SETSUNA: "Well, that's everyone."
KARIN: "At least it went off without any issues, more or less."
KASUMI: "I don't know if we can say 'without any issues'..."
KARIN: "Aside from the numbers situation, Setsuna's explanation was easy to follow and it got everyone who came prettt hyped, right?"
SHIZUKU: "About the numbers... Did we make a mistake in how we recruited volunteers or something?"
AKI: "..."
AI: "We got 1000 so fast, so we thought that meant we'd done everything right and it worked."
KANATA: "But now we're right back to where we started."
RINA: "We still have time to recruit more. We can try again. Rina-chan Board says, 'Serious!'"
EMMA: "Yeah, we don't have time to be getting down on ourselves."
AYUMU: "That's right. We can overcome this together! Isn't that right, Aki?"
AKI: "...Huh? Oh, yeah... Yup, you're right. We need to try harder."
SETSUNA: "So, shall we put everything back in order? First, we need to collect all the packets that were left on chairs."
RINA: "Collect them... Rina-chan Board says, 'Sad-face'."
EMMA: "We only needed enough for the front of the auditorium..."
KANATA: "What should we do with the leftover ones?"
AKI: "Burn them."
KARIN: "Eh? But we can just hold onto them in the clubroom. I'm sure we'll need them again later."
SHIZUKU: "Yeah. I think we have some extra cardboard boxes, so we can put them in those."
AKI: "Fine, whatever. We'll find them homes with new volunteers. One's who aren't selfish and lazy..."
AI: "Oh, I need to return the projector."
AKI: "I'll take it. I know you're all tired, so let's call it a night here. Thank you and good night."
AYUMU: "Oh, let me help you!"
AKI: "No, it's better if I do it. After all, people always want others to take care of everything, right?
Good night."
AYUMU: "Oh, okay... Good night."
...
Shioriko said people want someone else to do it and they believe someone else definitely will.
I was foolish enough to believe that just because people signed up, they'd make good on it for sure.
I got so fixated in believing they'd pull through that I didn't consider their enthusiasm levels when signing up, or what kinds of people they were.
But I forgot all about human nature. People are naturally lazy, they wish for someone else to solve their problems for them while they lay back and do nothing.
I needed to really focus on making sure we were actually getting people who would commit, but I was wrong.
If I can't gather enough WORKING volunteers, then the School Idol Festival will die... Everyone's dreams will die.
HONOKA: "No, we're not quitting or scaling anything down! No matter how tough the preparations may be, we will get it done!"
AYUMU: "Well, my dream is to simply stand on the stage."
RIKO: "My dream is to give a performance that will support those who have lost hope or are worn out from the fight for their dreams. I want to help them find their passion again."
TSUBASA: "We look forward to seeing what you, μ's and Aqours create together."
SARAH: "And when you send out the call, we'll be ready!"
KANON: "Our dreams are in your hands, Señor Suzuki."
TOUOU & SHINONOME: "Thank you! We're counting on you to make our dreams come true!"
Everyone's dreams...
AKI: "That's why as the Chairman... I'm gonna make sure you all get to do what excites you most! I want to make all your dreams come true! That's why I'm here!"
Heh..heh... That's right. I forgot that I'm the one who can make this happen.
I can't let everyone's hard work and dreams up until this point go to waste. We have a little more time, so I've got to stick the landing this time for sure!
No matter what happens to me... I will stop at nothing until the School Idol Festival is REVIVED!
I will be the one to grant the wishes of every school idol and fan!
That is my OWN dream!
