'Y/n, I want to ask you something..' Tony hums lowly.
She's laying comfortable against his bare chest, her hand mangling with his. She mindlessly plays with the fingers. A pleasant feeling.
'What is it?' She replies with her velvet voice, your head tilting her head up to look at him.
'I want you to come to the ball tomorrow evening... not as a maiden but as a Princess... my Princess...'
She turns her body around rapidly, her knees digging into the soft bed while she gives him a slight frown. She's unsure if he meant it as a joke or not.
'I've had enough of hiding... I hate having to lie to everyone when I have this amazing, kind and loving woman by my side.. that I do not get to kiss in public...'
'Hmm, a night of dancing, in a pretty dress.. not having to clean up after you?, how could I resist?' She smiles.
'You know I don't like it when you clean up after me...you don't have to do that...'
'Oh but I do... else it will get suspicious...we were almost caught last time..and we should get dressed now before we possibly scar some young knights eyes permanently...' she pushes herself up to kiss his cheek lovingly before sliding out of his grip.
He follows her out and gets dressed before he takes her hand in his and he pulls her against him. He softly sways making her let out a laugh.
'What on earth are you doing Anthony?'
'Admiring you...I love you...'
'Then it is certainly a good thing that I love you as well...'

'Your highness...you requested my presence?' Y/n peeks around the corner.
The ballroom never fails to take her breath away, it's always been one of her favourite rooms. With the beautiful paintings and excruciating golden details covering every inch of it. The marble floors that reflect almost everything.
'Your highness?' She asks again as she pushes the door open slightly further.
'Anthony?' She speaks up again as she closes the large door behind her. She gasps audibly when she feels someone grabbing her from behind.
She chuckles however when she feels a kiss being pressed to her cheek. 'Hello you..' she grins.
'Hello...' he whispers as he presses a kiss to her head and spins her in his arms. 'Funny bumping into you here..'
'Hm, you asked for my presence.. Prince Anthony...' her reply is laced with amusement.
'Did I? Must've forgotten...' he jokes.
'Why am I here Tony?'
'I wanted to ask you.. for a dance...to practise for tomorrow, to get you here so I can enjoy this without having to be stressed...'
'Well in that case...' she chuckles when she gets spun around and ends up in his arms again. 'I will comply to you...'
He smiles at the young woman before gently lifting her hand and bringing it back down, starting the well know dance routine every member of the royal family must learn.
He takes her hand and firmly puts his other arm on his lower back, guiding her through the large ballroom with a smile plastered on his face.
After a fair amount of twirls he gets ready to dip her. And he does. He keeps her there as he studies the face of the woman who stole his heart in such a short amount of time.
'What on earth are you doing?!' His father calls out and Tony startles. He immediately lets go off Y/n, sending her straight to the floor with an unladylike thud to top it all off.
'My apologies..' he immediately says as he reaches for her.
'Apologising to a maiden? My my Anthony, surely you have nothing to apologise for... and I believe she can get up herself.. she's not worthy of a royal helping her...' his mother cackles evilly. 'Let alone a royal to touch her...'
Y/n swallows down the lump in her throat formed by Tony letting go and his parents speaking rudely about you and him not even saying anything to oppose them. She pushes herself on her feat and straightens out her dress.
This is how it's always been, Tony is nothing but loving during their time spend together, but the second someone else of the royal family interrupts them, he drops her, sometimes quite literally and doesn't bother to stand up for him nor his love.
'We were looking for you Anthony, we wanted to ask you a few things about tomorrow evening...'
'I will walk with you...You're relieved of your duties for today Y/n...' he simply comments as he walks away paying her no mind any further.
The door closing breaks down her walls completely as she bursts into tears right then and there. Where just now was so much happiness, there's pain, pure pain.

Tony is seething like a hot kettle at the moment as he watches Y/n with Prince Steve, a good friend of his and obviously very taken by your form.
Steve swirls her around and she's laughing just the way she does with Tony, and he gets a foul taste in his mouth at the sight.
He blames it all on his parents when they keep reminding him a maid should be none of his concern. He can see how much he hurt her, it was written all over her face when he tried to speak with her this morning. She wouldn't allow it though, kept going on with her duties as if he wasn't speaking to her.
And now she's dancing with another Prince instead of him. Did he mention is makes his blood boil?
'If you don't mind.. I would like to dance with her...' Tony cuts in when he hears her laugh loudly again.
Before either Steve or Y/n can give him a proper reply, he's already swaying her away from Steve while he gives her a small apology.
'I do not agree to this...' she says harshly. 'You promised...'
'Oh you want to talk about promises now?' She scoffs as he spins her around, she ends up in his arms again.
'Please Y/n it was never my intention-'
'To hurt me? To tell me you love me? To court me?'
'No i... it wasn't my intention to hurt you... I love you and I care for you-'
'So that's why you dropped me?, so that's why I still feel the pain in my back from the fall? Where you completely neglected me on the bloody floor? If that is your love then I do not want it...'
'So what are you saying?' He asks confused.
'That I want to end whatever it was that we had... I want the torture to stop... you love me then you don't, you kiss me then you drop me on the floor... and that might've been an accident but you leaving me there surely wasn't...'
'You want to go to Steve don't you? You think he can give you something better?'
'Why the sudden jealousy? Don't think I haven't noticed you staring all night...'
'I am not jealous-'
'Do not lie to me' she retorts. 'You're only jealous because someone else actually makes me happy... and Steve does, but he's nothing more than a friend because I believed I had someone better to be my love...'
'That's no way to speak to me...' his state turns cold and she tended up even more than she already has.
'And there it is again... that some coldness you give me every single time people are near...' it brings tears to her eyes. 'But it's what I should've expected... I'm only a maid after all...' she harshly lets go off him.
Her heels click as she walks away from Tony, her back turned and her eyes trained to the door.
'I LOVE YOU Y/N!' He suddenly yells making every single thing come to a halt. The music cuts off, as do the conversations of people around.
'And I fucked up! I did! I should tell everyone to fuck off and let me have my way with you because I LOVE YOU!'
She tenses up, he can see her shoulders constricting. He can see her hands winding up as fists against her side.
'And I'm a coward for not telling everyone sooner, and for leaving you on the floor and for everything else I've done to you in front of other people.. I should be screaming it from the blood balconies on this godforsaken palace that I am in love with my maid and I am proud of it!'
She slowly turns around, her eyes hold the same pain but also a hint of love still. She can't fool herself by saying she's not still very in love with him.
'Tony what is the meaning of this?!' His mother speaks up.
'Will you ever shut up?!, I am trying to win back my first and only love and all you can do is be rude at her! Yes she is a maid! But to me she's more! But it also means that she knows kindness! And she has spirit! She appreciates what she has and the same cannot be said about the both of you!' He snaps before turning back to her.
He did not expect her to be so close to him. She surprises herself as well. But the pull he always had on her still works.
'I wanted to ask you to marry me today, I wanted to make you mine so nobody had a say in it anymore...' he sighs and she cups his cheek and tilts his head.
His eyes meet hers, a smile plays on her lips while a single tear slides down her soft cheek. 'Wasn't so hard was it?'
To every outsider it would sound as mockery but he knows better than to think of it that way.
'It's the best thing I've ever done, besides loving you..'
'Don't drop me again, figuratively and physically, please...'
'Are you insane? I'm never letting go...' he pulls her against him again and she lays one hand on his shoulder while the other remains on his cheek. 'Marry me...'
'Yes...but only if you'll dance with me...' she jokes.
He doesn't take it as a joke and immediately takes her hand from his cheek and into his while the other snakes around her back.
'I'll dance with you for as long as you want...'
