Before we get into the story I have a question. So I've been thinking since this is connecting into my favorite anime and I'm taking over a Halo x Code Geass story called Code Geass: Convergence and it starts during the SAZ in S1 the Infinity stumble upon a alternate Earth so my question is when I finish this arc in Ezra Betrayed do you guys and gals want me to end it there then pick it up in Code Geass: Convergence and replace the Infinity with Ezras fleet? Or finish the story off with the Banished arc? Also the voting on my next story after Ezra Betrayed will be extended till the end of February so please go to the new story vote and vote on one of the stories that will become the next story. Ezras eyes flicker open then clos then open again. Wiping any dust off his eyes.
Ezra: What happened
Ezra gets up and looks around noticing he's on a forerunner planet, he looks down to grab his weapons. Ezra makes note of the structures they look dull and dead not as bright and lively as Requiem was. He continued walking toward the structure in front of him which was very circular and had a few rings hovering over it which were frozen in place all most as if it was shut off. Walking up the ramp inside was a console looking at it, Ezra saw it had three circles with a part cut out all three were making a upside down triangle. Moving his arm he moved the left one in the middle then the bottom one and the console lowered and the platform Ezra was on starting descending; the place started lighting up and became lively again blue lights shooting into the sky the structures became brighter and became a lighter grey becoming silver.
Ezra was in awe at how beautiful the scenery was, so alive and green with life flourishing animals roaming around. Ezra walked through the forest all the while admiring the scenery, it wasn't all metal like he thought. Ezra had only seen reports and stories from survivors not with his own eyes so he assumed only sections had vegetation and the rest of the places were made of unknown forerunner metals. Their metal is something no one can figure out what it is; some say the metal is a mixture between Titanium, steel and silver. Others say it's bronze, iron and Titanium but no one is for sure. All they know was whatever the metal was it had similar compounds to Earthly metals but scientists couldn't determine which compounds.
Time skip to me cursing at Activison and Treyarch for possibly retconning the future part of BO2, BO3 and BO4.
Ezra arrived at the the main building which had those rings hovering above it with a blue light in the middle of the rings. Walking up the ramp Ezra sees the console which is the same as the one before he repeats the process of dragging one of the cut circles to the middle then dragging another to the middle. The console lowers and the platform goes down further down passing all the vegetation. As it continued down Ezra's vision started to go white
Flashback
???: That's enough mindless murder!!!
???: what?....I'm...not...one...of them.
???: Planning to use poison gas
???: Get off me!
???: I'm not here by choice and if that's poison gas then it was made by Britannia wasn't it!?
???: Mindless murder? Then why don't you just obliterate Britannia
???: Lelouch it's me, Suzaku
the giant canister opens with steam coming out of it.
Lelouch: Tell me Suzaku is this really poison gas?
The raven boy said staring at the canister which contained something blurred that Ezra couldn't see.
Suzaku: That's what they told me.
Flashback end
Ezra opened his eyes again and is met by a purple light shining in his face. His eyes clear up and sees a monitor with a purple eye.
???: Hello Reclaimer I am 031 Exuberant Witness monitor of Genesis.
Ezra: You're the monitor of this place?
031: Yes! You're in the Nomos system on Nomos II also known as Genesis.
Ezra: How did I end up here? I was on Requiem then I found a few Engineers and then I somehow got here.
031: You were pulled here by me, you're looking for answers correct?
Ezra: Yes. I keep having these visions of people I've never met and somethings are either blurred out or muted so I don't know everything. All I know was someone was sent away by his or her parents because of the power the child possessed and the families uncle wanted to use the child as a weapon and so the child was sent away with two people that had grey skin and then just before I woke up I had another of two boys one with black hair called Lelouch and a Brown hair boy called Suzaku and they were talking about some place called Britannia and poison gas.
031: Yes I know about that my creators mentioned the child, I looked after the child while he stayed here for a little along with the boys temporary parents my creators but I wasn't given the name in case I were to be infected by the flood and they try to use the child as a weapon. Unfortunatley I do not know the two boys you named but the name Britannia sounds familiar. Follow me.
Ezra followed the monitor walking past the vegetation which was more lively then where he was before.
(Ignore spark and ignore the other two people walking together)
The pair arrived at giant doors that start to open. Panels started moving sliding in and up.
(Basically like this)
Ezra and 031 Exuberant Witness continued forward walking past hundreds of Promethean knights but they were blue like Chief and Cortana mentioned before the didact was released. The area was very big and beautiful.
(Ignore the bridges and make that entire space have a rocky floor)
031: Place your hand on this console it'll take a DNA sample to make sure you're no enemy.
Ezra takes off his glove and places his hand on the glowing center console, feeling a prick the computer scanned his DNA then a voice spoke.
???: DNA confirmed welcome Ezra Bridger son to Shadow-of-Sundered-Star aka the Didact and First-Light-Weaves-Living-Song aka The Librarian. Initiating message.
A figure in armor appears on the holo-table screen then another figure appeared behind the first one.
Didact: Ezra if you're listening to this then that means you're on Genesis and have met one of your caretakers when you were younger 031 Exuberant Witness. You may recognize the armor, I am the Didact and this is the Librarian. You won't remember us but when you're old enough you'll learn of your true heritage, I wish I could tell you in this message but you must go on this journey alone to know of who you are. The answers you find may either ruin your life or fill a gap in your heart. 031 will grant you access to Maethrillian there you'll find someone waiting for you. I leave you with this 'She has a identical twin find her and your answers will be answered'
Librarian: We aren't dead but in hiding, even though you weren't our child we still loved you like our own son, cared for you like our own son, treated you like our prince. We will always be with you in the heart, soul and mind. We will answer your call in time of aid.
A/N: Cliffhanger. FYI the names I used for the didact and the librarian were their real names. Pretty shocking Ezra has another vision but not from the past but the present this time, Ezra is now the first human to ever be on Genesis. What does the Didact mean by 'She has a identical twin find her and your answers will be a answered'? It's pretty easy to solve if you read Halo fanfics or just use your brain (sorry lazy people) next chapter Ezra goes to Maethrillian the second home world to the Forerunners. Then we'll be visiting Ghibalb the original home of the forerunners. After that some of Ezra's questions will be answered.
