Kiara's POV
My dad slammed his hand on the office desk and said, 'I am in absolute disbelief about the disaster you guys have the company in, you guys have been in charge for a few months and you mean to tell me millions of dollars are already missing, I'm sorry hundreds of millions.'
I was about to butt in because he was wrong very wrong. The money wasn't stolen whilst Marc and I were in charge, it was stolen before us Andrew and I had just found out in past financial documents that came from the London Branch. He looked at me telling me to keep quiet and I decided to do just that keep quiet.
He was fuming and he took a deep breathe and said, 'I believe I made the right decision here with the two of you. Fucking fix this.'
He got up and walked out and slammed the office door behind him. I couldn't help but roll my eyes and Marcello turned to me and said, 'We are fixing this to embarass uncle right?'
I nodded and said, 'Damn right.'
We shared a high five and he said, 'Okay right, let's get going then. We are leaving for London at five pm so let's tie up loose ends so when we get there we are done and we are handling business.'
We went to our different offices and I started putting all my documents together and in order. I had already figured out who was stealing and how and all we had left to do was to handle the people involved and get people to replace those employees. Marcello and I decided that we might as well check out the entire branch.
I heard the door open and I heard Jamie say, 'Boss.'
Lately Jamie had been trying out different names to call me and she wanted me to embrace them all so that's what I was doing. I looked up and Jamie said, 'Mr Bianchi said I should ask you if you want my assistance with you in London.'
I hummed and said, 'Do you want to take a trip to London because I don't mind you coming?'
She seemed excited and she gave me a bug smile and she whispered, 'Yes please.'
I nodded, my phone pinged and it was a message from Marcello telling me we should leave to pack because we are taking off soon. I looked up at her from my phone and I said, 'Well we better leave now so we can pack we need to be at the tarmac at five.'
She nodded and I said, 'Do you want me to give you a ride because we need to get ready for the trip?'
She frantically nodded and said, 'Oh yes please.'
Jamie rushed out to pack what she needed for the trip from her desk. I smiled and started packing all my drawing materials, my iPad, laptop and the financial documents I wanted physical copies of.
I heard a knock on the door and the person didn't wait for a come in and walked in. I turned around and it was Andrew and he seemed to have all of his stuff ready. I gave him a brief smile and turned around and continued to pack and said, 'Are we going to not tell your father that the money was stolen when he was still CEO because he came and gave me a lecture?'
I picked up all my stuff and we left my office together and I locked the door. Andrew and I walked to the exclusive elevator and I said, 'No we are just going to fix it and embarass him. '
He nodded and said, 'Gotcha. '
We exited the building and I went to my car where Jamie was waiting. I unlocked the car for her and she got in and I turned to Andrew and he said, 'See you in like two hours?'
I nodded and said, 'Exactly.'
From my peripheral view I saw Kieran coming in this direction. My eyes widened and I said, 'Andrew don't look but Kieran is coming.'
He furrowed his eyebrows and said, 'Why does that matter?'
I let out a breathe and said, 'There was a thing that happened last night.'
His face morphed to one of understanding and then he walked away and I just gaped at him. I opened my car door and turned to Kieran while holding the car door and he said, 'Hey.'
I nodded and said, 'Was there something you wanted?'
He nodded with an understanding look and said, 'I wanted to talk.'
I looked at my phone and said, 'I can't.'
He waited for an explanation so I let out a breathe and said, 'We are going to pack, we are leaving for London in a bit so I can't. '
I got into the car and he nodded understandily and I gave him a quick small smile. I closed the car door and I started the car, I turned to Jamie and she had her eyes widened comically and I laughed at her expression. I opened the car window and he came and said, 'Okay but I want to talk about this.'
I nodded and he leant into the car and said, 'So can I have a kiss?'
I couldn't help the smile that grew and he smiled back. I gave him a kiss and he smiled as we pulled apart and he said, 'I'll text you.'
I nodded, he stepped away from the car and I reversed. Jamie hummed and said, 'You guys are so cute.'
I couldn't help but smile and I said, 'Occassionally. So how hot is he?'
She nodded and said, 'Well he is pretty hot which makes you guys a hot couple.'
I shook my head and I said, 'You can type in your address. Do you want me to pick you up on my way?'
She nodded and said, 'Yes please.'
I let out a breathe and as we were driving through the traffic I was just thinking about Kieran and last night. I know, I'm definitely sure that Daniel he isn't angry, he loves his brother and I could see that. In a way he wanted his brother to approve of him, love him and I really saw all the effort he had been trying to put in.
I got home and my stylist was already there. My stylist had brought outfits for me to take to London with me because it was different weather and also I needed to look good we were going for the kill.
Everyone included was getting arrested and we had already sorted out all of the lawsuits. We had planned everything so well that it could be done whilst we were here but going was just for fun, we owe it to them. It wouldn't be in true fashion of us if we didn't rile people up a little bit.
We had landed in London and we were all going to our hotel to recuperate. We had a team of five people which was Marcello, Andrew, Jamie, Lance and I. Andrew had been complaining the entire flight about how he was the only who didn't have an assistant here.
I was going to spend the night going through the finance enployees making sure they are all qualified and hard workers. We were doing an entire scan of the London Branch and clean it out of needed. We had two days to sort it out before the new employees taking over were arriving and getting started.
I had ordered my room service and opted out of dinner with the others because I wanted to be by myself and just relax. I had been really into what I was doing because it was already three in the morning. I groaned and went to shower and get changed into my pyjamas.
Tomorrow the CEO, CFO, Deputy CFO and Marketing Director were having a big breakfast with the guys and I would head to the office straight away.
I was meant to be waiting for all of them to return to the building and I was supposed to be there to scare them as soon as they arrived.
I picked up my phone and that's when I saw that Kieran had texted me. I quickly shot him a quick text back and got comfy in my bed and as I was falling back asleep my phone started ringing. I reached for my phone and answered it without looking to see who it was.
I waited for someone to say sonething and I could just hear heavy breathing. I sat up and looked to see who it was and it was an unknown number. I could not for the life of me figure out who would call my private number with an unknown number.
I furrowed my eyebrows and said, 'Hello?'
I heard a sigh and then I heard Harry say, 'Kiara.'
I let out a breathe, rolled my eyes and said, 'Harry why are you calling me?'
He answered me and said, 'I just needed to hear your voice.'
I made a face and said, 'Okay.'
He let out a breathe and he said, 'My father passed away Kiara.'
My heart dropped because I knew Harry's father, we had gotten along, he was a kind, soft hearted man. After a little bit I said, 'Oh Harry, I'm so sorry.'
He started sobbing and my heart was aching for Harry. I let Harry cry into the phone and I was just whispering words of comfort trying to make him feel better. I just listened to him in absolute helplessness because I was in London it's not like I could go check on him.
Harry ended up falling asleep when it was five in the morning here so I barely got any sleep.
