Can you believe I walked Wall Maria to Wall Rose? That was some long assed wall I have to walk....
I arrived there in a week, I kept walking day and night without stopping, No water, No food
I can't even believe I'm still alive, Saw some soldiers ahead of me before dropping to my feet, Finally feeling the exhaustion I'm suppose to feel in the past days
"WHOS THERE?"
No answer, I can't even open my mouth and make out a word due to my dry throat
Could they just come here already?!
I sighed and blacked out, When the Soldiers came their eyes widened with surprise
"It's Captain Kaisha! Go get the others she needs nutrition!"
After what felt like an Hour... Or more than an hour I have to admit I opened my eyes
The light from the sun blinded me a bit as I covered my eyes, sighing, Why does a rest feels more like a Brick being thrown at me?
I sat up and noticed a soldier was looking after me, I felt myself smile before frowning again going back to my stoic face
I stood up and walked forward and stumbled a bit, My head was throbbing for lack of nutrition but I shook it away and quietly opened the door so that the Soldier whose watching me won't wake up
I got our of the room and stretched a bit letting out a heavy sigh, After my stretching I started walking towards Erwin's office
As soon as I was in front of the door to his Office I heard someone call my name in the far right corner of the hallway
I turned around and saw Hange running towards me, She lunged at me and hugged me tight
"Your alive! Thats a relief" She said as she pulled back from the hug, I chuckled and noticed Connie was behind Hange
I raised my brow at Hange pointing at Connie, Hange caught up to what I was silently saying and she opened the door
"Let me explain inside" She said, I nodded and walked inside, Saluting to Erwin which Hange followed what I did
"Erwin.... It seems that I have a conclusion about the titan trapped in that house" Hange said
Erwin turned around to look at us along with Levi, The two men were surprised I was here
"Surprise~" I said lazily, I looked over to Levi to which he let out a sigh of relief knowing I'm still alive
"So what's in your mind?" Erwin asked Hange, to which I looked at her in curiosity
Hange made Connie step up to all of us making him speak, Connie looked over to us one by one feeling kind of nervous
"I think.... The titan on my house... Is a human... Well not a Shifted but... The titan is like... Formed from a human"
I looked at him, Sinking the information tying to process what he said and trying to understand it
So basically.... Titans were made of humans?
"So all of my year's I have been chasing and killing down Humans?" Levi said as he looked out the window
This got me to think, Were Titans really made from humans? I mean... There is a weird serum where you could easily turn people into a Titan
But I learned in the past that it was very rare and isn't kind of well known to other people
Once we discussed this a bit further we were all excused, I walked along side Levi which he seemed to be a bit quiet
"Levi.... What's wrong?" I asked him turning to him, He looked at me and looked away clicking his tongue
"You left because you helped the enemy's and then you came back without anyone" He said as he crossed his arms
"Ackerman, Could you be atleast grateful since I'm alive? You know I could be dead when I stayed" I replied to him
He shook his head, We were heading towards a house, Or barn I think.... It's where our new Squad members were since the old Levi Squad died in the expedition
As we were walking and talking we heard many arguing noises inside, I lifted my brow in curiosity as I opened the door heading inside
I walked over to them, Eren had a broom in his hands cleaning while the others were slacking off a bit
Levi checked under the table to which he looked at everyone except me, "I'm pretty sure I have you enough time" He said as everyone groaned
"By the way Eren, Hange is expecting you with the experiment" He said, Eren nodded and left as me and Levi followed
"Experiment?" I asked Levi to which he rolled his eyes and sighed, I crossed my arms in defense
"You guys never told me anything, Whats eren gotta do in this experiment?"
"Probably trying to train his titan self to Harden his skin so we can take back Wall Maria and look what's inside that damned basement"
My eyes widened at the sudden word of basement, It slipped of my mind that we have to look over to the basement
Although I think I already gone there... I don really know since I can't remember most of it so I doubt that I went down there
I sighed as we reached Hange, We continued with the experiment as it ended with Eren's Titan form Dropping to the ground
"Oi.... Erens ass is sticking out" I said as I watched nonchalantly, Hange looked at me and sighed frustrated
"Experiment over, roam around the area, make sure no one sees this!!" Hange ordered as she flew down to Eren
"Come on Eren, Humanity rests on your hands!" She said before she went down and get Eren
"You think he'll master the hardening skill?" I asked Levi, He clicked his tongue in annoyance of the question
"Hey hey! It wasn't even a rude compliment for you shorty" I said, He looked away annoyed
"If he doesn't do it then if be happy if I could replace him" I joked, He knew pretty damn well I hate shifting into a titan so I barely used it
So when I said that sentence he let our a low quiet chuckled which my ears didn't fail to hear
"Hm? Did I hear humanities strongest chuckle?"
"First time?"
I sighed Chuckling a bit and bent over quickly pecking him in the lips before jumping down helping Eren and the others
"Hoho!! Mobilt look at Eren's face! Come on and sketch it" Hange quickly said as she tried pulling Eren out of the Titan
Eren's flesh was ripped out a bit while the veins to the Titan still connects his face and it won't let go
"Section Commander are you lacking of human Compassion?!" Mobilt asked which made me laugh a bit since it was the best line I've ever heard someone say that to her
I looked at Eren's face and without hesitations I cut off the connections to Eren's damaged face to the Titan sending Hange to her ass with Eren being held by her
"Damn... Eren looks very damned Ugly" I said, Mikasa slightly glared at me before going to Eren to which I just chuckled
I looked back to Levi where Historia was there only noticing her now, I shot up to them
That girl can hide her presence... Didn't even know she was there
"Historia, You go ride with Eren~" I ordered, She nodded and is about to leave when Levi suddenly talked to me
"I'll go to Erwin with Hange's Squad" He told me, I nodded, I met with historia's eyes before walking towards her and putting an arm around her shoulder to which she was surprised
She didn't really expect to be treated like this by a captain, Honestly I didn't mind since they were the people I trained with since I came back to the Survey Corps again
We arrived back at the house, I walked around while I let the others slack off, I was with the Horses when a sudden call came
"Hange's squad arrived please gather in the main room!"
I sighed and patted my horse, I walked over inside and to the main room seeing everyone, and I positioned myself in the corner leaning on a wall
"Huh? What is it?" I asked as I saw Hange with a grim look in her face, "He's dead.... Pastor Nick" She replied looking over to me
"He was murdered.... This morning in the trost district barracks"
"I figured that the church would want to deal with Nick since he was cooperating with the scouts" Hange continued, "That's why I hid his identity and made him stay in the barracks but.... To think he'd use soldiers to kill him"
I slightly clenched my fists remembering the time when I first met Emma and Gabe, their mother was killed by soldiers.... Tch... Corrupt as always
"It's entirety my fault... I was too careless"
Everyone was silent, Levi took a sip from his cup, Then Armin broke the silence
"Pastor Nick... Did the soldiers tortured Nick so that he could spill what he told us?"
"Most likely" Levi replied as he set his Cup down, "But it was the interior Military force so there must be something more to it"
"How many nails did Nick's finger got ripped off?" I asked Hange, She looked at me, "You saw it right?"
"I only caught a glimpse of him, But all his nails I could see" Hange replied to me, I sighed
"People that talk, talk after one. If they don't, Peeling more won't make a difference" Levi said as he looked at me, By now all three of us captains are only conversing as the others listened
"Pastor Nick.... I thought he was an idiot, but he didn't turn away from what he believed... All the way until the end" I mumbled
"So they have no idea we've caught wind in the reiss family" Levi said as he looked over to Historia
"But someone in the government is up to no good and their eyes are fixed on us" Levi continued, I slightly nodded in agreement
Suddenly someone went inside the house making three of us captains looks at her
"Captains, A message from Commanded Erwin" she said as she gave the Letter to me
I opened it and read it, "I went to tell him about pastor Nick but he sent me off to send this instead" She said
After reading the letter I gave it to Levi, "Everyone. Out, we leave now" I ordered them which caused confusion but nonetheless they moved as they were ordered
"Leave no trace we were here"
Everyone moved and left the house, If was dawn when Military Force busted in the empty house finding no one there
"That was close" Connie said with a sigh as him and Armin watched what was happening below the mountain we were standing
"If we haven't left right then... What would happen to us?"
"But why? Why would commander Erwin command us to—" Armin was cut off by me looking at him
"New orders from the government, There's been a freeze of all scout regiment activities outside the wall" I said slightly clenching my fists, "Their telling us to hand over Historia, Me and Eren....."
"Also, Right after he gave me the message the military force came for him" The girl who delivered the message said
"Their treating him like some sort of criminal!" Hange said as she looked over to the girl
"Someone's not working on the shadows anymore... Their moving all eyes to see" levi said
"To go that far just to protect the walls secrets" I mumbled and scoffed, looks like we're going to be in a tight spot
"What's more... Why do they want to hand over Eren, Kaisha and Historia" Hange said thinking, "Not to kill but to obtain?"
"Who knows, But it's obvious the Enemy's eyes are fixated to the three of them" Levi answered Hange
There's no way In hell I'm going to surrender from those Military people
"We're moving the three of them to trost district" Levi said which made all eyes on him
"Why? Isn't that where pastor Nick died?" Mobilt asked Levi, "it's worst to head over to the interior, With trost in panic it would be easy to slip in" Levi replied to Mobilt
"And if somehow it comes down to it, we could use these in the city" Levi continued as he showed his hidden hear on his cloak
"True... Plus... Not knowing the enemy puts us in a tough spot" I stepped in the conversation, "We need to find out who is behind this"
"Hange... Lend me some of your Squad" Levi looked at Hange, "Of course" She said as she thought for a while
"Alright... I'm going after Erwin, Mobilt is with me.. the rest of you follow Levi" Hange said as she looked at me and Levi, I have her a slight nod before she left with Mobilt
"Hange-san, Here... I remember the conversation between Ymir and Bertholtd" Eren called out to her as he gave him a piece of paper
"Alright... I'll take a look at it later" She said as she saddled up her horse and galloped away from us
We spent the night going toward Trost and ended up there in the morning, Lots of people were minding their own business
"Try not to walk in an cluster. We'll stand out" I said to them as me and Levi was in front of the kids walking together
"Eren and Historia, Just walk normal" Levi added to which is quietly let out a giggle, but it was heard by Levi and he gave me a Slight glare
I mean how the hell are they gonna walk? In fours? Levi c'mon use your head sometimes
"We're handing out rations of food, there's enough for everyone so line up!"
"Geez the king sure is Generous" Sasha mumbled to us, I rolled my eyes looking at them handing over food
"There's more to it than just that, People are weak especially when their baited with food" I replied to Sasha as we kept waking
As we kept waking I suddenly stopped as I heard a feint carriage noise, Levi looked at me with a raised brow before he heard it too
"Everyone! Watch out from behind!" I shouted back at them as they made way for a carriage that was rampaging towards us
They got Eren and Historia, Luckily I dodged pretty quickly so that their hands wouldn't get to me
"Armi— I mean, Christa and Eren!! They got snatched away again!!" Sasha called out to them, Extending a hand out
Me and Mikasa looked at each other before leaving Levi with the others, I looked back at him in the corner of my eyes seeing him slightly nod a bit
Me and Mikasa looked over to the wearhouse they've been stored seeing Armin getting touched?
I almost lost my composure seeing Poor Armin getting touched slightly crying
Damn, why can't I take things serious?
I looked over to Mikasa as she looked over to me, And as if we came into a silent agreement she nodded and shot off into the air finding Levi reporting what's happening there
Mikasa came back and whispered what Levi said, I rolled my eyes and chuckled a bit before nodding at Mikasa
I went inside as she followed, 2 boys were walking up to Armin and Jean disguised as Christa and Eren
Gotta say they do be a good decoy for them— sshhh shut up Kaisha, Get serious!
"Eh? Where's the guard?"
I jumped up and kicked a man in the face knocking him out, Then Mikasa followed as me and Her knocked out a bunch of dudes saving Armin and Eren
"Come on now! Let's tie these bastards up and catch up with Acker— I meant Levi" I said, I got used to Calling Levi his last name sometimes which I try to get rid of in front of Others
"Captains orders... And he sends a message too" Mikasa said as Jean and Armin wondered what it was
