Life's Path
I am moving
Constantly moving
I go to where I have not been
Leave the the memories that I hold dear behind
My life has been a pathway of good and bad
The future flies toward me
Sometimes casually walking
Like I can wait for the next moment
Changes that are abrupt
Along with subtle changes
The ones you have to dig to find
My path here is definite, etched and engraved
My path ahead yet to be made
Clear of where I have been
Afraid I will get lost on my way to somewhere unknown
Living in the medium of the past and the future
Tryin to hold on, memorizing every bit
I don't know where I'm going
But I already like it there
