Aang arrives at the flame restaurant at exactly 6:30 pm.
The place looked really nice. There was a small red carpet that led to the entrance of the door and two people waiting at the door and when Aang went in he saw many people who were eating, some looked like young couples and old couples and newly married couples. Aang was about to make another step when a guy stopped him by asking.
"Do you have a reservation" the waiter asked
"I -Uh-" aang was interrupted by a lady's voice.
"He's with me" the lady said
When Aang looked to see who it was. He saw onji.
"Oh onji, you look nice," Aang said.
"Thank you. So do you" onji replied with a smile.
"Thank you" aang said also smiling
"So miss, do you have a reservation?" the waiter asked.
"Uh yes I do" onji replied.
"Under what name?"
"Onji" she replied.
"Hmmm onji onji onji" the waiter said, going down the list with his finger.
"Ah here onji. Dinner for two" the waiter said.
"Yes" onji said
"Ok follow me" the waiter said, grabbing two menus.
They follow the waiter. As they follow the waiter they see the bar and on the other side of the bar is the kitchen they can see the chefs cooking and it smells like steak and roasted chicken.
They arrive at their table.
"Here we are" the waiter said
Aang pulls up a chair for onji.
"Thank you" onji said.
"No problem" aang said pushing onji's chair back.
Aang goes to his side of the table and sits down.
The waiter hands them the menus.
"I'll leave you two to decide on what you want" the waiter said leaving.
Aang looked at the menu and saw the prices and his eyes widened.
"Uh onji are you sure I can't at least help you pay?" Aang said
"Like I said, I got it covered," onji said looking from her menu to aang.
"Are you sure?" Aang asked
"Yes aang." Onji said.
They waiter came back.
"Ok what will your orders be?" The waiter asked. Bringing out his pen and notepad.
"Uh can I have the lemongrass roasted chicken." Onji said
"Ok one lemongrass roasted chicken." The waiter said writing it down on his notepad.
"How about you sir?" The waiter asked.
"Uh can I have the Crispy Vegetable Tofu Dumplings." Aang said
"Ah yes the crispy vegetable tofu dumplings" the waiter said writing it down on his notepad.
"Ok is that it?" The waiter asked
Onji looked at aang and aang nodded.
"Yes" onji replied.
"Ok what would be your drinks then. Would you like some wine?" The waiter asked.
Onji looked at Aang again and asked.
"Do you want?" Onji asked
"Uh sure I guess" aang said.
"Ok. What do you recommend?" Onji said looking from Aang to the waiter.
"I would recommend the Screaming Eagle Cabernet Sauvignon or the Domaine Leroy Chambertin Grand Cru" the waiter said. Pointing at the menu where the wine is.
"Hmmm what do you think aang?" Onji asked
"Uh I don't know you can pick." Aang said
"Ok then. We'll have the Domaine Leroy Chambertin Grand Cru." Onji said closing the menu.
"Ok nice choice. thank you Ms. And Sir. I'll be back with your orders." The waiter said, taking the menus.
There was scilence for a while until aang spoke up.
"Ok so um tell me about yourself" aang said
"Ok so as you know I'm onji and I'm 22 years old" onji said
"Ok well I'm as you know also I'm aang and I'm 21 and a half and in part own a bakery shop with my best friend katara." Aang said.
"Ok katara I think I remember you mentioning her once. I think when we were at sokka's house." Onji said.
Aang chokes on his saliva . "Uh yea"
(I absolutely hate when you just randomly chock on saliva)
"Are you ok?" Onji asked.
"Sorry I'm just a little parched," aang said.
"Oh" onji said and then raised her hand to call a waiter.
A waiter comes by and asked
"Yes mam?"
"Uh can you get us a glass of water?" Onji asked.
"Yes coming right away" the waiter said then walking away to get the water.
A few seconds later the waiter comes back with the water and pours it onto their glasses.
As soon as the waiter is done pouring water, Aang quickly gets it and drinks the water.
"Feel better?" Onji asked.
"Yes thank you" aang said.
They converse talking about random things until the food comes.
"Here sir and ms. Your food" the waiter says setting down their food.
Then the waiter brings out a bottle of the wine they ordered. Then pours it in their wine glasses.
Onji takes the first sip. "Ooh wow this is good" onji said.
Aang takes his first sip and his eyes widen. "Wow this is probably the best wine I have ever tasted."
After aang was done admiring the wine. They took a bite out of their food.
Aang's eyes widen and start to admire his food. "Wow this food is so good."
"I agree my chicken is good, you wanna try?" Onji asks.
"Uh no thanks I'm actually vegetarian."Aang says politely declining.
"Ok um sorry" onji said, feeling embarrassed.
"It's ok I forgot to tell you" aang said.
They continue to eat and converse.
"Hahaha that's funny. So katara is sokka's sister?" Onji asks for confirmation.
"Yes and she's my best friend," Aang said enthusiastically.
"Well my best friend hide is such an idiot but he's my best friend." Onji says chuckling.
"Maybe one day we can hang out with each other" aang suggested.
"Maybe" onji said
Onji raises her hand to call the waiter.
The waiter comes and asks. "Yes mam?"
"Can I ask for the bill?" Onji asks
"Uh yes mam I'll get it" the waiter says and walking to the cashier.
Few moments later the waiter came back with the bill. Onji took a look then got her purse and got out her credit card then put it inside the thingy and the waiter took it and left.
"So where are we going after this?" Aang asked.
"It's a surprise" a onji said excitedly
The waiter came back with onji's card and receipt. "Here you go Ma'm" the waiter said handing it out to her.
"Thank you" onji said taking it and getting her card and receipt and putting it in her purse.
So aang and onji get out of the restaurant.
"Ok where to now?" Aang asked.
"Ok it's just nearby let's just walk." Onji said.
"Ok" aang replied.
So they walk for 5 mins.
"Ok we're here." Onji said.
It was decent looking building with a neon sign saying.
"Hotman Dancing club?" Aang questioned.
"Yes we're going dancing," Onji said, grabbing Aang's arm and leading him Inside.
They go inside and they see people dancing and a bar and a few seats for people to sit when they are tired.
"Come on let's dance." Onji said
"Ok" aang said.
So they dance.
"I didn't know you were a great dancer," onji said.
"Well now you know." Aang said. Doing some fancy moves.
Aang is really enjoying himself and also enjoying onji's company.
After 30 mins of dancing they decided to take a rest.
"Ok your turn where are we going?" Onji asks.
"You'll see." Aang said
So they get their stuff and leave.
They walk for about 10 mins when they reach the park.
"The park?" Onji questioned.
"I figured we would need a place to cool down and just talk." Aang said.
"Ok" onji said.
"Follow me I know a really pretty place in the park at night." Aang said grabbing his onji's hand.
(Let's say the park in HUGE)
They arrive at a small hill with a tree and under the tree is a bench and you can see the pond and the moon and a small view of the city.
"Wow it's beautiful here." Onji said admiring the view.
"Yeah. When I used to have really bad nightmares katara would walk with me and go here." Aangs said looking from the moon to the ground.
(Let's say that katara and sokka stayed in aang's house a lot cause Hakoda is always going somewhere)
"Do you live nearby?" Onji asked.
"Uh yea around 10 mins from here." Aang replied.
"Anyway I just wanted to tell you that. I'm not entirely sure I want to be a relationship I'm just trying to get over someone and I really love her and for the longest time and I don't think she sees me in that way and I decided maybe it's time to move on and I haven't been a date in a while the last time I did was in high school. I'm sorry if you wanted a relationship." Aang said, keeping his head down and looking at the moon reflection on the pond.
"Oh. It's ok if you're not ready yet in the meantime I'll try to help you move on." Onji said, smiling at aang.
Aang lifted his head and smiled at onji.
"Thanks," aang said.
They just sit there in silence for a while.
"Ok why don't we head back to the parking lot." Onji said.
"Sure," Aang said, standing up.
They walk back to the parking lot.
"Thanks onji." Aang said
"No problem" onji said then kissing aang on the cheek
Onji went in her car while Aang just stood there.
Then aang waved bye to onji. Then he went to his car and drove back home.
