and that's really been helping us keep ourselves together ever since you left."
(I don't know if dancing in the living room, celebrating the death of the woman who gave birth to your children is considered socially acceptable, but I'm glad you guys are still hanging in there.)
"I'm sorry you were never satisfied."
(I was always the happiest with you and everyone else, don't ever think otherwise.)
"But I can make it up to you. I'll do anything for you to come back. Please just come back. There's not a day that goes by that I don't think about you. I miss you everyday. And not for a second, did I believe you were gone, you're too stubborn to die. Well, you did say you wanted to be on Buzzfeed Unsolved, so maybe you did die in a mysterious way on purpose. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if that was your motive."

"I love you so much. And if you decide not to come back, that's... I just want you to be happy, that's all I want for you. I want you to find a boy that will make you happy. Or a girl... you talk about big boobs a lot. I should probably let you know that Oscar actually found your lesbian porn stash under your bed-"

You drop the phone on the nightstand and began to furiously wipe at the few tears that managed to escape you.
Stupid voicemail. Stupid feelings. Stupid heart-to-heart talks. Stupid you. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid-
"Was... that your dad?"
You furrow your eyebrows and turn to look at Sekido. A grin replaces your solemn features.
"Wow, you trying to seduce me now that we're alone in a hotel?" You tease.
Sekido was wet from his shower, he had a bathrobe covering his body, and a make-shift towel hat on his head. Which makes no fucking sense since his hair is too short for that. He didn't have his piercings in, and the ring he had on his horn was missing too.
Short story long, he looks like a cute fucking nerd.
Sekido hugs his body and turns away from you in embarrassment: "Wh-No! I-I want to save the clothes for tomorrow! A-And I'm all wet! I'm not trying to-to-"
"-You're such a little girl! I'm teasing you!" You laugh, "You're such a twink."
"I am not a twink!" Sekido's voice cracks.
"Anyway! This ain't about me!" Sekido huffs, "That was your dad, wasn't it? So you ended up getting caught?"
You flop backwards onto the soft pillows, "Yeah, it was big man Mr. (L/n) himself."
Sekido sits down next to you, "How um... how do you feel?"
You give a cheeky grin and start to feel the sleeve to Sekido's robe, "With my hands, Sekido."
"Stop!" Sekido squeaks and leans away, "Are you just not gonna talk about it?"
"Nope."
"Fine then!" Sekido huffs, "Is the manga done downloading, then?"
You sit back up and reach over to the nightstand to grab the iPhone.
Sekido forgets about his embarrassment to sit close next to you to see the screen.
Instead of one file of the Kimetsu no Yaiba manga, there were two that had downloaded into your Google Drive.
"Why did you download two of them?" You ask, "That's why it was taking so long."
"When I searched for it, the first one was in your history, so I downloaded it. But when I checked to see if there were anymore updates on the official sites for more information, there was a completely different link on the site," Sekido explains, "And so I searched for the original one, but only this second one showed up. You were talking about the police shit, so I didn't actually check it out. So I just downloaded it too."
You unlock the phone and go to your files. You made sure to set each file to Available Offline so you could access it once you go back.
"Well, it's probably different because it's completed. But we'll check both anyway." You answer as you check the first file.
You and Sekido were met with the first page of the manga: Tanjiro was in front of Nezuko with a nirichin blade.
"Uh, how much do you know?" You ask, "Do you want to read the entire manga from start to finish?"
Sekido takes the towel off his head, his hair that is usually kept up was now sticking out in different places. He sits more comfortably on the bed and crosses his legs, he puts the towel in front of his legs for decency.
"Um," Sekido tilts his head, "Well, since we already lived through the first part, let's check out the part where you show up, and see if anything's changed."
You nod, "Sure. I met Tanjiro before he meets Zenitsu, so that's like... I don't know, let's just see."
You scroll through the chapter index and find Chapter 20: Agatsuma Zenitsu. Since Tanjiro met you first, you went to Chapter 19: Always Together.
You and Sekido skim through the chapter. Closer to the end, it showed Tanjiro and Nezuko saying goodbye to Tamayo and Yushiro.
Which reminds you...
"Do you know Tamayo and Yushiro?" You ask the demon.
He shakes his head, "Nope. I know who they are 'cause of the anime and manga. But I've never met them. And since they haven't tried to find me, my guess is they don't know me either."
You hum in understanding. As you get closer to the end, it cuts from Tanjiro saying goodbye to right before he meets Zenitsu. You tilt your head.
"So... you're not in the manga." Sekido nods, "We-Well, you pretty much lived through this, so let's skip to after the Infinite Train Arc."
You scroll through the chapter index and went to Chapter 67: What You're Seeking.
Sekido told you he wanted to see the fight, but you sobbed and told him you weren't going to relive that.
"Hey, but we can check all this out with Ubuyashiki, Uzui, and Gyomei once we go back. That way we don't have to redo all of this. But you said you only read up to Chapter 202, right? So you can finish it now."
"But you don't know what happens to lead up to that, you'll get spoiled." You point out.
"I can reread it on my own time later. Let's check out the new chapters." Sekido grins.

You wipe away the tears in your eyes as a sigh of relief escapes you.
"Okay," You nod, "Everyone... is more or less okay."
"That..." Sekido rubs the back of his neck, "Was seriously fucked up."
"Next chapter?"
Sekido nods, "Next chapter."

"So Inosuke is a simp for Aoi, huh?" Sekido nods, "And the Demon Slayers Corps gets..."
"Yeah, the next chapter is going to be set in the future," You say as you continue to the next chapter.
"Right, let's see what's... oh..."
Yep.
On the first page was something you knew you would see, but kind of wishing you didn't.
"That's-"
"-Tanjiro's and Kanao's descendants." You finish for Sekido.
"Oh... um, I'm... sorry, (Y/n)," Sekido frowns, "I know you and Tanjiro had that weird thing going on..."
You shake your head, "I mean, I guess I've always known. So, I really shouldn't be surprised. This just proves my point that Tanjiro needs to chill the fuck out and talk to Kanao more."
"Okay but look at that," Sekido points to the colored page of Kanata Kamado and Touko Agatsuma holding hands, "I'm pretty fucking sure that's Zenitsu's and Nezuko's grand kids or something. And she's holding hands with Tanjiro's descendant. That's incest, man. Get with Tanjiro and stop this madness."
"Leave them alone," You laugh, "You're so mean. They're like third cousins, I'm pretty sure that's legal in Japan. And me getting with Tanjiro probably won't change that."
"You can influence your own kids and smack some common sense into them," Sekido nods.
"Whatever, let's just finish it."

"So you're telling me." Sekido starts, "Demons are dead and shit. And the only historical proof of them existing is Zenitsu's autobiography. And people think it's a fictional story?"
"Yeah."
"That's bullshit!" Sekido threw his hands in the air, "What about those who gave up their lives to kill them? What about the tragic stories of losing loved ones to the demon bastards?"
"Well, the manga isn't really about the lore and stuff. It's..." You try to think of a way to phrase it, "The manga is filtered through emotions of the characters, it's built on the emotions of the Demon Slayers who fight the villains who are defined about how easily they threw away their humanity. The happy ending is to show that..."
You scratch the back of your head, "The happy ending is showing that in the future, there are no demons to be scared of. A life where people can be in peace from that."
"I guess..." Sekido groans, "I guess that makes sense."
"Well, that's that," You sigh, "Should we see what's the deal with the other file?"
"Yep!"
"Let's try checking out the part where you show up again," Sekido suggests, "If nothing changed, then we can just delete one of the files."
Once again, you went to Chapter 19: Always Together. Before you choose it, something catches both yours and Sekido's attention.
After that chapter, it was your chapter:
Chapter 20: (L/n) (Y/n).
Then after, it was Chapter 21: Agatsuma Zenitsu.
"Oh shit, look at that!" Sekido points, "You get your own fucking chapter and everything!"
"Hold on, let's check out chapter 19 and see what leads up to it first."
You and Sekido skim through chapter 19. Closer to the end, it shows Tanjiro and Nezuko saying goodbye to Tamayo and Yushiro. At least that much hasn't changed.
As you get closer to the end, it cuts from Tanjiro saying goodbye to him walking on the path through the woods. Tanjiro catches the smell of something sweet and is about to ignore it.
"Ouch." Sekido laughs, "You should beat him up for that."
"Right?" You mumble.
Tanjiro was about to walk away, but there was an angry speech bubble with "Argh!", the word was italicized. And in the small note at the bottom of the panel read 'English words would be italicized from here on out.'
Tanjiro was conflicted, wanting to hurry to his next mission, but his conscience told him to check it out.
"I'm gonna stab him in the forehead next time I see him," You mumble.
The next page shows Tanjiro walking up to a girl on the ground.
The manga was in black and white, but the tones matched your own. You couldn't see her face since she was looking down at a black box in her hand.
You shake your head in disbelief at what Tanjiro says next right before the chapter ends.
"Um, excuse me, miss. Are you okay?"
