The sweet intriguing scent of blood lingered in Klaus's mouth as he drank from his unfortunate victim's neck, Mary, or something close to it. She was truly beautiful and sweet, and he loved it. His eyes glowed yellow, and his fangs did not retract. He kept drinking, every last drop. He hugged her, caressed her gently as one did to a lover. However, she died a moment ago, and it was all his doing. He did not feel an inch of remorse.
She fell down, cold and lifeless on the floor. Klaus smiled and wiped the blood from his mouth onto his leather jacket. He'd have to replace that one, again. He looked up at the starry night sky in the quiet city of Mystic Falls. Man, did he love this place, the view, the fresh air...the food, and everything was falling quite nicely into place. His family had all been reunited, along with his mother, who claimed to forgive him. Although he was not sure of it, he would still enjoy this very moment. Elena was still his successful blood bag, and he could create his hybrid army within ease.
He glanced ahead, to see his next unfortunate, but beautiful victim. A girl, walking alone on the pavement across the street at night, with shoulder-length dark brown hair. She looked eighteen, such a shame, he imagined a few people missing her, then forgetting about her. He could smell her blood from here and he was still hungry. He watched her, as she kept on walking down the street, closer to them, looking down at her phone. He was about to surprise her when she looked up, straight at him then the corpse at his feet. He'd have to move fast. His vision blurred as he ran straight for her in his tremendous speed, ready to grab her, but he froze. He was standing right where she stood, moments ago.
She had just vanished. Klaus frowned and turned in circles. She was human; he could smell that. A witch? Possibly, but even witches had their limits, and speed was certainly one thing they just couldn't do.
He turned then to see her, the very girl, standing at the corpse. She bent down, watching him as she closed the unfortunate victim's eyes. She grimaced and shook her head, right before she vanished again. Leaving Klaus, the immortal hybrid, perplexed.

POV: Finley
It's been two months, two stinking months of simply scouting and watching. From all I've learned, Klaus was not to be trifled with. And now I understand why.
I got a job at the Mystic Grill, staying quietly in the shadows, working and watching. People spoke a lot, and I learned that Klaus was quite successful during his venture here in Mystic Falls. He had successfully become a hybrid, by slaughtering three people. One was lucky enough to have a spell and survive. Her name was Elena, and she was a doppelgänger. Klaus then discovered she was the key to creating a hybrid army, but Damon and Stefan, the two vampire Salvatore brothers did everything they could to get rid of him, even getting his own father into the equation. However, Klaus managed to kill him too, and I was left in a hard spot. Then, all of a sudden, his mother was resurrected and reunited the Michaelson family. That was when I realized it was my time to strike. I needed Klaus's blood to save Quinton, who was currently stuck in a cryo chamber, otherwise, he would have long gone died. He's been stuck there for two years, while I was looking for the cure.
But something else happened from my venture in Neverland that I did not expect. Ever since I came from there, I did not age. The doctors in the World-Warpers were puzzled that every time my blood-sample was taken, it revealed the age 18. It's been two years, and nothing has changed for me. Making Peter Pan's threat and promise all the more real. It haunted me at night, and that was when I decided to go for a walk. The last thing I expected was to look up from my phone to see Klaus and a victim of his blood craving. When I met his eyes, I knew I was next.
I had no choice, I had to use magic.
I teleported to his next victim and closed her eyes. I stared at Klaus and shook my head, then I disappeared again, teleporting into my basement/room Axel and I hired. Then it came to another vision...of Peter Pan. His dark greens eyes opening. He did not look directly at me, but I could see he was searching. There was still a layer of fog that protected me, however, each and every time the layer got thinner, more see-through. Then the vision vanished. I sighed and shook my head. Every single time I used magic, he was getting closer to finding me. That scared me, because he did not care about Quinton, and I had no idea what his intentions are for me after I went back on my deal. I needed to save Quinton before it got to that. However, I knew that my thoughts and accusations of him wanting to kill me were probably false. The real truth scared me even more
