--Well, I do fuckin' know, you already know the story.—

--Yes, I know it and I cannot understand how you went back on your feet and put your shit straight. Jeez! Yashiro, does that is a natural perk of being a rad- I mean you?

--You wanted to call me by another name in the end, didn't you?—

--Well, guess I cannot lie~.—

The Yugi twins have it hard, but everyone does. Yashiro was not an exception. She wasn't struggling with any vices but the world made it so she had to put up with the demise of both her parents. She practically had no one to call a family. Amane could have as well made his midnight detours telling himself he didn't have it all that bad, he at least had Tsukasa alive as soon as he finds him before he would overdose.

--Everything is such a mess... seriously; I don't think what to do anymore...--

--Yugi-Kun, if you want...you can come over. That maybe will help you to cool down. ---

---Huh?—

--I-I mean. You must be tired and it is cold outside. --

The unexpected words got Amane off guard and luckily he was on the other side of the phone or else the girl he liked could have watched him as he widely blushes from head to toe. Was she really inviting him to her place? He knew Nene meant nothing naughty but the sole thought damaged his already worn-out senses.

-- Oh~, Yashiro I never could have thought you will be this assertive~. What are you planning to do me at the middle of the night in such privacy, you naughty R-a-di-sh?~ --

--I didn't mean it like that! Gush! That's what I get by worrying about a smutty scrawny and stinky bratty smoker! –

--Hey, I think most of that description was uncalled-for. I may look flimsy but I'm pretty strong and...Do really my clothes stink that much? –

--They do.—Nene spit deadpanned piercing the heart of our poor stinky Amane. He double-checked himself before wearing certain clothes that were almost brand new while going to campus where most likely he will be running into Nene. He made sure not to smoke before meeting her and he only smoked a fag or two on his balcony wearing old perpetually smelly clothes that he changed right after airing out the room. He had convinced himself that the majority of his wardrobe was smoke-smelly free and Nene nose-proof; but can we blame the guy? He was hearing a hardly possible likely accusation from the girl he was head over heels in love with, and only that much made him feel more than afflicted.

--I'm sorry. I will be more careful next time. I know you hate it...—

--Well... you weren't that smelly. Actually, your clothes have been odorless lately and I haven't found a hideous pile of empty cigarette packets inside your backpack. That's why I was telling you were doing great.—

"Phew!" He sighed to himself while mustering some strength to sound as nonchalant as he could in order to say Nene another cocky comment but then Nene started talking again.

--So, What do you say? We can play some Mario Card.—

--Mario Card. Really? — He chuckled as he thought she was as lovely as always, so naïve as she was clearly inviting over a guy to her apartment. He was not a scoundrel who will come over to her apartment just so he could push something else, he wasn't. But he was struggling to really not giving in. He was so in need of her company and her voice right now that if now he was heading to her apartment he would not be able to restrain himself from telling her too much about his not wholesome life, about Tsukasa, about how he really felt about her. But--- Fuck! –

--What happened? Yugi-Kun? –

"That makes 5 dollars, sir."

A thud sounded and a boyish voice different from the Amanes' pseudo-husky one seemed strangely familiar on the other end of the line.

--Just where are you, Yugi-Kun? Hello? –

--Yes, hum...At seven's –

----The one nearby Kipling's bus station?—

--Well, yes...why...?—

--You're in front of my condo, Yugi-Kun.—

--And? I took the bus to the end of the line just so I could accept your invitation to play Mario. Call me crazy, needed, lone motherfucker, but I'm here.—

Was it too damn twisted? He said the truth and there he was throwing away that composed man's monologue about principles and stuff, but here he was with some Oolong tea for her, a soda, and some snacks in front of her freaking condo. He was entirely giving in her kindness.

--But, Yashiro if you have changed your mind about this- --

--Yugi-Kun, if you look up there's a window in the middle of the 7 floor, are you looking up?—

--Well, yes...--

A light turned on at the indicated apartment. At the current hour, the other lights were off and gave to that lonely window the power to appear like a lighthouse. Then a silhouette appeared behind the curtains.

--Yashiro, it's that you?—

--Well, you bet it's me, that's where I live. Yugi-Kun, I'll leave the light on from now on and this will be our personal lighthouse for the times you have lost your way... when you have made mistakes; I will leave the light on. So it can serve as a guide for you to find the way. What do you think? It is already so late...you must be tired.—

Amane was not able to keep his tears like he was trying to avoid getting them to pour; call it pride or whatsoever but now that Nene presented him the 'light' he was finding for, he was at a loss crying like a lost infant who just has managed to find her mom. Where has that lighthouse been all this time? He has been looking for it all along and at the most unexpected time and at the most unexpected place, he found it just as easy as looking up into the distance.

He was at loss,

He was lost,

He was looking for an unknown place all along,

How lovely has to be for it to be like this?

He's now on her way to her guide,

To his light.

I write this down so I do not forget it; About Amane and Nene, about their troubled lives, her hardships, their resolutions. It is about for the sun to rise and for these two to meet their so awaited and sought closure. Keep them safe. There they live in the lighthouse they have created for the sake of us who have as well been looking for a light and a place to serve us as a guide to find our way.
