Flashback.
"Mom, are you sure you're gonna be alright?" I asked her
"Don't worry about me, darling. I'll be alright, you're father will take care of you dearly." My mom said and hugged her for the last time
"I'm gonna miss you so much." I said
"Don't you worry. You're gonna visit me every month!" She cries
You must be confused why my Mom is leaving? The truth is my Mom and Dad got a divorce, they only got it today because the only thing that stopped it from happening was me.
3 hours earlier.
I was walking down the stairs to get some food but I heard my parents arguing in the kitchen
"What are we gonna do with her? We can't just split her up! She needs her father!" Mom said
"And she needs a mother as well!"
"If you take her, it would cost me money!" She said
"But if you take her, how can you pay for her expenses? Is that the life you really want for your daughter?"
I hear my mom sobbing
"Fine. But please, don't treat her like how you treat me." She said
As I heard what she said I ran back upstairs and went to my room.

"Honey?" My mom said
"Come in" I sob
She walks in my room, all dressed up to leave.
"Do you really have to go?" I asked her
"Oh baby, you'll be fine with your dad. He promised to me that you would be his number one priority." She said
I hugged her tight
"Even if I love him so much, he just doesn't feel the same way anymore." She said
"Don't worry, Mom! I promise to find a way to get you guys back together!" I said

"Don't you worry. You're gonna visit me every month!" She cries

"I love you more." She said and after that we waved eachother

"Yah! Pabo! You're in my seat." Someone said while poking my head
"Why don't you go find another seat. I sat here first!" I said
"Hah! This is my seat! MY SEAT! Now get your ass off of it!" The guy scoffed
I looked up and saw that it was Jake.
Jake has been annoying me for the past years since I transferred here.
"You didn't buy this seat! That means it's not "YOUR SEAT!" " I said
"You didn't pay for it either." He said
"Then I guess, neither both of us owns it!" I said
"Ms. L/n and Mr. Shim, to my office." The Principal (He) said
"I don't like this attitude at all from the both of you. You've been yelling at eachother for years! Why can't you just get along." He said
"I wouldn't have done this in the first place if it wasn't for her transferring here." Jake said
"I wouldn't have done it either if it weren't for him annoying me all the time!" I said
"It's not my fault. You started everything, even you stepping in to our school makes my head boil." He said
"So it's my fault? You started everything! You think I'm very happy that you annoy me all the time??" I said and we continued arguing
"Now, that's enough!" The Principal yelled
"Both of you are the top students of my school. I don't want the public to know that my students argue! Please just apologize to yourselves and make up!" He continued
"Not if he apologizes first!" I said
"Make me!" Jake said and left the office
I followed him behind and was about to attack him but kept myself in control.
"YAH! Shim Jaeyun!! What's the matter with you?" I yelled
"What's the matter with me? You think I like you being here?? Ever since my mom is dating your dad, that doesn't make me being all kind to you!!" He said
"I didn't ask for my dad to date her!" I said
"Well it's not my fault either! My mom is better off with someone else!" He said
"Atleast you have a mom!" I cried and he stopped talking
I ran to the bathroom and cried, luckily it was a class period, so no one was there to hear us argue.
I went back to my classroom and just listened to the lecture.

"Let's go out for dinner!" My dad said
"Why?" I asked
"We should. It's been a long time since we did a father and daughter bonding!" He danced
"Haha! Ok fine." I said
"Alright! Wear something nice!" He said
I rolled my eyes and went to my closet to pick out a dress.
"Are you ready?" He asked
"Yeah! Coming!" I went downstairs
"Oooh so fancy!" I said
"And you look just like your mother!" He said
Our smiles faded away and he clapped for no reason
"C'mon! We don't have to be upset! Let's just enjoy a wonderful dinner!" He said and I smiled

We went inside and sat down in our tables
"Can we get a 4 people set and just water for the drinks." He said
"Why 4?" I asked
"You might get hungry even more. Why not getting two more?" He asked
"Hahaha you're so annoying, dad!" I laugh
"F/n! We're here!" I heard a familiar voice
I looked to my right; it was his new girlfriend and to my surprise she brought her son!
"Hey! I'm glad you came!" He said
"What are they both doing here?" Jake and I say in unison
"Oh honey. I'm so sorry about this. It's the only way I could get you to come along." He said
"Oh whatever." I said and went back to my seat

"We're so sorry for eating early." My dad said
"Oh no worries!" She said
I actually like his mom. I just don't like what she made.
"So what's this all about? I still have tutoring classes." Jake said
"Like you even attend to any of them." I scoff
"Now, kids! There's something important we'd like to tell you.." my dad said
"What?" I asked
"We're getting Married!!" They both squeal
"WHATT??" Me and Jake yelled
"No! You can't marry him!" He said
"And Dad, Are you out of your mind?? You can't marry her either!" I asked and Jake looks at me in disbelief
"Are you saying my mom is not good for your dad?" He asked
"No! I'm saying you're not good for me becoming my brother! Dad, what would mom say about this?" I said
"We already got divorced, and she already knows about this" my dad said
"What? NO!" I said
"Y/n," he said
"NO!!" You yelled
"why can't you just let me be happy for once? Why can't you support your dad!" He said
"Cause mom still loves you." I cry and
Dad looks at me in fear.
He takes a big deep breath
"Honey, I'm sorry for not telling you this but Your mom is dead." My dad sits in his chair as I was so shocked to what he said
"What do you mean? What about the letters that I sent to her for the past years? And how can she right me back?" I said
"It was all me." He said
"So you knew that she still loves you but you never came back for her??" I asked
"I'm sorry." He said
"No! NO! THIS CAN'T BE RIGHT!" I yell and left the restaurant but Jake followed behind
Oh wow. It's not really the perfect time to rain!
"Y/n wait!" He said
"What do you want from me?? What did I ever do to you? If you don't want any of my existence maybe I should just disappear and-" I was cut off by him kissing me on the lips
"JAKE!!!" I heard his mom yell from the back
"Oh shit." I said
