Autonomy

               I'm not made up of costumes
               that could bring shivers
               on a midday blizzard.
              
               I'm not crafted from silvery orbs,
               falling from the woolgatherings
               of your fruitless pockets.
              
               I'm not a barricade tape
               purposely fixed
               on unexpected hazards;
              
               and I wasn't designed
               to fit within
               your insatiable cravings.
              
               Composed of fractures,
               empty spaces
               and winding abyss,
              
               I don't need
               your approval
               to exist.
