It was not Christmas Day and you and Charlie had been dating for a few months at this point.
"Charlie I don't know what to wear!" You exclaimed.
"It doesn't matter mom likes you anyways you don't need to impress her."
Charlie had come over early that morning to you wearing a random shirt and some leggings throwing things from your closet. It was Christmas Eve and the first time you would go over to the burrow after the whole argument with George. You could not for the life of you however find anything to wear.
"But I have to look nice. What if she sees me and just kicks me out."
"You know she wouldn't do that. Is there something else your nervous about?" Charlie asked giving you a I-know-what-you-are-actually-scared-of-look.
"Fine! I'm scared because of George. I really don't want him to throw a fit tonight."
"If he throws a fit I'll throw a bigger fit."
"Alright." You laughed.
You got up from the bed and grabbed a dress and threw it on.
"What about this?"you asked now wearing a beautiful green velvety dress that was more flowey than tight. It's sleeves tied in the back and it was very pretty if you did say so for yourself.
"It looks beautiful." Charlie said standing up to kiss you. "But I still don't think mom will care what you wear."
"I know." You chuckled.
You took his hand and the two of you apparated to the burrow.
"Charlie! Y/n you guys came!"
"Well if it weren't for y/n I probably would have forgotten."
"Oh don't be so silly." Molly laughed and when she turned away Charlie just looked at you and whispered.
"I wasn't being silly."
"Charlie!" You laughed hitting him on the arm playfully.
"Hello Ginny." You said greeting the youngest Weasley kid as you passed her in the kitchen.
"I keep forgetting your dating Charlie." She laughed looking at where your were holding his hand.
"Me too. He's so focused with dragons and all."
"I do not."
"I know. I'm joking."
George caught your eye and glared at you. He didn't have any right to do this considering he was sitting with the girl he cheated on you with his arm around her.
"Hello Ron! Hello bill. Hello fleur. Hello Fred. George." You acknowledged him before continuing. "Harry Hermione nice to see you as well."
"Hello y/n I like your dress." Hermione complimented.
"I also think it's beautiful." Fleur complimented from beside bill.
"Thank you Hermione and Fleur. I really like your guys dresses as well. Especially yours Fleur I love the nice blue color." You smiled.
"She spent all morning trying to find it." Charlie laughed.
"I wanted to look nice. I wouldn't be surprised if you showed up in a tuxedo T-shirt."
"It certainly would be more comfy than this button up." Charlie stated.
"Hey Arthur." You waved to him as he entered the room.
"Hi y/n."
"Molly would you like some help setting the table."
"You don't have to but if you feel obligated you may.
You walked over and used your wand to have the silverware and plates cover the table for people to sit in.
"Molly are we going to have enough room?"
"Are we?"
"I can always set up a canopy outside with a heating charm so there's more room for people to sit."
"If you would like that would be very helpful. Have Charlie help you though."
"Hey Charlie come help me set up a tent outside so there's more seating room."
"Alright one second bill." He said to his brother.
George muttered something.
"Did I hear something." You spat in his direction.
"No." He replied.
"Good. Didn't realize we were on speaking terms."
"George just stop. You messed up they are happy."
Bill and Hermione looked at George.
You and Charlie pulled out a old tent that was last used at the quidditch World Cup from storage and used your wands to set it up. Then you two used the hot air charm to send hot air from your wands and heat it up a bit.
You and Charlie cleaned it up a bit and put out tables before returning outside and carrying the silverware out to the tables outside.
"I think it looks pretty good in here if I do say so myself."
"I think it does too. Who knew this thing would ever come in handy again."
"Right!"
When you returned inside George and bill seemed to be arguing.
"George it's not going to happen let her go."
"Not going to happen? she's obviously not happy with him."
"Not happy with who?" Charlie spat.
"Bloody hell." Ron cursed from next to Hermione.
"Hey I'm going to go find Molly." You said heading off.
"Why are you so convinced she's not happy with me?"
"It's not just her. You don't even want kids what are you doing with her?"
"I didn't want kids. Until I met her, I didn't want kids with some random girl I met from school. I wanted kids if I met someone who could change my perspective on it and y/n did."
"Oh yea and what do you guys try and it doesn't happen?" He looked smug.
"Then it doesn't happen and me and y/n will continue on a happy couple! Having kids doesn't define our happiness unlike some people in this room."
"What do you think your talking about?"
"I'm talking about you George. The guy who cheated on her and told about her problems because he was so desperate to have a biological family he couldn't see the beautiful girl in front of him."
"Charlie let me talk to him." You said coming downstairs.
"Fine but I'm still going to be out here."
"Alright."
You pulled him into a room and cast the muffliato spell. Your were probably going to bring up the letter and you didn't want him to hear.
"What did I tell you?!"
"What do you mean."
"I sent you a long ass letter explaining to you it was never going to work."
"Why can't we just work things out?"
"because you cheated on me and told my most deep secrets. I have Charlie now."
"How are you happy with him?"
"Because he doesn't care. He doesn't care if I can give him a happy huge biological family or not. He doesn't tell people my secrets. I told you in the letter that you needed to let it go because if I was birthing anyone's children it's Charlie's."
"I miss you." He said walking towards you.
"And I haven't thought of you since I sent a letter yelling at you. Now get away from me!"
"We can work this out."
"No we can't! I don't love you. Come to think of it I never even trusted you in the first place. I always had a bad feeling about you."
"Stop lying to yourself it only hurts more."
"Fuck you asshole." You said storming out of the room and walking off to the bathroom.
"Kick him out." Charlie directed towards his mother
"It's Christmas."
"I don't care if it's Christmas or not mom don't you see what he's doing to her. Do you know what he sent me in a letter."
"No but-"
"Exactly no. He told me she was never going to be happy with me and once she realized she wanted kids she was going to leave and go have his children. He's trying to mess with my mind as well. Y/n has done nothing but help you and be kind to you and he cheated on her and hurt her.Stop sticking up for your cheating asshole of a son and kick him the hell out!"
Charlie walked over to the bathroom and opened the door to where you were sitting in the floor with your head in your hands.
"Come on we are gonna get out of here." He said picking you up in his arms
"But your family."
"I don't care about them right now." He said carrying you out of the burrow and apparating to a small restaurant at the halfway point from the burrow to Romania.
"You wait right here for one second."
He ran in and ordered a bunch of Christmas food taking it out to you and you apparated back to his house in Romania.
"This is my type of Christmas. Now you left some pajamas here would you like to go change into them?"
"Mhm." You smiled weakly at him and went to go change.
Charlie at the table with lots of food and pulled out some juice from the store. He didn't have much but he was determined to make it work.
"What is this?"
"Christmas dinner for us. Now I don't have fancy alcohol or anything but there is some apple juice waiting for you."
You laughed and sat down.
"This is some pretty good Christmas dinner considering we got it from a random restaurant to go."
"It is isn't it?" He laughed.
You grabbed you wand and summoned your camera to the two of you.
"Picture for memory's?"
"Why not."
The camera clicked as you and Charlie laughed. While it was developing you and Charlie finished dinner and went to bed.
Meanwhile while you two were eating dinner Molly and the family were all pretty miserable and George had decided not to attend the rest of dinner.
"You know he's right mom." Bill questioned everyone else nodded in agreement.
"I know."
