When we got back home, I was already missing Santorini. It was like heaven. Everything was amazing and looked so unreal. It was like a dream. It maybe the happiest and most peaceful I've been in a really really long time. No work, no dead bodies, no unsubs. Just Aaron and I pretty much doing whatever we wanted every day.
But I was happy to be back because I really missed Jack. We all talked every night but it's not the same. He was a bit sad that he didn't come but we promised him that when he gets a little older, we will come back all together.
While we were in Greece we also started working on picking furniture for our new place. He had almost everything picked out and would start ordering everything as soon as we got back. Jack, of course, decorated his own room and made it exactly how he wanted.
Today was the first day back to work but it was also the first day without Emily. She left yesterday for England and starts work today. Aaron said that he has already scheduled an appointment with an agent for her replacement. He hasn't told me anything about who he is meeting yet but I have some people in mind.
As soon as we got to the bureau, I saw Penelope waiting on my desk. "Welcome back!" she says excited as she sees me and Aaron "It's good to be back" I say and I hug her "How was Greece?" she asks "It was amazing" I say "Yes, it was. I gotta go to my office and start working do I'll see you later" Aaron says "Ok" I say and we kiss before he leaves.
"Got any pictures?" she asks "Of course I did" I say "Then what are you waiting for?" she asks and takes me with her to the conference room. Reid was already sitting there, reading something. "Hey" I say "Hi, welcome back" he says "Thank you. I hope we are not interrupting" I say "No, it's fine" he says. Penelope takes my phone and connects it to the screen. "Ready" she says and hands it back to me. I pull up the first picture I had. "This was our hotel room" I say
