I took my phone and quickly called my family doctor Mike. I called and he picked up on the second ring
"Hello, Doctor Mike!" I said feeling restless
"Yes Mason how are you?" he said with a calm voice
"I'm fine but I'm here to ask for something, if someone gets hit by a ball really hard that causes them to faint. what am I supposed to do for that patient!?" I asked hoping for a quick reply
"Firstly, calm down. Secondly, the best thing you can do is to apply cold compress on that part that has been hit by the ball and let that person rest" he paused a little "nothing serious will happen, they'll be a little swelling on the part of the person that's been hit but it will get back to normal in a few hours" he gave me a swift reply
"okay! thank you so much doctor. I will do that, thank you I have to go bye!" I said and ended the call
I went downstairs and got an ice bag compress, quickly went back to the room and applied it on her forehead. I placed it there for some minutes and again I couldn't stop staring at her, she slept so peacefully and looked so pretty.
Her heart was so pure, maybe these were the things that made me attracted to her, I sat beside her and looked at her pretty face. I looked down at her chin and immediately I saw her pink smooth lips, I couldn't take my eyes off it. I felt like kissing her, it was almost like I was hypnotized by her smooth pink lips, I placed my right hand on her cheeks and used my thumb to brush over her lips.
They were just the way I imagined it would fell, so soft and smooth. I brought my face close to hers and felt the strong urge to kiss her but I knew it wouldn't be right so I repelled before I will do something that will hurt her.
After half an hour she finally regained consciousness.
Amelia's POV
I gently opened my eyes feeling so weak and felt a cold sensation on my forehead. I took the ice pack and kept it on the side table beside the bed. I looked beside me and realized I was in Mason's bedroom.
I saw Mason sitting on the floor while resting his head on the bed. I silently got off the bed and sat beside him on the floor, I also rested my head on the bed and stared at his handsome face. My feelings for him is no more a mare crush, I have fallen in love with him. I looked at his beautiful silky hair and felt the temptation to touch it. I slowly moved my hands towards his hair and moved my hand across his hair.
Oh it was just the way I thought it would feel, so silky, soft and curly. I continued moving my hands in his beautiful hair until he slowly opened his eyes and felt my fingers in his hair, as fast as I could I took my fingers out of his hair
"Th-there was...s-something in your hair" I lied stammering. He must think I'm very weird and the fact is that I don't know how to lie... Ugh!
"Really?" he said with a funny suspicious look
"Yes!.....yeah" I stammered
"Well what was it?" He asked
"I-it was, it was, it was a-a stick, yeah a stick!" I lied again
"Cool, where is it?" he said knowing that I was lying
"I don't know! Is this what you do to a person that just regained consciousness?" I said trying to avoid more questions
"Okay fine. I will take you home, you need to rest and you are right for hating football" he said helping me up to my feet "Now I hate it too'
"But how about the lesson? And your car is at the automobile repair shop, don't worry I'll walk" I said taking my opening a textbook
"No worries. We read tomorrow, you need to rest and I'll take the other car" he said taking the textbook and putting it back into my backpack
"B-but..." I stammered
"No buts! Let's go!" He said and pulled me out of the room "do you want something to drink on the way?" He asked taking a car key
"No I'm fine" I said but he gave me an 'are you sure' look "really! I have water with me plus I'm not thirsty or hungry"
We walked our way out of the house and towards the parked cars, he moved towards the white Bentley car and entered inside it with me.
He drove me home and when we arrived at my home, I saw my mom through the glass window looking at me with a relieved reaction.
I thanked him and waved him goodbye. I got into my home and saw my mom moving towards the doorway.
"Lia! You came too late today. What happened!?" My mom asked looking worried.
She calls me Lia for short
"I was knocked unconscious with some guys playing football" I said
"Oh my! Like your brothers did!" My mom remembered
"Yeah but my friend helped me out and the swelling has gone down... I'm tired I'll go rest" I said and walked up stairs
"Okay. There food in the pans if you want some" my mom said moving into the kitchen
I walked into my room and changed my clothes. I wore light blue jeans, a cream colored big shirt, wore my white ankle socks and straightened my hairstyle, letting my hair flow down below my shoulder. I sat on my bed which was ash in colour with white tiny stars on it. I took my mud brown covered novel and began to read it until I fell asleep with the open book resting on my palm.
When I woke up it was already evening so I sat on my reading table and began to do my assignment. After half an hour I was done with all my assignment and I was so relieved until I heard my phone ring. Mason was calling. Immediately I answered I heard his deep voice, it already made me cheerful.
