It's time for Blanc to have her turn in the spotlight.

About you: You live in Lowee's basilicom and have a secret talent to do with singing. You and Blanc share a common interest in novels and are close friends, but you want it to be more than that. So when night falls, you plan to tell her how you feel...through the power of your voice.

======================================

You were humming away whilst writing a few words on an empty lyric sheet, for you were currently going over song ideas and there was a good reason for it.

You can remember when you first moved to Lowee when you were looking for a job with the Basilicom, but what you were given was unexpected. Not only did you meet with the nation's CPU herself, but you had a singing voice that sounded beautifully to Blanc.

So here you were, now living in the basilicom along with Blanc and her twin sisters, Rom and Ram who likes to pull pranks or throw books at you. The reason why you were humming and writing a song of sorts was because one night, Blanc had returned after attending a party that took place on Leanbox.

You were the first to welcome her back, but she sighed and wanted some time alone. You wondered what was wrong with her until you had an idea, maybe you could write a song to cheer her up.

The ides however were interrupted by the slight rumbling of your stomach.

"Hmmm, guess I could put this aside for now." You said. "Off to the kitchen it is."

You left your room and made your way to the kitchen when you found Mina, Lowee's oracle already there.

"Oh, afternoon, (Y/N)." Mina greeted. "Are you looking for Blanc?"

"Well, more or less." You answered. "I'm just a little hungry right now."

You checked the cupboards and found a few things to make yourself something since it was lunchtime. Once you were done with lunch, you went back to your room. But along the way, you saw a door open to reveal Blanc coming out who closed the door behind her. You looked at her to notice that something wasn't right with her.

"Blanc." You said as you hugged her. "What's wrong?"

"It's nothing, (Y/N)." She answered quietly, hiding her face to avoid showing her blushed face.

You could tell that it wasn't nothing. "Please tell me what's wrong."

She shook her head. "I'm telling you, it's nothing."

You wanted to push the subject further, but stepped aside and watched her walk whilst rubbing her eyes. Clearly there was something wrong, but Blanc didn't seem to want to open up. Maybe someone else knows about the issue.

You walked to another apart of the basilicom, a huge playroom where Rom and Ram would most likely be. When you went inside, you felt a slight sense of an incoming attack. You moved your head to one side, avoiding an incoming book that was thrown at you.

"Awww, I missed." Ram moaned. "That's so lame."

"Uhhh, throwing a book isn't lame." You responded. "And I appreciate it if you'd stop doing that everytime you see me."

"Can't we be nice to mister (Y/N) for once?" Rom asked.

"That's a good question. Anyways, do you two know what's up with Blanc?"

Rom put a finger on her chin. "Uh huh, I remember Blanc saying something yesterday."

"Oh, you're talking about the birthday party." Ram added. "It sucks that we couldn't go."

"So, you don't know what happened there?" You asked.

"Not at the party, but after that." Rom answered. "She looked...sad."

"Right." You pondered. "Why was she sad, cause that's what I'm trying to find out."

Ram hummed. "Hmm, I think she said something not being happy with her body."

"But she's wrong, me and Ram love her the way she is."

You started getting an idea of what happened. Someone probably made fun of her...lack of endowment...and it sort of hurt them mentally. This won't do, you wanted to cheer her up and tell her that she doesn't need to think about changing her body. You suddenly thought of possible lyrics you could write with, then came with a idea of your own.

"I see, well then, why don't you leave it to me." You said.

"What are you going to do?" Rom asked.

You smiled. "Get your elder sister's smile back."

Ram giggled. "That's so cheesy, but meh, as long as you don't make her sad."

"I won't let that happen." You held your arms out. "I'll make Blanc feel like she's the best around."

Rom and Ram got up and you hugged them both before leaving thier room and going back to yours, it was time to resume with a new song you were going to work on.

*Time Skip, brought to you by a chibi Blanc reading a book.*

The night had arrived and you had just finished dinner with Blanc, Rom and Ram as the four of you sat around table. Sitting next to Blanc made you feel happy but also a little nervous. Over time, you had grown fond of the Lowee goddess and thinking back to how sad she was made you feel like you want to be there for her.

Perhaps care for her, maybe even love her. But the fact that she was a CPU and that you were a normal person made you hesitant to ask her, but that was going to change tonight.

"Say Blanc." You said. "I got asked to take part in a talent show at the Lowee FireWall, the restaurant bar that opened last week. I was thinking if you'd wanted to come along with me."

"Hm?" Blanc looked at you. "A talent show?"

You looked away slightly. "Yeah, it wouldn't be the same if you weren't there for me."

Although it was faint, you could sense a hint of redness on Blanc's cheeks. "If you want me there, I'll go with you."

"Thanks."

"Oh, oh, oh, could we go too?" Ram asked.

"We have homework for miss Mina, remember?" Rom reminded.

"Awww, that's so boring..."

"It's not boring, Ram." Blanc said. "It's supposed to make you smarter for when you become CPUs someday."

"But we're not like normal people and we're gonna be kids so there."

"Now now, settle down." You intervened. "Anyways, we have to go in a few minutes."

"Okay." Blanc replied.

As you got up to get ready, you changed into your winter clothes since Lowee was incredibly cold at night, but you didn't mind that for there was a saying you once learnt. Cold hands, warm heart. Something that resonated with you perfectly based on how warm you feel when you're with Blanc despite the coldness of the land. After grabbing the lyrics sheet you finished writing on, you hid it away in your pocket and left your room to rejoin with Blanc who was waiting outside the basilicom.

"Sorry if I kept you waiting." You said.

"It's fine, I wasn't waiting for long." She replied. "So if you're ready."

"Yeah, let's go."

The two of you left the basilicom and walked over to the restaurant bar you mentioned, there was a sign outside saying 'Talent Show Night!'. You let Blanc go in first and you followed, when you got inside, the place was somewhat packed. You knew that it was going to be a bit of a squeeze in some places, so you thought of another idea.

"Blanc, do you think I can hold your hand?" You suggested. "We may get separated if we're not careful."

"Umm...i-i-if you say so..." She answered with hesitation.

You took her hand and held it firmly as the two of you went past some of the people until you found an empty table for two. You and Blanc took a seat and got comfortable whilst noticing a stage that was finished being prepared. There was someone on stage who was doing introductions, looks like the show was about to start. Earlier in the day, you had made a call to the restaurant and pulling a few strings, you got yourself on the list, now you just had to wait for your turn.

"Will you be singing, (Y/N)?" Blanc asked.

"Yeah, but it'll be more than that this time." You answered. "Remember when I said I was working on a song?"

"Yes, you did...wait, you mean?"

"Yeah, but you're gonna have to wait." You started getting nervous. No matter how many times you went over it, you couldn't help but slightly worry.

Blanc gave you a smile. "I'm sure you'll be fine, (Y/N)."

The show started and you watched as others got up to take part in showcasing their talents, some of them were good, but there were others that didn't work out well. Just then, you heard your name being called which got your attention. You smiled at Blanc before you got up and went on stage, taking the lyrics sheet with you.

You grabbed the microphone cause you had a few things to say.

"Before I begin, I would like to dedicate this song to someone who's more than a close friend to me. She's the one who I've grown to like over time." You declared. "I wanna let her know through my voice that she means more to me and that if she ever feels down, she can rely on me and I'll always be there for her."

You placed the sheet on a small desk the stage and waited until a slow ballad started playing.

Everyone watched in silence and you began to sing the first word...

Don't you ever wish
You were someone else
You were meant to be
The way you are exactly
Don't you ever say
You don't like the way you are
When you learn to love yourself
You're better off by far
And I hope you always stay the same
'Cause there's nothing 'bout you I would change

I think that you could be
Whatever you wanted to be
If you could realize
All the dreams you have inside
Don't be afraid
If you got something to say
Just open up your heart
And let it show you the way

Don't you ever wish
You were someone else
You were meant to be
The way you are exactly
Don't you ever say
You don't like the way you are
When you learn to love yourself
You're better off by far
And I hope you always stay the same
'Cause there's nothing 'bout you I would change

Believe in yourself
Reach down inside
The love you find will set you free
Believe in yourself
You will come alive
Have faith in what you do
You'll make it through

Don't you ever wish
You were someone else
You were meant to be
The way you are exactly
Don't you ever say
You don't like the way you are
When you learn to love yourself
You're better off by far
And I hope you always stay the same
'Cause there's nothing 'bout you I would change

No there's nothing 'bout you I would change

"Don't change." You spoke as the song ended.

A split second of silence was present only to be drowned by the roar of applause by almost everyone that was watching the talent show. You grabbed the lyrics sheet and sat back down to see Blanc who was blushing in bright red, but smiling too. As if all the troubles she was feeling had been swept away by the sound of your voice.

"Blanc, are you okay?" You asked.

She said nothing and instead got up and sat right next to your before grabbing your cheeks with her hands.

"What are you doi-amph!"

You were cut off when she pressed her lips on yours.

You blinked in surprise before you allowed the joy of being kissed flow through. You closed your eyes and put your hands around her waist. You were wondering if the others around were looking, but they were paying attention to the next performer. Once you both pulled away after a full minute of kissing, you had started blushing as much as her.

"Does that mean you liked it?" You asked.

"It was beautiful." Blanc answered. "I wouldn't mind hearing it again sometime."

"Thanks...I had to do something to help you feel better and I don't want you to change who are you, because...well...umm...I...lo-""

"You love me?" She asked for you whilst blushing.

You nodded and blushed right back. "Yeah...I love you for who you are. Do you love me too?"

She kissed you as her choice of answer. "I'd like to go back, now." She said before holding her hand out. "Together."

"Yeah, together." You agreed before taking her hand and leaving.

After walking back to the basilicom, you took Blanc to your room and after removing your jacket, you pulled her in for a close embrace with your arms around each other and your lips gently locked in together. Suddenly, you heard your door being opened slightly thanks to a slight creak, you both looked to see the twins who saw it all.

"Uh oh..." You muttered before moving away. You knew this wasn't going to end well.

"Blanc and (Y/N) sitting in a tree." Ram teased.
"K-I-S-S-I-N-G." Rom added.

Blanc's red eye appeared. "You...little...brats!" She started chasing after them.

You laughed and sighed, should've seen that one coming. But that didn't bother you in the slightest, for you now had your first love, the CPU of Lowee. The new found love between you both would be as soft and pure as the snow that falls down over the lands of Lowee.
