Student council room
Sayaka shows her discovery of Ryota Suzui from yesterday and Kirari took interest in the brunette.
"Interesting indeed, looks like Suzui Ryota has a Gambling Freak side hidden beneath him."
The white haired said as she looks at the recording taken from yesterday, she began to wonder.
Who really is Ryota Suzui?
"Midari, I want you to gamble with him today. Let's see his hidden skills being put to use"
-Kirari
"Oh this will be fun as hell~"

With Ryota
Ryota is sitting in the back of a black fancy car with heading to school, his driver stops near the gate and thanked him for driving him.
"No need to thank me sir, I'm just doing the task that your father assigned me"
The driver replies.
His father is a billionaire named Shigemaru Kanbe, after his first wife died of cancer he re-marries to Sakura Suzui, Ryota's mother.
Shigemaru have two kids from his previous marriage named Daisuke and Suzue Kanbe, thus making them his older half siblings.

Daisuke is the oldest son, he is currently 27 and working in the Detective Division, he is also engaged to a fellow male detective named Haru Katou. This troubles their father a bit but after some argument and convincing, Shigemaru finally approves.
Suzue is the middle child, she is the closest one to Ryota even coming to him if she's upset or mad. She is currently 25 and is working as Daisuke and Haru's assistant in missions.
She is probably the most excited one when hearing the news about her brother's engagement.
And finally there is Ryota, the youngest son of the Kanbe family.
He is the only one with a passion for gambling, discovering it after seeing his mother gamble with a rival and winning.
That's right, he gets his gambling side from his mother. After a traumatic incident that almost killed his mother and the loss of his best friends, he learn to minimize his love for gambling and instead use his ability to focus on his studies.
They all speak fluently in a few different languages and all are known to be intelligent, though Ryota's intelligence mostly comes from his gambling experience and increases when he decided to focus on his studies.
The reason he lost to Mary Saotome before is because he was told to lose, that's right, he purposely lose to Mary Saotome. It's because his mother heard of Mary and have her suspicion that she cheated, so she asked Ryota to lose a game against her and report to her is she is cheating or not, and as you know she did cheat.
Even though he's a Kanbe, he used his mother's last name to not attract attention to himself. Although he is also careful with her last name because his mother is quiet known in the gambling world, though only in certain areas of the country and also because his mother used the alias; Celestia Ludenberg, when she gambles.
He is told to put on a persona at school to report back to his mother Hyakkaou Academy's pet system, let's just say his mother was furious but she couldn't really do anything about it without getting caught.
That morning he was called by his mother to her room after breakfast to talk about the events of yesterday, as Ryota had told her.
He knocked on her door and waited until he heard a faint 'you may enter' from inside her room, he entered her room and saw his mother shuffling a deck of cards while staring out the window.
Her black hair is currently down instead of the usual twin drill style she usually wore.
because it is early morning and she hadn't done her hair yet but she managed to put on her signature lace headband and she is fully dressed, she turned her head to face her son with her stunningly red eyes.
Ryota got his features from his grandfather on his mother's side and his gambling side from his mother.
"Ah! Ryota my dear son, please come here"

He walked closer to his mother and she pecked his forehead as a way of saying 'good morning' to him, they both sat down on her red and black bed and Ryota later his head on his mother's lap as she sets down her deck of cards and plays with her son's hair.
"Now that your gambling side has been revealed, what will you do my dear?"
-Sakura/Celestia
"I don't know mother, I hadn't thought of that yet. I might just wave it off as a one time thing to them"
-Ryota
"If I were you my dear, I will just embrace it. But alas I cannot control your feelings or desire, whatever your decision is I will support you"
-Sakura/Celestia
"Thank you mother"
-Ryota
"Have you been payed back by that girl Ivy?"
-Sakura/Celestia
"Not yet, but I gave her a time limit of this week. With her parents's job, I think she will be able to pay in bits at least"
-Ryota
"I see, well would you look at the time! It's almost time for you to go to school, you don't want to be late now do you? In the meantime, I need to do my hair"
-Sakura/Celestia
After that with one last kiss on the head by his mother, Ryota is where he was now.
Ryota walked to his class, being uncomfortably stared at by people walking by, until he gets to his class. He took a deep breath and then opened the classroom door, all eyes are on him and the room is filled with silence. That is until Yumeko ran towards him with a huge smile on her face and hugged the living daylight out of him, Mary followed soon after walking towards him with arms crossed.
"Yesterday was amazing Ryota-san, you should do that more often"
Yumeko said while hugging his arm.
"What the hell was yesterday about you idiot? Tell me!"
Mary said, sounding mad.
"That was a one time thing, and the person I'm gambling with I happen to have a grudge on"
-Ryota
"But why~ that was amazing, seeing you bravely gambling with Ivy and you putting her in debt makes me go crazy~"
-Yumeko
"I can't believe I'm saying this but.... Thank you"
-Mary
"It's not a problem honestly, your welcome I guess"
-Ryota
"Whatever, but in all seriousness you should do that more often, better put those skills of yours to good use than wasting it"
-Mary
"*sigh* I'll...think about it"
-Ryota
After that, at lunch time they went to eat their lunch and he is approached by Itsuki.
"Yesterday was amazing Ryota-senpai, why don't you do that more often?"
-Itsuki
"Well, I said it was a one time thing but Mary made me reconsider that, though I doubt that I'll be gambling anytime soon"
-Ryota
Then suddenly, the masked vice president of the student council aka Ririka Momobami approached Ryota.
"Midari Ikishima has challenged you to a gamble, please follow me"
-Ririka
Ryota turn to his friends, and they looked at him back.
"Never mind"
-Ryota
He along with Yumeko, Mary, and Itsuki, followed Ririka into the basement of the school where Midari usually gambles, she let's only Ryota in and the other three watched through a glass window.
"Now look what we have here, an idiot who is apparently not really and idiot"
-Midari
"Pleasure to see and gamble with you again Midari-san"
-Ryota
"Alright whatever let me just cut to the chase, the student council president wanted me to test your skills that you've been hiding under that scaredy cat ass of a face of yours"
-Midari
"I see"
-Ryota
"So, how about a game of Russian Roulette?"
Midari said as she pulls out a gun from under the table.
Ryota looks at the gun, then back at Midari, he then gets an idea to spice up Russian Roulette.
"May I suggest a little twist?"
-Ryota
"What that fuck do you have in mind?"
-Midari
"How about a game of Chess Russian Roulette?"
-Ryota
"Chess and Russian Roulette into one game?"
-Midari
"Yes indeed, it's just like normal Chess but, every time you lose a chess piece you take a turn pulling the trigger. The other loses if they got the bullet, sounds fair?"
-Ryota
"I'm not one for strategy games you fuck!"
-Midari
"Are you turning down a challenge?"
-Ryota
"You lookin' down in me you bastard?!"
-Midari
"Am I?"
-Ryota
"Fuck it! Fine! I'll play."
-Midari
As one of her goons was setting up the chess board the aura around them becomes intense, the basement of the school is now a War Ground.
2 kings at each side, fighting for victory. One only wants the thrill and excitement of a weapon pointed at her, the other one fights with the guidance of his mother and the past games he played with her.
One with lust, one with a strategy.

Holy shit, I finally updated this story, even though it's just like an explanation chapter but still a chapter.
I just write whenever I feel like it that's why it took so long, and also I've been writing other stories too.
