i wake up on y/n's couch
oh right, i took a nap here
i get up and head to y/n's room
i knock on the door
techno: "hallo"
y/n: "come in"
i open the door to a comfortable y/n reading a book
techno: "what are you doing"
y/n: "reading"
i chuckle
techno: "as if that wasn't painfully obvious"
y/n: "okay tEcHno"
Techno: "okay 𝗮𝗽𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗲"

she chuckles
y/n: "good to know you know your greek mythology"
techno: "i mean that is what you're reading right now right?"
y/n: "yep"
they keep their eyes glued to the book
y/n: "forgot to mention, can we go to the library today? i need to return some books"
techno: "yeah sure, let me go and freshen up"
they get up and place their book down
they approach me and ruffle my hair
y/n: "you probably should fix your hair"
i laugh and nod

honestly, something about him choosing that goddess from the rest makes me feel a bit suspicious but
it wasn't bad
i got ready as techno freshened up
-timeskip-
(you guys are at the car)
i listened as mitski played
i hummed along and me and techno sat in a comfortable silence. the one where all we needed was each other's company to feel safe.
he tapped his finger on the steering wheel to the beat of the song
me occasionally looking over to techno
and him occasionally looking towards me
y/n: "do you think Toast is ok?"
Techno looks over to me and nods
he gives a comforting smile, hard to not believe him
Techno: "haven't been at the library in a while"
y/n: "i don't blame you, you're usually busy"
techno: "also, libraries are for nerdssss"
y/n: "that was bound to happen"
he laughs and i join him
once we arrive we enter the building and i greet the librarian
she was a short old woman. she was nice and didn't really scream or get mad at anyone
i hand her my books and she happily takes them
techno: "are you getting new books?"
y/n: "yeah, wanna come?"
techno nods and i take his hand towards the books. we walk together through the shelf's of books. searching through the books for something we would read
at one point he moves to the other side of the shelf and we look for books
secretly waiting to run into each other
going through the library with techno felt relaxing. it was nice having techno around. sure we would hang out before jarred, but something about me and techno seems different
i chose to ignore it though.
i place my hand on the spine of the books and trace my hand along the books spines.
i walk through the aisle, walking softly
i hear technos footsteps from the other side of the shelf. i look through a gap and see his hand tracing the spine of a book approaching my hand
we approach each other, the shelf being a barrier
once we stood along side each other i make a gap between the books and techno does the same
i look through and see a smiling techno. i smile back towards him
techno: "well hello there"
y/n: "why hello techno"
he chuckles
techno: "did ya find anything?"
y/n: "yeah i found this"
i show him a book about the savior Theseus
techno: "wow you really are a nerd"
y/n: "look when you were talking about theseus i found it cool, cant blame me"
he chuckles softly
techno: "you're cute"
he closes his gap and walks away
i stood in the middle of the aisle frozen
oh god.
i take my hands and cover my face
i feel someone's hands take my hands away from my face
it was techno
he laughs softly
i look down and softly punch his shoulder
y/n: "you're an idiot"
i whisper
techno: "how cruel mx. y/l/n, shall we go now?"
i nod and he chuckles
he takes the books in my hands and walks to the librarian
i follow behind him as he check the books out
when he finishes, he gives me my books
techno: "let's go nerd"
y/n: "shut up"
