I woke up and bathed .... I had my breakfast and went to the office ....i am looking at the bombblast files ... Someone knocked on my door ..... I looked up and it's Alex ....
Pete - come in .....
He came in smiling and stood in front of me....i just sighed and continued working on the files again ....
Alex - P Pete .....
Pete - yes....
I said while working ....
Alex - I want to give you something P ....
I looked at him ....He had a gift box in his hand... I shook my head and continued my work ...
Pete - what is it??....
Alex - just a surprise for you p Pete....i think you will like it ....
I chuckled and said ....
Pete - my life has already given me many surprises..... I don't want new.... I don't want your gift ... Just go and work ...
Alex - but P.... Please take it naa ..... Please ... You will like it P ...
I sighed and looked at him.... He gave me the box smiling ....i opened it ....It's my ae's headset.... I smiled happily and wore it ..... I started it and the sound went to my heart from headset .... I closed my eyes and tears escaped my eyes .... I stopped it and wiped my tears ....
Alex - do you like it P???...
He asked in excitement..... I nodded ...
Pete - But ...where did you get this??..... You got it repaired ??
He nodded and smiled widely ....
Alex - yesterday after you left, I picked it up P ..... I got it repaired ....you like it P ???....

Pete - thank you for this.....thank you so much nong ...Sorry for shouting at you that day....don't take it to heart ....

He smiled and went to his place ...i smiled at him and continued working .... There are these 10 unsolved bomb cases ... Who is all behind these blasts ??....i should collect more evidence to solve this case ....but there are no strong clues in any of this bomb blast !!!...
I am waiting for tin who is buying papers for the office .... I looked at my watch ... It's lunch time already ....i am waiting at the signal ...school students are crossing the road ....suddenly i saw a little girl with two ponytails looking at me .....she called me " mama .."
I smiled happily and about to hug her ... She ran away from me ....
Pete - apple !!.... Baby !!!...apple ...
Looks like something's wrong..... Why she ran away from me ??.... Is she angry .... She is 6 years old now ... She can't speak other than mama and papa.... Her parents died in an accident infront of her ....she got shocked and lost her voice ...doctors said she can speak again once she forgets the incident that stuck in her mind ....
I taught her how to talk with fingers ...i taught her to signal some alphabets with her fingers ... I can understand ... I didn't visit her from last month .... I forgot to visit her in the orphanage .... I went back to the office back and finished my work ..
Later i went to her school in the evening ....iam waiting for her outside the school ...all the kids are coming out running ... Where is my apple baby ??... I am looking for her .... She came out running and stood infront of me .... I knelt in front of her ...i tried to touch her face ... She pushed my hand and walked to park side.... I stood up and followed her ... She sat on the bench folding her hands ....
I went and sat beside her .... She isn't looking at me ....
Pete - baby ... Mama is sorry naa ...please talk to me naa ...iam sorry naa~~~
She turned her head ...
I took the chocolates i brought for her and placed beside her ....
Pete - aren't these your favourite chocolates baby ??.... Forgive mama and talk to mama naa ....you are my good girl right ??..
She looked at me in anger and explained some words with her fingers ...
Apple - mama is bad ...
Pete - mama is bad ??... Why na ??..... I was just busy in working naa baby ...
She explained again and showed ..

Pete - i hurt papa ??.... No baby .... How can I hurt him ??.... You know mama loves papa naa ...
Apple - i won't talk to you !!.... Papa was screaming in pain !!...( sob )... You are bad !!!.... You hurt papa !!..
She said and ran away .... I closed my eyes catching my head ...how can I hurt my ae??...( sob )....why everyone is leaving me ??....( sob ).... Don't i deserve anyone ??...( sob ).... Why is she saying i hurt ae ???...( sob )...i miss him so much already .... ( sob )... What have I done wrong ???...
I felt a smooth little hand on my face ..... I removed my hands and opened my eyes ..... Its apple ... She took out her kerchief and wiped my tears ....she explained...
Apple - don't cry mama ....
She climbed onto bench and hugged my neck ....i hugged her back crying hard ...
Pete - mama is sorry naa baby ....( sob ).... Please don't leave me naa...( sob )... You know mama is hurt naa....
She kissed my cheek and parted.... She took her bag and took out a candy .. she fed me and smiled cutely ...ae used to give me a candy whenever iam sad ....she explained ....
Apple - mama no crying .... Papa and apple don't like your tears .....we will be sad...
I smiled and kissed her all over the face ...
Pete - i love you naa baby ....and who taught you this ??...
She smiled and said ...
Apple - papa ...
I smiled and kissed her forehead ....
Pete - lets go to grandma ??...
She nodded and hugged me .... I smiled and carried her to my car ..we went to home..... Mom opened the door ...
Mom - woahh.... Look who is here .... Come here my princess ...
Apple smiled and went to mom .... I went and removed my shoes ...
Pete - iam going to bath ....apple don't tire grandma okay ??...
She nodded .... I went to my room and bathed .... I changed my clothes and went to hall ... She is playing with mom ... I went and sat beside her ..... Apple kissed my cheek and continued playing with mom ... I looked at them ... I smiled to myself looking mom smile again ....later it's dinner time already...
I am waiting for my shrimp soup...apple is eating her dinner ...... Aunt jiew served me soup and iam having it ...apple came and wiped my mouth....she giggled and went to her seat back ...mom is chuckling at me ....
Mom - see ...your daughter has to teach you manners dear ....
I sighed ...
Pete - stop acting like your papa apple !!!.....you both make me look bad always ...
She chuckled and gave a flying kiss to me ... I smiled and we ate our dinner .... I called the orphanage and said i will take care of apple ... They said it's okay....
Apple is in my arms looking at the story book .... I read a story and closed it ...she signalled me for one more ....
Pete - no .... That's it for today baby .... You should sleep now ..
She pouted but nodded ....
Pete - baby ....can i ask you something?....
She nodded ...

She nodded and made a sad face...she explained ...
Apple - you beat papa ....( sob ).. papa has blood on his face too ....i saw it mama.... Why you hurt papa ??....( sob )... You know iam angry !!...

Apple - when i went to tour with school ...
Pete - how many days back ??...

I looked at her ...she slept already ...i turned off the lights and covered her in the quilt .... I kissed her forehead and thought about what she said !... I should talk to her faculty ..
