P.O.V: Ruby Rose
W e made it to the evacuation center, the guards and soldiers that got us there had to leave to recontain the anomalies. I decided to sleep while I was at least somewhat safe.
"You look afraid."
A voice said somewhere in my Dreamscape.
"Don't be afraid, this is a dream! The last dream you may ever have, for nightmares are coming. I wouldn't want to wake up. . . but unfortunately. . . you must. SCP-7092, oh my apologies! I meant to say, Professor Ozpin. He won't come to save you. . . you were betrayed by him, but don't be afraid, the Foundation will protect you! Your life is extremely valuable because of your eyes! I must go now, and you. . . must wake up!"
I woke up to alarms blaring, I then noticed, that I was wearing a gas mask.
Yang started screaming at me.
"Ruby. . . Ruby. . . RUBY! The evacuation shelters, outer defense systems have been compromised according to Weiss, and SCP-035 has confirmed that his "friends are coming to help him escape""
Wait a second. . . YANG HAS AN SCP WITH HER?
"Yang! Who the heck is SCP-035? Why did you take him TO THE EVACUATION SHELTER? WHAT IF HE IS THE REASON THAT THE EVACUATION SHELTER DEFENSES ARE FAILING?"
I shouted at Yang, how could she bring in an SCP to the place where humans are? The foundation doesn't just contain something because it has nothing else to do.
"uhhhh, well I mean, he promised us a safe way out, then we can head back to Beacon and report to Ozpin, then we can get back to our studies to become Huntsmen."
Yang smiled a little. I sighed, I adored my sister optimism right now, but it was something I found lacking even though I was usually the cheerful one out of us two.
"Yang, do you seriously believe that these guys will let us walk away after everything we have seen? This foundation, seems to be a massive organization, but why have we never heard about it before now?"
"uhh, dunno don't care."
Yang replied harshly, it was then that I noticed that Yang's eyes were. . . blank, almost as if someone was controlling her, I then noticed the lack of people that were here when we arrived.
"Yang, where is everyone? I remember that there were way more people here and now its just us 4.
"RUBY RUN THAT ISN'T MMMPH"
I heard Blake shout, I then decide, to run.
And I did.
I ran and ran and ran.
Until I bumped into somebody, I heard a pistol click and when I raised my head I saw it was Commander O'Brian.
He sighed,
"Oh thank god it's just you Ruby. Wait a sec, Where is your crew?"
"Let me ask something first commander, what is SCP-035?"
Commander O'Brian's eyes widened, he grabbed me by my shoulders and said shakily.
"How do you know that classification?"
"Yang woke me up and mentioned him, I then noticed her eyes were blank, I then heard Blake shout for me to run, I did that and quite literally, bumped into you."
He immediately grabbed the radio on his chest and said the following,
"Command, all remaining D-class have been compromised, I have the only survivor that isn't under SCP-035's control. Requesting immediate backup, my team is busy with SCP-096, Commander's code? 3d5g7j01a. Confirmed? good, how long till they arrive? Roger. . .WHAT?! *sigh* understood, I'll relay the number and appearance in a sec. . . silver eyes, black hair with red tips, light skin, the D number is 9345."
He looked at me, and said
"Command said that we'll get back up in a couple of minutes, the facility has been lost past the point of containment, the 05 council has authorized any available MTF soldier to activate the Omega warhead to terminate everything and anything in the facility, I will do that, you must get out of here, your silver eyes make you of great value to the Foundation, go through that door then turn right, you should find a room labeled as "electrical control" stay there until MTF arrives and comes for you, if someone comes in hide, the MTF will knock on the door before entering, now go. . . GO"
O'Brian than ran of in the other direction. My breathing hitched, and I used my semblance to get into the electrical control room. . . I waited. . . and waited, suddenly a knock came on the door, and 5 people came in looking like this:
"Ruby Rose? The MTF have arrived, we are to get you out of this facility within 3 minutes."
However, as he was saying that, a mechanical voice shouted through the facility.
"OMEGA WARHEAD EMERGENCY DENTONATION SEQUENCE ENGAGED THE ENTIRE FACILITY WILL BE DENTONATED IN T-MINUS NINETY SECONDS!"
"Shit, we're not gonna make it in time!"
Shouted the soldier.
I thought about something, it was risky, but it was the only chance we had.
"Where do we need to go?"
I screamed over the sirens.
"Left, right, right, forward and then we are at the gate."
I scream.
"Grab my hands! My semblance is super speed!"
"Roger"
I start. . . left. . . right. . . right. . . and then straight forward, we tear through some big doors and straight through the elevator shaft.
"OMEGA WARHEAD DENTONATION IN T-MINUS 30 SECONDS"
I hear a loud boom and we're suddenly going even faster.
Suddenly I hear a large explosion behind us, and I go even faster. I then see we are flying and I lower us to the ground. I then immediately collapse and black out.
When I wake up the 3 soldiers are standing over me in the plain we landed.
"Wow, that was fast, the warhead went of about 3 hours ago, we have called for backup, they are on their way. . . say. . . what do you say about working with the foundation?"
I smile, and accept.
