It's been bout a week since we've broken up. Yea I'm sad, but life goes on, and I don't have time for a disrespectful ass nigga. My feelings haven't changed, I'm still in love with him. Nothing or no one will ever change that. He has given me a baby girl, of course I still love him.
I've been taking some time for myself. I requested 3weeks off from work. Today I decided to spend a few days at the beach. I was cleaning my house and packing. 1 hour later I was loading my stuff in my car and heading out. I needed to go to the bank and get cash just in case I didn't want to use my card.
Halfway there I got hungry so I decided to stop at chipotle. I couldn't decide on what I wanted so I just ordered random things. Once I reached the hotel I went to check in. "Hey, do you need help with your things" I turned around and saw the most handsome guy ever. He was light skin, tall, green eyes, dreads. I'm usually into the dark skins, but he was beautiful. "Yea, thanks" I say. Only reason why I said yes was because he worked here, and I pregnant, and didn't want to carry my stuff. Once all my stuff was brought to my room, I sat down exhausted from my drive. I started thinking about K.j "anything else" I had forgot the guy was still standing there. "Oh, no thank you" I say. "Can I ask you something ma'am" he says, "sure" I say. "Why is a beautiful woman here alone". I started laughing. "Just needed a break from everything" I say. "So you're single? He ask. My kind goes to K.j. "I guess so" I say. "What do you mean by guess" he says laughing. " my boyfr, I mean baby's father broke up a little over a week ago, the whole situation was stupid" I say. I don't now why I was discussing this with a complete stranger, but somehow I felt like I needed to vent. I haven't talked about it at all, I haven't even told anybody. "Do you love him" he asks "yes" I say. "So do you mind meeting me for dinner, not on a date, but you're beautiful, and I would love to take you out" I almost said no, but oh well single people do single shit right? "Yea, sure what time"? I ask "8"? "Yea that's good he says. "I'm Elijah by the way" he says. "Noelle" I say.
2 hours later I was unpacking and finding something to wear for later. Idk why I felt bad about tonight, but it's not a date so why am I? I decided on a grey t shirt dress and some tims. It was 6:00. So I jumped in the shower, and decided to wash my hair so it can be curly, plus I've had it straightened a week and it needed washing. After about 30 minutes I got out and got dressed. Did my eyeliner & red lipstick, put on some perfume, I was ready by 7:30. We were meeting at a restaurant at the hotel.
I got there at 8 and he was already there. "You look nice" he says. "Thank you, so do you" I say. "So how long you and your boyfriend been together, and what happened?" He ask. "We were together for 2 1/2 years, we got into it because his ex came to me with some bullshit and I asked him about it" I say. "So why y'all just ended it like that, if it were me, I would've worked shit out with you" he said. I was done talking about it. The waiter came to take our Order, I ordered a steak with Parmesan shrimp, hot wings and a small salad. After we ate, we decided to go to the mall. While we were walking around I saw some on kj's friends watching us. I already knew they was gonna tell him.
I got back to my hotel about 12. I really did have a good time. I was really missing k.j. I took my clothes off and got into bed, found a movie and got comfortable. I decided to get on twitter.
I must've fallen asleep because when I woke up it was one the next day. I decided to walk the beach. I took a shower, threw my hair in a bun, put on my swimsuit and headed to the beach. I was beginning to think coming here was a mistake. I was seeing all the couples and I was missing K.j. "You ok"? I hear Elijah say. We started walking and talking. After about a few hours we decided to get food at the restaurant on the beach. "I know that you still love him, and I know you always will, and I know you're pregnant, but I've enjoyed spending time with you. I would love to get your number, and we can friends" he says. " sure I say, I'm leaving tomorrow" so I give him my number.
It was good to be home, I enjoyed the beach, but being pregnant and recently single is tiring. Elijah and I have been texting and face timing since I left. It's been about 3 weeks, I liked him, he was sweet but I didn't have feelings for him the way that I did for k.j. No one will ever be K.j. I told Elijah that and he said he understood. He came to visit me a few times, just to hang out.
A few days later I was grocery shopping when I received a text from K.j
K.j: so I hear that you've moved on this fast. Why tf you going to the beach to meet some nigga? & why he been coming to see you. You having my baby, tf you doing with somebody else.?
I waited till I was home to respond
Me: first off I'm not with anybody. I went to the beach by my damn self and he was nice enough to help me, he has been here for me since you haven't. Next time come correct, don't assume shit about me. I'm single so why tf I'm explaining shit to you
K.j: you fuckin him?
Me: I'm pregnant with your child, tf I look like having sex with somebody else. It's you that I love, it's always been you, but you to fucking dumb to realize that.
After that I turned my phone off, I'm so tired of bullshit man.
