"Aiya-san" you called out to your sister
Your sister bend down and started patting your head "What is it Y/N?"
"Why don't I have any friends?" you asked
Your sister looked at you "I guess, you have to make one, you can talk to other people and ask if you can be their friend" she said while smiling
Your face lit up "Really, then I'm going to talk to the other kids outside!" you said while running to the door
"Ok Take care! " your sister said with a smile
You walked to the other kids and started to talk to them
But when you go to them, they will immediately go away.
You decided to go to the swing where there's no one around and started to cry.
"Do they not like me? " you said to yourself while crying
"That's not true" you heard a boy talk to you
You lift your head and saw him. His eyes fixated to yours
Those eyes
"What's your name? " he asked
You looked at him while wiping your tears and smiled
"Y/N" you said softly
Those words
"I'm Keiji" he said
are the things I can't forget
"Uhm, can we be f-friends" you mumbled
He looked at you and smiled softly
"If you want to" he said
Your face brighten up and you jumped
"YES! I MADE A NEW FRIEND!! " you said happily
The boy laughed at your actions and can't help but smile at how cute you are

You and Keiji started to hang out everyday, playing games, eating and doing other things
And somehow you felt like he completes all of you.
His genuine smile, his kindness everything about him is perfect
You wondered what will happen if he didn't talk to you that day.
"Keiji Let's play tag" you said happily
"Not now, it's getting dark already" he said
You started running away from him
"Y/N" he called you
"Are you afraid to lose?" you said while running faster
He runs after you and his vision is getting a little blurry because it's getting darker
As you ran, you noticed a car rushing beside you, you just stared at it
"Watch out! "
a loud crash was heard
"Keiji"
The young girl ran out to his friend who tried to save her
"Wake up, please wake up" the girl said while sobbing
"Please"
"Please wake up Keiji!" you yelled while crying
People started gathering in the area
"Y/N" you heard your sister called out to you
"Keiji! " you heard a woman called to your friend
"Are you hurt Y/N?" your sister asked
You can't stop crying
"Keiji... " you mumbled
Aiya-san looked at the boy with a worried face
"Keiji!" his mom go to the boy and carry him
"I'm going to bring him to the hospital, you can come if you want" the woman looked at you and your sister
Y/N stood up and follow the boy's mom together with her sister

"Is it something serious" the mom asked frantically
"I'm afraid it's serious, he bumped his head hard and there's an internal bleeding..." the doctor paused
"I think we need to conduct a sugery but..."
"What?" your sister asked
"I'm afraid he'll lose a few of his memories"
You started to cry, your sister hugged you.
"Is he going to forget about me?" you asked your sister while crying
Your sister calmed you down.
"It's okay Y/N" she said while patting your head

"He's fine now, luckily the internal bleeding stopped and we don't need to conduct a surgery" the doctor said
"Where is he?" his mom asked
"Here" the doctor leads the way to a room
You saw Keiji, laying on the bed, sleeping
"Oh Keiji, I'm so sorry, I've been so busy all day that I can't take care of you, sorry" his mom said while crying
"No" you interrupted
His mom looked at you
"It's all my fault, It's should've been me, I shouldn't have..." you said while crying your heart out
His mom looked at you
"It's okay, he always tells me that he found a friend that he wants to protect, and to cherish forever" she said
"I never thought he will find someone like you, a kind young lady" she said
You started to cry again
His mom hugged you. "I know it's hard, but I have to distance Keiji away from you for his own good" she cried
"I never wanted to distance him from his friend who make him so happy and complete, but I have to" she continued
"I don't want him to remember the pain he felt" she said
You looked at her. "It's okay, if it's for his sake, even though it's hard to be away from him, I will accept it" you said
His mom cries more "Why is this happening?"

You never left his side while he's still in the hospital bed.
You held his hand
"Sorry Keiji, this shouldn't have happened if I'm not a crazy brat" you said
"and it hurts seeing you like this" you continued, you started crying
"It's hard to be away from you but you have to be away, from me" you said
"You might not remember me, but if we ever meet again..."
You held his hand tighter
"I wanted to start things over"
