I can feel it. The intoxicating aroma of the one thing that totally consumes me. What am I supposed to feel? Hot? Cold? I have yet to figure it out. Thick strands of my burnt sienna colored hair dangle in front of my face, dripping of a thin liquid called sweat. Drops of this liquid slowly flow over the flesh on my face, meeting in rivers and swiftly becoming seas. My eyes wandered to my torn and unsightly clothes: A white T-shirt- ripped straight down the middle- black, to-the-knee, Gym-shorts, ripped down the sides and around the seams- and black converse covered in mud stains. Where have I been? What happened to me? I raised my head and skimmed over the area. Nothing but a bright, white light. Where am I?
