"You want to check the internet to see what it says?"

"Yes. I really want to find out."

"Then finish your lunch and then we can go back home to do so."

"Okay." We continued to eat while Bob cleaned the counter. After we finished, we thanked Bob and left through the door. The bell above it rang again and Hannah complained that outside was colder than it was earlier.

"If you're so cold, then call my mom to pick us up." I said.

"Why can't you? You have a phone."

"Yes, but I didn't bring it with me."

"This is why you should start learning to drive, that way, your mother wouldn't have to drive us everywhere." Hannah said as she pulled out her white flip-phone from her blue jeans' pocket.

"I'd rather wait. What about you? How about you start learning to drive." I already knew that Hannah's parents woudn't let her drive until she was 18. Hannah was 16 as well, but her parents were a bit protective which is why they won't even let her have a pet. They say it's too dangerous and that animals were unpredictable.

"What's your mom's phone number?" I told her and then Hannah made the call. I remembered something that I didn't want to forget. I went back inside of Subway. Bob was still cleaning with a yellow wet rag. He looked up at me and asked if I had forgotten something. I almost did. I looked at the table Hannah and I were sitting at. There it was. The torn piece of paper, still on top of the table. I picked it up and put it inside of my pocket. Bob waved to me as I left and I waved back. I stood next to Hannah who was in the middle of a conversation with my mother.

"Yes, so can you pick us up?... Across the street... Of the theatre... Go the same way you drove us earlier... At Subway... No... Yes, I know... Then make a turn... Okay... Yes... Thanks." She hanged up and looked at me. "Your mom is difficult to give directions to."

"Tell me about it." I said and rolled my eyes as I smiled.

Soon, Mom found us, still standing in front of Subway. She parked and let us in.

"How was the movie?" She asked. I looked at the clock on the dashboard of the car. It was 12:37.

"Oh, I loved it." Hannah said. I agreed with her. We told Mom about our favorite parts of the movie and how funny it was, even though it was a mystery show. I then looked at Hannah and her light jacket.

"Say mom, can we stop at the mall to buy Hannah a better coat?" I asked. My freezing friend liked the sound of that. Mom liked the idea too.

"Sure. I have some things I actually have to get at the mall."

"Yes!" Hannah and I said in unison. Shopping was one of our favorite things other than watching movies and playing with Chip.

We all talked along the drive until we parked at the mall parking space. Surprisingly, we were able to park close to the entrance. The three of us hopped out of the car and Mom locked it. There was a short beep-beep coming from the car as it locked.

"So what is it that you need to get?" I asked my mom.

"A gift for your aunt Susie. It's her birthday next week."

"Should I get her something too?"

"You can get her some nail polish if you like. She loves to do that kind of stuff.

"Okay, what color?"

"Yay, we get to look at nail polish!" Hannah said before my mom got to answer.
