today i stood in my own skin. clasping his lips to my chest as if i thought pressing hard enough would draw him back into my sweet heart
tug him gently, gingerly, by his soft fingers. and his smile glowing the color of fresh water sea pearls
kissing me madly. my lungs flaring red and blue and hot and cold. his hands cutting hurricanes into my flesh
and so today i thought about sinking my hands into his hair. letting my bones melt into his skull. carve out spaces for all the bright colors i wish i could put inside of his world.
