The Fear (Elegy) By OurWorkOfArt
I fear that when I die
No one will remember the sigh of breath I breathe
When I die no one will remember my name
All wisps of love dissolving into thin air
Any inside joke laughing on it's way out
The hugs turning into air that barely holds a presence
That I wasn't worth having friends
Maybe everyone won't remember my name
Even when they see pictures of fun times
Every tear and smile will be a distant memory
A fuzzy hazy memory where you can barely grasp the thought of it
No clear cut edges of faces but instead just a general idea lit by hope
Maybe when I die everyone will turn and walk away
As I float above crying invisible tears in the sky
Hopefully I'm wrong
Maybe when I die I will never truely die in your heart
Cus that's where I belong
