Harry Potter: Draco Malfoy

"She said I was her first." Cedric tells his friends.
"She lied to you." Draco said laughing.
"Shut it Malfoy." I tell him punching him in his arm.
"Excuse me?" Cedric said.
"I have to go study with Hermione." I said walking away from the two of them.
"I was only joking." I hear Malfoy say.
"That's what I assumed."
"You can assume but you'll never really know." Malfoy told him as I heard him come after me.
"You know I told you to stop talking to Cedric. I don't want you messing up my relationship just because you decide to be childish." I told him as he started walking next to me.
"Can you skip your study session and come to my room?" He asked
"No. We are over. I'm with Cedric. Why can't you accept that?"
"Because you still love me and I know it."
"Oh really and how so?"
"What initials showed up in your cup today?" As soon as he asked I felt my heart start racing. I had to lie to him but I knew he was right.
"CD." I told him trying to sound as confident as possible.
"Oh really?"
"Yes."
"So you would mind me looking in your journal, from class?" He said and at this point I was stopped in front of my room.
"I a-actually don't have my journal. I let Hermione borrow it."  I told him as I opened my door. "So good evening, but I should start grabbing my stuff to study." I tell him and I go into my room and take a seat on my bed. I hear the door knob turn and there he is. He went straight for my book and ran into the bathroom. I sigh in defeat knowing he saw it. He opened the door and walked out with a smile on his face.
"I knew it was me." He said placing the open book down on my desk and pointing to the initials.
"Get out Draco." I tell him in a soft voice, I choked on the air in my throat and I felt my eyes watering.
"Why are you-"
"I don't want to see you around here anymore. Just stay away from Cedric and I. Do not look I our direction, don't even think about me. I told you it was over and you continued to push your way in! Those initials mean nothing to me, it was a stupid flaw!"
"It's not a flaw, because I got your initials too."
"It doesn't matter! Just get out, I hate you!"
"You don't mean that."
"I do, I mean it with every once of who I am. I mean it a thousand times over."
"But we-"
"We were a mistake Malfoy. And I'm sorry I wasted your time. I'm truly sorry you thought you loved me. But we never should have happened."
"If that's what you wish. I shall leave."
"Fine go!"
"Okay then!"
"Good!"
"Great!"
"Amazing!"
"Fantastic!"
"Goodbye!"
"Farewell!"
"I bid you adieu!"
"And to you as well!" He said as he walked out my room and I shut the door. I felt my heart break and my body collapsed, I sat against the bottom of my bed and let the tears run down my cheeks. They slowly came to a stop as I simply sat there looking at the light hitting the art on the wall. There was then a sudden knock at my door and I stood up, I wiped my tears and straighten myself up as much as possible. I went to open the door and I'm greeted by my friends and my boyfriend.
"Are you okay?" Potter asked.
"Of course, why would I not be?"
"Draco came to us and told us to check on you." Ron told me and Hermione elbows him to shut him up.
"Did he hurt you? Do I need to set him straight?" Cedric asked as he embraced me in a hug.
"No, I'm fine."
"You don't look fine." Hermione told me.
"We just had an argument that's all. It was nothing serious, I simply told him to stop lying to Cedric and trying to anger him."
"He doesn't get to me, you don't have to worry about it."
"Are you all ready to study?" I asked and they nodded. Cedric kissed me goodbye and left. I sat in my room with the other three and Hermione put her stuff on my desk.
"What's this?" She said holding up the journal.
"It's noth-"
"Draco Malfoy is your soulmate."
"No he's not. Put the book down Granger." I tell her and she showed the boy the book.
"I believe he is, I mean you clearly did get a D and a M."
"Guys, leave it alone. We have to study for our quiz tomorrow." Harry told them.
"Thank you Harry." I said as they all decided to sit down after that. We studied and it had gotten fairly late, we all felt good about the work and agreed we were done studying for today.
"So? What really happened?" Harry asked as Hermione put away her books and Ron organized his papers.
"He said I still loved him and I said I didn't. He was adamant about it and asked about my initials in the cup. He had come into my room and ran to the journal and straight into the bathroom. He opened it and put the book down on the desk. He told me that he got my initials after I said there was a mistake in the spell. I got mad that he wouldn't just let me be with Cedric. He tried saying that we were in love. But I told him it was a mistake when we got together. I denied it all, and he got tired of it. He left after we started yelling, I know he wanted to stay and I know he was sorry but he went to far this time."
"Well?" Ron said
"Well what?"
"Do you love him dingus?" Harry asked
"I try not to."
"Why? It's so obvious you both have feelings for each other. Hagrid thought so. I mean you did change him for the better." Hermione told me.
"Can you all stop! I hate memories, I hate thinking about it. Did I love him? Yes. But I'm with Cedric and it's not fair to him. He asked me to the Yule ball and that's in a week from now."
"We get it. Well goodnight then, we should all get proper rest before our quiz tomorrow." Harry said and they all got up and left after saying our goodbyes and giving me hugs. I got ready for bed and I washed my face, I brushed my teeth and changed into my black long sleeve and sage green pajama pants. I laid in bed after turning off all my lights. I slowly found a comfortable position to fall asleep in.

Yule ball

I walked into the ball with Cedric and we danced. Everyone was in a good mood, that was until I saw Hermione alone. I left Cedric for a bit and went over to dance with Hermione. Cedric ended up going over with friends and when Hermione found some guy to dance with I was left alone. Harry and Ron were with their dates. I stepped out of the main hall where they all dance and walked up the stairs to a balcony. I leaned against the railing and looked out at the view and stars in the sky. I was a sucker for the night time views.
"Aren't you supposed to be dancing with your boyfriend?" Draco asked.
"I needed air. What are you doing up here?"
"My date left to dance with her friends." He said as a breeze passes by causing me to shiver. I stopped leaning on the railing and walked back into the hallway. I know we aren't dating and I know I was the one that got him to move on but it still hurt that he had a date. "Where are you going?"
"I-I just need to get a sweater." I lied trying to find some way out.
"You can have my suit jacket." He said swiftly taking it off and holding it out for me.
"Thank you." I said taking it, seeing that he didn't want to be alone. Then a slow song started playing I looked down the staircase to find Cedric dancing with another girl in the middle of the floor. I wasn't aware he had any female friends. I turn and see Draco had gone back to the balcony and held his head down as he leaned over the railing. "You aren't going to ask for this dance?" I asked him and he turned around with a smile.
"My lady, would you care for this dance?" He held out his right hand.
"Why yes good sir, I thought you would never ask." I tell him as I take his hand and he pulls me into him. His left hand going under his suit jacket and resting on my lower back as our right hands stayed together. I lay my head and left hand on his chest. We danced just like we once used to, and it was nice. I thought about us and I missed it. I know it's wrong and not fair for me to continue falling in love with Draco. But I couldn't help it, he was someone that just gets me without trying. I closed my eyes and a single tear escaped. I looked up at him and he looked down at me.
"Is my dancing that bad?" He asked Making me laugh.
"No, I just miss us." I said and he spun me around.
"I do too." he said pulling me back. We danced till the song ended and Hermione had come to get me.
