6 am--- Senior year
Alarms, the sound I never miss. I set three alarms last night to make sure that I wouldn't be late for the first day of school. Yes, it has happened before.
My room is pitch black and through my window I can see the street lights are still lit up. Fun, back to the routine. I get up and quickly make my bed so that I can't get back in it. Then I'm off to the shower. Luckily I have my own bathroom. Once I'm out of the shower I walk back into my room, turn the lights on and light a candle. I make sure to close my blinds since it's still dark and my lights are all on. I take a minute to go over my schedule a bit. Honestly I'm kind of nervous since it's a new school.
SCHEDULE: 1st and 2nd hour I have a class that's all about making surfboards, skateboards, and snowboards.
3rd hour: finance
4th: free hour
5th: English
6th: TV Broadcasting (School tv show)
I honestly have a good, balanced schedule so that's good. I pack up my schedule and brush my hair. Once that's done I go to figure out an outfit in my closet. I put on a black t-shirt with some white shorts and begin my makeup. Once I'm done I make my way downstairs. I start making coffee and pop a bagel into the toaster. When the bagel's done I spread some cream cheese on it. I sit down and start eating and Trevor walks into the kitchen.
"Where's E?" He asks me
"I'm assuming she's still getting ready in her room." I tell him
He sits down at the island beside me and starts eating his bowl of cereal.
"What time do we have to leave?" I ask
"Jack's picking us up in 10." He says back
"When were these plans made?" I ask jokingly
"20 minutes ago" He answers
"sounds about right." I say.
I look to see that it's 7:10 am when I start to hear the whole house wake up. It's still super dark outside because it's raining. Ella walks into the kitchen fully dressed and ready to go, grabs a banana, and sits on the living room couch. Reeve walks in looking like he just woke up and says good morning.
"Where's dad?" Reeve asks
"work" Trevor responds
Owen walks in grabbing some breakfast and sits at the table. I finish my bagel and put the plate in the dishwasher. I walk back upstairs to brush my teeth. Once that's done I grab my bag and put on some white birks. By now it's 7:20 and as I head back down the stairs the only person around is Ella. I sit at the bottom of the stairs and scroll through my phone until the front door swings open. I look up to see my mom walk in carrying her huge purse and a travel mug. Feet go by me on the stairs and I look ahead seeing Trevor ready to go.
"Jack's coming to get us soon Ella, be ready." Trevor calls out on his way into the kitchen
"Hey hey you three," Mom starts saying as she points towards us, "outside now, I need at least one photo of the first day."
Ella, Trevor, and I head outside as Mom yells for the boys to come too. We first do one of Me, Ella, and Trevor. Then it's all kids, followed by me and Ella, and me and Trevor. As mom is taking pictures of me and Trevor, Jack pulls up and gets out of his car.
"Happy first day Zegras!" He announces to us all
"Jack! Perfect timing. Go get in between those two for a picture." Mom says referring to me and Trev
Jack joins and we let Mom get a few pictures. The twins say bye to us and go back inside. Ella gets into Jacks car as we start to grab our stuff. Mom comes up to us to say goodbye.
"My babies are all grown up!" she says to me and my twin brother
"We just turned 18 mom, this is only the beginning." Trevor says to her.
"Very intelligent sounding statement coming from you Trev." I say to him and he gives me the finger in response.
"Twinnies I need hugs." Mom states
"Twinny time!" Jack yells as we go to hug our mom
"Jacky, get in here!" mom says with a big smile on her face
"Mom we've gotta go." I say after what felt like the longest, tightest possible hug.
"I hate to end this but your daughters right Ashlee." Jack says
"Fine," she starts saying as she lets go of us three, "have a great first day!"
"Thanks mom" Trevor says, walking to the car
"see ya later" I call out following after him
"BYE ELLA" mom yells out to Ella in the car who just waves back
Trevor and Jack hop into the front seat. I open the back door to find Luke and Ella.
"Move over please? I really don't feel like sitting in the middle." I say to Ella.
Luckily for me she scoots over into the middle seat. Jack pulls out of the driveway and Trev starts up on aux playing random songs. I look up once we get on the road and see that it's 7:40.
"Senior year! Let's go baby!" Jack yells throughout the car. I just light up into a smile and Trevor cheers along with him.
"yeah yeah go seniors!" Ella yells enthusiastically and we all laugh a bit.
"Wait you're a senior?" Luke asks Ella with a shocked look on his face
"Wow you're dumb." Jack says laughing from the front seat
"In no single way would I have been able to make it this far if I were a triplet with those two shitheads." Ella says referring to me and Trevor
"What you can't handle the heat?" I ask her
"Yeah dude heat radiates off of us." Trevor adds with a smile while Ella just laughs at us
"We set ourselves up for failure bud." I tell Trevor
"I'll drink to that." he says and he reaches his hand back for a fist bump
I go on my phone after that and post my senior photos to my instagram.

I finished my instagram and put down my phone. We still had a few more minutes left to go.
"Hann what's your schedule?" Trevor turned around to ask me
I showed him my schedule as we were approaching the school. Huge, this school was massive. The one thing I can ensure on succeeding today is getting lost in the school.
"We've got English together during 5th hour." Trevor told me, making me focus back in on the conversation in the car.
"Alright that's good enough." I respond
"let me see this." Jack says as he takes my schedule from Trevor as soon as the car was parked
"Turcs has boards 1st and I have it at some point of the day too. I've got 4th hour free too." Jack lets me know.
"that's a lot more comforting, thanks guys." I say
"okay wait yeah, yeah my boards class is 1st hour!" Jack says happily and reaches to me for a high five
There were kids walking all over the parking lot and through the school.
"we've got ten minutes left, choose your next move wisely." Trevor lets us all know
"I can introduce you to some of the guys if you want." Luke offers to Ella
"that seems like my best move so sure." Ella answers
"Good luck with these two Hannah!" Luke says as he gets out of the car pointing to Trev and jack
"later losers" Ella says as she leaves with Luke.
"young love in the making" Trevor says about Ella and Luke once they're gone and jack and I laugh.
"should we go soon?" I ask getting a little anxious.
"genius twin vibes." Jack says to me while flashing a smile
We hop out of jacks car and start walking towards the entrance to school. Jack and I go the opposite direction from Trevor as we head to our class. We're walking through the halls when the 5 minute warning bell goes off.
"Wow I'm already off to a great first impression." I sarcastically say with a smile
"Seriously Hann don't worry, this teacher will love you." jack says to me with a reassuring smile
We get to the huge Workshop/classroom and Jack enters first.
"Mr. Hughes! I was waiting for you to show!" I hear the teacher say
"It's not 8:05 yet Mr. Brown." Jack says and I can literally hear the smile in his voice
Jack steps off to the side as we walk in a bit further. I quickly catch Alex with a smile slightly shaking his head towards jack.
"Woah woah woah," the teacher starts saying as he notices me with jack, "you're really gonna try to skip the introductions with me bud? I thought I taught you better." He says to Jack
"I was literally just gonna do that." Jack said
"huh yeah sure Jack," the teacher looks at jack then to me, "Miss Zegras I assume?"
"Yup Hannah Zegras." I tell him
"Welcome to boards class Hannah, I'm Mr. Brown and I'm sorry that you have to be with Mr. Hughes." He says to me
"Thank you" I say with a big smile.
"Jack go sit up there with Maddie and Hannah can sit with Mr. Turcotte." Mr Brown says.
