I crave to be your secret
special and arcane;
hidden from prying eyes
in the depths of your existence,
coated with crimson arteries
and beating curtains,
that harmoniously open and close
every fraction of a second,
creating a tune
unlike any other...
I want to dwell here;
place my waterbed
at the end of this chamber
hang photographs
on the inked walls,
Where only a few deserve
to see a glimpse
of what treasures you hide
in this vastness,
or what creatures lurk
in the mists and shadows,
of the unsettling night...
I do not mind,
for there is no place
where I can flutter my sooted wings,

on the rails
