Well, it's my very first father's day and when I tell you I'm excited, I mean it. My amazing wife and my awesome son are here to celebrate it with me, and that's all that matters. Liz told me she has a surprise for me and I've been jumping to conclusions.
She could be pregnant.
I'd have another kid.
We'd go from a family of 5 to a family of 6.
"Bren!", Liz called, snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Yes?"
"I have to show you your surprise now."
"Uh, okay?"
"Don't be nervous, it's nothing bad."
"Now I'm very nervous."
"Just come on!"
I walked in the room and Liz was wearing a see through cover up.
"Oh god, what happened."
She undid the front and there was a tiny bump.
"We're having another baby?", I asked.
"We're having another baby.", she smiled.
"Oh my god!", I picked her up, kissing her..
"Liz, I'm so excited! Do you know what it is?", I asked.
"We find out tomorrow.", she smiled, tears escaping her eyes.
"Baby, don't cry. I've always wanted another one."
"I know. I'm so happy we tried again."
"Me too. I'll love you and this little nugget so much."
"And Max.", she giggled.
"And Max.", I chuckled.
