A/N: Wow ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) This is (old) art of Sekido when he is using his Blood Demon Art and/or when he gets emotional! By the way, his horn is broken because of the breadstick accident at Olive Garden!
Anyway, I hope you all enjoy this chapter!

You huff out of your nose before nodding.
"Shinazugawa, what did they-"
"-He was just telling her what's happening. Then he asked her if it was alright for him to answer our question." Sanemi summarizes for Uzui and the others.
"Which makes no fucking sense," Sanemi frowns, "Since you had no problems insulting her dead mother earlier."
"I don't know what to tell you, dude." You shrug, "Things just happen."
Sekido clears his throat: "I haven't... really talked about my Blood Demon Art before since it freaks me out, so bare with me... Since I only told (Y/n) a brief description of my Blood Art last time, I'll also be mentioning it to her now that I have the chance."
"My Demon Blood Art is heavily related to quantum mechanics, space and time, and all that crap. I can tear the fabric between space and time to travel to different timelines and Universes without any repercussions."
Holy crap!
"It also allows me to use something similar to forced telepathy; I can link two or more different consciousnesses together, it's easier to do if one person is sleeping."
Sekido furrows his eyebrows: "I can do this since quantum mechanics allows me to manipulate the atoms in space. And since every living thing is made of stardust, we are all part of the Universe in some way. So it's not actually hard for me to do, but I'm not eating people everyday, so I have to do my best to reserve my energy."
After Sekido tells you the same thing, you all stare at him in silence.
"...."
"...."
"...."
"...."
"...."
"...."
"That's it."
"Bruh."
And then there was an uproar.
"How has Kibutsuji Muzan not found you yet?!" Sanemi asks, "With a Blood Demon Art like that, he would've heard about you!"
"Kibutsuji Muzan hasn't found me because..." Sekido looks at you before shrugging slightly, "Well, because I'm never here in this timeline for a long time. I'm always on the move, I don't really like staying in one place."
"So, how is your Blood Art keeping (Y/n) alive?" Tanjiro asks.
Sekido rubs his neck, this next part will always be the worst: "Please brace yourself. It's... disturbing. I have a tear opened around (Y/n) that's connected to her original world, it's opened at all times. It's not a big tear, it just has to exist for it to do its job."
"Since (Y/n) is not from this Universe, her original Universe would try to take her atoms back. But since this world has already accommodated her existence the moment she arrived, it will try to keep her atoms here as well."
"If the tear closes at any moment, (Y/n)'s body will be pulled between the two Universes since they are both fighting to keep the balance of atoms equal. Every cell in her body would be split into halves in less than a minute after the tear closes."
Everyone's heart dropped to their stomach.
"It's different if I take her back on my own, since whenever I use my Blood Demon Art, I don't get the repercussions that follow." Sekido finishes.
Tanjiro snaps his head to look up at you. You were playing with some loose strings on your hospital shirt with a bored expression.
"How long has (Y/n) kno-Does she know?" Kyojuro asks.
"It was the first thing I told her when I first met her about 4 weeks ago," Sekido replies.
Four weeks?! You've known about the danger you were in for four weeks?! And you didn't say anything?! But your scent, your sound, there was no panic, no fear!! You've known for four weeks?!?!
"(Y/n)!"
You jump at the sound of Uzui's voice.
"Why didn't you say anything before?!" He scowls.
You look around the room to see everyone is looking at you with a mixture of panic, concern, and some anger.
You look back at Sekido for a translation.
"Uzui wants to know why you didn't tell anyone about the whole 'I'm prone to an easy death because of this demon' thing when you've known for like 4 weeks." Sekido replies.
"Uzui," You chuckle light heartily, "I'm not exactly skilled in the Japanese department. And no one else knew enough English to hold a complicated conversation with me."
Uzui didn't understand you, which ironically only proved your point further.
"Uzui, (L/n) can't speak Japanese," Sanemi answers instead, "No one else speaks English. And I wasn't in a hurry to come see her since I didn't know about this. She doesn't have anyone who can talk to her."
"Why did you bring her here?" Shinobu asks.
Sekido groans as he hides his face in his hands, "Ugh, okay. This is actually super embarrassing. I swear it's never happened to me before."
Uzui had to will himself not to laugh at the double entendre.
"In my free time, which I have a lot of, I travel to different Universes and timelines to experience all the different cultures and shit like that. The one I was visiting beforehand, had a child predator on the loose. He's been after girls who were mixed-races."
Oh yike.
"And let me tell you, timelines are fucking weird. The reason why this guy was kidnapping mixed-raced girls, was because in that timeline, there were only 'pure breeds'."
Oh????
"So I had to look through a different Universe for someone who was mixed, someone I could use as bait to get rid of him. And that's when I found (Y/n)."
You didn't know what Sekido was saying, but you gave a small peace sign when the attention turned to you.
"(Y/n) is both Mexican and (Nationality). And it was convenient for her too. Since at the time, she was about to get burned alive or shot in the head or something."
"WHAT?!"
"Yeah, so anyway-"
"-Wait-Wait-Wait-Wait!" Uzui waves his hands frantically in the air, "(Y/n) was going to get killed?!"
"Yes, pay attention-"
"-What did she do?!" Kyojuro frets.
"Nothing...?" Sekido replies, confused, "I mean, she was in and out of consciousness for the whole thing so. So she couldn't really do anything."
"Idiot! What did she do for herself to be targeted like that?!" Sanemi shouts.
Sanemi doesn't really care about you, but this was like some novel he read once.
"Oh, um," Sekido looks at you, "That part really isn't for me to say."
"But any-who!" Sekido claps, "When I saved her, I had to re-hydrate her since she was drowned with gasoline. So af-"
"-SHE WHAT?!"
What kind of fucked up life did you have before you came here?!
"She was drowned in gasoline, so I saved her. Pay. Attention." Sekido huffs, "So after all that, I opened a tear to go back to the other timeline but..."
"What did you do?" Tanjiro was scared to ask, but he had to since no one else did.
If the current story was anything to go by, he's not sure he would be able to emotionally handle what happens next.
Everyone (Maybe Sanemi too, he hasn't decided yet) was definitely going to have a heart-to-heart with you after this.
"I opened the wrong tear and dropped (Y/n) here to the middle of some forest by accident. I wanted to get her back, but I was too low on energy to open up another tear right away. Then the sun began to rise, so I had to hide away."
Tanjiro felt something when he heard that.
Tanjiro only found you because he smelled something sweet from the forest. And he almost ignored, but then he heard a frustrated scream. And Tanjiro almost ignored it again since he was in a hurry to his next mission.
But his conscience was telling him to go and make sure everything was okay first.
"When I went back to the forest that night to get her, she was gone. I tried to find her again, but it was harder to track her since the mark had disappeared. I've been looking for her since that day, and whelp, here we are." Sekido scratches his neck.
"So, any questions?"
All hands were raised.
Sekido calls on you: "Yes, (Y/n)."
"The fuck did you just tell them?"
"How I found you and how I got you here."
"Oh, okay."
"Any more questions?"
All hands but yours were raised.
Sekido points at the other female: "Kocho."
"Can we backtrack for a minute? (L/n) was about to be killed before you intervened? How did that even happen?"
Sekido nods: "Does anyone have a question that isn't about (Y/n) almost dying?"
All hands were dropped.
"Right. Well, like I said, that's something you need to ask her yourself. But she won't be able to tell you anything more than I did. Because like I said, she was in and out of consciousness that whole time." Sekido answers.
Sanemi turns to you then: "What the hell happened to you before you were brought here? You were drowned with gasoline and was about to get shot? Why?"
You let out a puff of air before chuckling, "Um, well I kind of told you all about it at the Pillar meeting. I was just walking home and that was all I was able to remember at that time. Now, I remember everything. I uh..."
When you remembered everything, it really made you feel like shit.
You always tried to find the bright side of things through the trauma. To laugh at the inappropriate times to help you cope. But even though you were out of it, you could still remember the pain you went through.
The fact that it was all happening and you weren't even aware of it, it made it more terrifying to think about. Then (F/n) had just left you...
They were still asking you to talk about it even though they had a brief summary, so that must mean they just didn't care if you were comfortable with it or not.
You didn't want to talk about it, but it's obvious that what you wanted didn't mattered right now.
"Well," You blow out a small puff of air, "I was-"
"Maybe you shouldn't talk about it-"
"Let's stop right here, we should-"
"I think we save that talk for another-"
Tanjiro, Uzui, and Kyojuro (in that order) all spoke at the same time. You let out an 'oh!' before laughing.
"Well, as Uzui and Tanjiro were about to say as well, we should postpone this topic for a different time. It might be a sensitive subject to touch, if what Sekido told us was anything to go by." Kyojuro says with a smile.
"Right, for now, we should focus on what we're going to do about Sekido's and (Y/n)'s situation," Tanjiro agrees, "(Y/n), what do you want to do?"
You furrow your eyebrows, "What do you mean?"
"What's the demon girl's name?" Sekido asks you to keep up appearances.
"Nezuko."
"Yeah, I can't be a Demon Slayer like Nezuko," Sekido tells you, "Even if the amount of people I've eaten is low for a demon, I still did it. So the Headmaster of the Demon Slayer Corps won't welcome me with open arms like he did with Nezuko."
"Well, we can't exactly have you walking around on your own anymore." Sanemi says, "If Upper Moon Three knows about you now, they might come after you. There's also the danger of other Demon Slayers who might try to kill you."
"Well, I'm not staying here," Sekido chuckles, "The room service sucks. Zero stars."
"Can't we just get Sekido a box?" Tanjiro asks, "Like the one I have for Nezuko?"
"You want me... to shrink down and be put in a dank ass box? And have this bitch-" Sekido points to you, "-carry me with her clumsy ass?"
Sekido flips him off, "Fuck that noise. I rather walk in the sun and take my fucking chances."
Kyojuro frowns, "Please refrain from bad mouthing (Y/n). She is the only reason we haven't killed you yet."
"Oh my God, you're such a simp." Sekido groans.
"Sekido, you don't wanna go into a tiny box?" You grin, "A teeny weeny, itty bitty box?"
"No. Fuck off."
Your grin only widens as you start to baby talk him, "You wanna be put in a small box? You wanna be my little buddy? Oh! I can carry you in my pocket and feed you small crackers!"
Sekido scrunches up his nose, "I will-"
"-Sekido will be put into a box." Shinobu interrupts.
"Ha!"
"What?! Come on-"
"-That is, if Master Oyakata will allow you both to live. We still have to inform him and the other Pillars of everything."
You suddenly feel very uneasy about that. Uzui and Tanjiro were the first ones who were able to tell.
"Sekido has eaten people. Even if he's only devoured a small amount compared to an average demon, he still did it." You move your forearms to rest against your knees, "If anything, Sekido and I have a higher chance of survival if he just sent me back. That way, my life isn't in danger, and Sekido would be away from Muzan."
Sekido looks at you with an unreadable expression as Sanemi translates to the others.
You're right.
If Sekido just sent you back, then he could leave to another timeline and both you and himself would be safe. He wouldn't have to worry about not dying, and you wouldn't have to worry about him dying and yourself.
Sekido wouldn't have to worry if you were in danger.
Sekido wouldn't have to worry if you ate a proper meal.
Sekido wouldn't have to worry if you slept okay.
Sekido wouldn't have to worry if you were emotionally sound.
Sekido wouldn't have to look at his hand for 60 seconds, wondering if the mark will reappear or if you were gone for good.
Sekido wouldn't have to worry about you anymore like he did the last two months since your arrival.
"You can take her back?" Tanjiro asks with a quiet voice, "Now?"
"At any time." Sekido's eyes don't leave your form, "(Y/n) just has to give me the word."
"Do you... want to go back, (Y/n)?" Kyojuro asks softly
You furrow your eyebrows together in thought.
Do you want to go back home?
Last time you were asked this question, you couldn't answer because you were out of time. But now?
Do you want to go back home?
What was waiting for you back at home? Did anyone miss you? Did anyone file you missing? Did they announce you dead? Did everyone forget about you already?
Do you want to go back home?
You miss your dad. You miss your brothers. You miss your sisters. You missed your little pet, Peeve, he was a cute fish. You wonder if Peeve died since you've been gone. You miss your dog.
And you miss the small number of friends you had.
You miss (F/n), the son of a bitch. You wonder how he's doing, you wonder what he's doing. You miss Cole; one of your favorite blonde boys. You miss Hazel, the (not so) chaotic lesbian.
You miss home.
Do you want to go back home?
Well, you already had your answer the moment the question was asked.
You inhale through your nose before looking at Sekido: "I want-"
