{Third POV}
Schlatt was in his office while Eurus was in the room beside it. Eurus had been writing letters for the festival in honor of their fiance's new title. In all honesty, Schlatt wasn't a bad husband. He always comforted Eurus when they needed it and never left them alone for too long even if his job kept him very busy. Eurus had never thought of Schlatt as a romantic partner and still didn't but it was nice feeling cared for again. After Technoblade joined Eurus always felt a tinge of guilt while doing things for Schlatt, they didn't know what Techno would do if he found out but it wouldn't be good. Techno never intimidated Eurus because they knew he would never hurt them, but he would most definitely hurt others. Whether it be Schlatt, or Wilbur Techno would hurt someone and Eurus didn't want that on their conscious so they didn't go out too much in case someone spotted them.
"Eurus dear?" Schlatt called out from his office
"Yes Schlatt?" Eurus stood up from their desk and made their way to the room beside them.
"So I was thinking, what if I married you during the festival?" Schlatt asked
"That would be a good time, but may I ask who you're inviting?"
"Oh everyone on the island not including Wilbur and Tommy!" Schlatt smiled, taking Eurus' hand and holding it tightly
"What about the other member of the rebellion..?" As much as Eurus missed Techno they knew him coming would put the people they loved at risk.
"What other member?" Schlatt smiled warmly at Eurus
"Cr- Technoblade" Eurus corrected themselves
"Oh him? I'll invite him if you want!"
"Well-"
"No need to thank me" Schlatt pulled Eurus into a tight hug, letting go as soon as he saw Fundy nearby.
"Goodbye Schlatt" Eurus smiled at him before leaving
Little did they know there was someone watching them...
{Third POV}
{Pogtopia}
Tubbo rushed past the trees, he would have never suspected Eurus was a traitor! Sure, Tommy always said that they weren't with Pogtopia but Tubbo trusted them! Eurus always declined Schlatt's offers what's different now? Were they just using everyone for power? Is that the kind of person Tubbo befriended? He couldn't believe it! Tubbo rushed down the winding staircase leading to Pogtopia.
"Guys! Guys!" Tubbo shouted frantially, waving the three other men to join him.
"Hey Big T!" Tommy said
"Yes Tubbo?" Wilbur walked up to the two boys
"Hello" Techno shrugged
"I just saw Schlatt, and Eurus together! Talking about getting married!" Tubbo shouted
"What? Eurus is doing what?" Techno stood there, shocked. How could Eurus do that to him? "Feath- Eurus wouldn't I know they wouldn't"
"And how would you know? You've only met each other once" Tommy said
"Eurus wouldn't really betray us! They must have been forced to!" Wilbur shouted
"They hugged each other! It didn't seem like Eurus was against it until Technoblade was brought up!"
"Technoblade.. What did you do to Eurus?" Wilbur asked
"Nothing, as Tommy said I've only met them once" Technoblade stood tall
"Techno don't lie to us. What did you do to them? Did you hurt them?" It was weird seeing Tubbo angry but Techno could understand why, he thinks that someone he trusted hurt someone "Are you the reason they aren't joining us?"
"No! I didn't do anything to them!" Techno held back tears. He couldn't believe Eurus would want to marry Schlatt, a president! Were they just using everyone to get into power? It would make sense, Technoblade would keep them safe and he was powerful, Wilbur and Tommy were president and vice president, and Schlatt was now president. "I'm leaving." Techno snarled
{Manberg}
Tubbo ran back to Manberg after sharing the news to his friends in the rebellion. As soon as he got back to the white house he heard Schlatt calling his name.
"Tubbo!" Schlatt called
"Y-yes Mr.President?" Tubbo stutters
"I want you to send out the invites Eurus made for the festival. They go to everyone except for Tommy and Wilbur, got it?" Schlatt asks sternly
"Yes sir" Tubbo nods
"And write a speech, you are my right hand man. I want you to talk about how great our country is"
Tubbo responds with a nod before running out. As he was running out he bumps into Eurus making their way to Schlatt's office.
"Oh, sorry Tubbo" Eurus smiles softly
Tubbo didn't understand why someone as sweet as Eurus would marry someone like Schlatt.
"It's okay Eurus!" Tubbo held a fake smiled as he left
Schlatt called Eurus to his office. "Eurus my darling?" Schlatt said as Eurus closed the door behind them
"Hello Schlatt" Eurus smiled, pulling up a chair across from Schlatt
"So, I was thinking, what would show you that I trust you more than leaving you alone for the rest of the day?"
"Why would you need me to trust you?" Eurus tilted their head
"Because every perfect relationship is built on trust of course! I'll let you do whatever you want!" Schlatt explained
"Are you sure? Will you come and get me once it turns night?" Eurus asked
"Well of course! Wouldn't want my first lady alone when zombies are out! Just send me your cords once your done!" Schlatt smiled warmly, Eurus knew it was fake but they couldn't help but feel comfortable when Schlatt smiled like that
"Thank you Schlatt" Eurus smiled and left
Eurus thought about what their fiance said for a moment. A whole day to themself? That would be paradise! They could finally talk to Techno! What if Techno hated Eurus now? What if Tubbo told Techno who Eurus was marrying without knowing the reason!? Techno must have hated them now!
"Eurus?" Eurus was interrupted by a familiar voice
"Oh hey Quackity" Eurus smiled at him as they waved
"How are you and Schlatt doing?" Quackity winked
"Ugh, don't wink at me you druggie" Eurus rolled their eyes "and it's fine, apparently he wants to get married during the festival"
"Oh c'mon I'm not a druggie!" Quackity insisted
"You offered me heroine like two days ago man" Eurus playfully pushed him "Well anyways I'm going to go out, probably meet up with some old friends- not Tommy and Wilbur though! That would be treason!"
"Oh okay, you can talk to anyone that's invited to the festival!"
"Okay good to know!" Eurus waved Quackity goodbye as they left
I decided to go out and pick flowers for my room since I didn't know where to go. I assumed Schlatt would use his horse to find me so I wasn't to worried about getting lost. It was getting dark so I decided to sit by a log and watch the sun set. I had just gotten comfortable when I heard footsteps in the distance and a rustle in a bush. I swung out my sword.
"Show yourself! I'm a pvp expert and am protected by Manberg! I won't hesitate to kill you!" That last part was a lie, Eurus had always felt guilty when killing people, even if they did it quite often in their old home.
"Wow Feather, I'm getting Deja Vu" Eurus heard a familiar voice say
"Feather- Crown, is that you?" Eurus asked, shaking
"Don't 'Crown' me." Technoblade snarled "I know what you did."
"Techno please you don't know the full story" Eurus saw a figure emerge from the shadows
"Eurus, why?" Techno approached Eurus carefully as Eurus dropped their sword "Why him?"
"I didn't want to! Really I didn't" Eurus looked up to face the taller man
"Then why? Did he force you to?" Techno look almost sad as he asked them
"You could say that" Eurus looked away "Techno if I said no he would've locked me up!"
"Eurus.. I'm not mad at you, you know that right?" Techno hugged Eurus as tears pricked the twos eyes "I could never be mad at you"
"Good to know" Eurus smiled, sitting back down on the log, Techno following "I've missed you, dumbass"
"According to Tommy you couldn't possibly miss me because the only time we've seen each other is when I first got here" Techno let out a snicker
"He seriously doesn't know?" Eurus asked
"Nope" Techno pulled Eurus close to him, wrapping his red cape around them
"I knew he was stupid but.. wow" Eurus sighed "God Crown why are you always so warm?" Eurus snuggled in next to their old friend
"I'm not warm you just don't have any body heat whatsoever" Techno booped Eurus' tiny nose
"You're such a bully" Eurus said
"I'm offended" Techno let out fake sobs as Eurus laughed
"Who knew a stone cold killer would get sad so easily?" Eurus teased
"You did"
In the distance Eurus heard footsteps. Schlatt was back.
"Hide, now." Eurus insisted
"H-huh?" Techno asked
"Just do it" Eurus pointed to the bush next to the log
"Eurus, darling?" Schlatt shouted
"I'm right here Schlatt" Eurus waved to the goat man
"Ah there you are, come on we must head back" Schlatt took Eurus' hand and led them to his horse "I don't want you talking to him" Schlatt said once they got on the horse
"W-Who..?" Eurus asked 'innocently'
"Technoblade! He could kill you!" Schlatt said "The only reason I'm inviting him to the festival is because there will be guards to protect you."
"Y-yes sir.." Eurus mumbled, holding on to Schlatt's waist as they rode
{Pogtopia}
"I met with Eurus" Techno say bluntly "They aren't with Schlatt"
"How do you know that?" Wilbur asked
"They told me, and they didn't turn me in to Schlatt when he came looking for them"
"Eurus could be lying" Tommy said
"I know when they are, any they weren't" Techno states
"How do you know that?" Tubbo asks
"B-because we knew each other before we came here.." Techno says, quietly
"Why didn't you tell us!?" Tommy asked
"Because I thought you guys would think I was the traitor! I'm on thin ice as it is!"
"You're our brother we trust you Techno" Wilbur assured
"Yeah!" Tubbo says
"Eh he's a simp I don't really trust him" Tommy shrugs
"Oh you get back here you asshole!" Techno shouts, chasing the shouting boy down the cave.
"Please! Please! I give up!" Tommy begs
"Fine." Techno grumbles
"Hello Techno, ca I talk to you for a second?" Tubbo asks
"Oh, sure" Techno follows Tubbo
"Schlatt wants to invite you to the festival, are you going to come?"
"Why wouldn't I? I'll get to spy for Pogtopia" Techno shrugs
"Okay, but make sure not to draw attention to yourself, okay?" Tubbo says
"Sure" Techno walks off.
