'Sorry guys as this is a VIP patient I can't let any of you in here',
I could hear Jackson say outside of the door, I heard the interns mumble,
'who is it!',
One of the interns yell, Jackson didn't respond as he opened the door and walked in, he looke down at his tablet,
'so what can I-',
Jackson went to ask but he stop part way through as he looked up, I awkwardly smiled at me,
'Doctor Avery',
I said to him, he smiled at me slightly shaking his head,
'y/n you want plastic surgery?',
Jackson asked me extremely confused and sounding slightly concerned, I smiled softly at him and nodded my head,
'why? you're perfectly beautiful just as you are',
Jackson said sitting down on the stool and wheeling over to me, I looked away from him as I could feel myself blush a little,
'Jackson, look at my patient history',
I said not wanting to have to explain everything, he looked at me confused before opening my file,
'you had double mastectomy 3 months ago, thats why you went on leave and then did light duties for a few weeks',
Jackson said slowly realising things, I nodded my head at him,
'stage 3 breast cancer but I'm officially clear and want to feel more like myself again; this isn't for vanity this is for me',
I said to him, he smiled at me and nodded his head,
'let's get this started then',
Jackson said standing up, I nodded my head and smiled at him,
'yes but you have to promise me you won't tell anyone here about this because the only person that knows is Bailey?'.
