Hey guys, welcome to Filter.
I'll be honest, this is probably the book I am most proud of. I started writing it in May of 2020, began publishing it in May of 2021, and I still haven't finished writing it yet.
Hence, the writing style changes a lot (and it's pretty shit in the first few chapters, I promise it gets much better.)
The plot is really engaging, and even though it uses two very common tropes, I'm glad I played into the stalker one more heavily than the arranged marriage one. In my opinion, it gives the story a bit of originality, as well as bringing to light the awful sasaeng situation that many idols deal with on a daily basis.
This book is very much a slow burn, because I really wanted to focus on building character relationships and developing their personalities. It kinda accidentally turned into a 2yeon story midway that I had to reign back in, so I will be writing a sequel at some point that follows Nayeon and Jeongyeon after the end of the events of Filter.
